Sylvia is wonderful and very helpful. We were in communication before I got there. She gave me all the information I needed.she works downstairs and is always available. The apartment is so wonderful. Everything you need is there. She has very good design taste. The kitchen and bathroom is completely stocked The apt is 2-3 minutes walk to the train station! In fact the trains go right by the building. It's in a very quiet older area of Idar-Obenstein and right off the main highway. There is a LIDL supermarket within a 1 minute walk. This area is beautiful with winding roads and rivers though steep valleys and towns and houses built up the hillsides. A magical place! And a wonderful apt and wonderful host..!

Had a great visit! The welcome was warm, the place was clean, comfortable and perfectly in line with the description. The host was very attentive and available, which made my experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this listing and will not hesitate to come back on a future visit. We arrived at the cottage and immediately felt at home. Everything was as described or as shown in the pictures. Marianna was always easy to reach and we felt more than comfortable and welcome. Our dog also felt very comfortable there; that you bring your own blanket for the dog is a matter of course for us and also that you cover the sofa, for example, if the dog goes on the sofa is absolutely understandable. The house is in a quiet location and we were very quickly in the forest with the dog (where even a few elves live). All in all, the stay was very relaxing and simply great for us. We will definitely book with Marianna again, because we have seen a lot in the last few days, but not all the sights in the area.
