the place was beautiful furnished, a real home away from home. there was a cute little basket full of good information about the area, walks, restaurants, and other useful information. The kitchen was amazingly stocked, there even Marmite! It was a cold ish weekend, the place was nice and warm without need for heating (which was available) Aroha was super responsive and great to deal with. the place looks quite small from outside but is actually super roomey. walking distance to the beach with a great view from the deck, I can imagine how great it would be on a summer day! Loved everything about it, highly recommend and will definitely stay there again if Aroha will have us :)

Loved it there! A little way out into the country but easy to find. The car parking was marked. I met Tom on my first day there but never saw him again. I knew that he was available, but I was left to my own devices.

The treehouse is an amazing little place to stay to get away and relax. So peaceful and charming. Joanna is a great host, very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Had a nice stay for a few nights at this studio in Opononi. Has stunning views of the water and was easy to check in. It had basic amenities that got us through our stay, but feel like we could have used some more amenities in the kitchen (such as a hot plate or small oven) as there isn’t much options for food in the town so we had to make our own food or drive out of town (approx 40 mins to next town).
