“Great house if you are looking to work remote from Lake George with two families or friends. Lots of different rooms and strong wifi around most of the house. The outdoor fire place, wood burning oven and grill are a game changer for afternoon and evening hangouts. Close proximity to town and the lake are awesome for the weekend. Paul, the owner, was very responsive and attentive to any questions or concerns. Highly recommended stay!”

“This cabin was fantastic. Spacious and clean, had all the basics you would need (except oil & spices for cooking but we assumed that may be for sanitary purposes at this point). The patio was great, Jon was kind and responsive before and during our stay. Would definitely return in summer or even winter. The one thing I didn’t understand from the listing that surprised me is that this cabin is basically a duplex and there is another unit in the same building. It was not an issue at all and I’m not accusing Jon of trying to hide it at all, just thought it might be helpful to include for other people considering booking!”
This is not for everyone! We offer a small and very private (heated) cabin that sits on a seasonal stream. There is no bathroom, plumbing, or electricity. There is an outhouse. It is not suitable for toddlers, as there is a stream with a steep rocky bank and a narrow bridge without a railing. Lake George (the actual lake) is 1/4 mile away as is a marina (2 closest are Castaway and Fishers). The village with public beaches (and bathhouse) is a 10 min drive. There is a hiking trail from the cabin.
“Thank you allowing us to stay on your wonderful property! We had such a great time exploring the area and disconnecting a bit. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor solar shower to clean up and cool down given how hot and buggy it was the few days we were there. What a great value being able to stay so close to Lake George and still have a cozy bed to come home to, as well as have a beautiful outdoor private space to relax, read, sit by the fire, etc. If you are fine without running water or electricity, or would prefer that for a getaway, this is certainly an opportunity not to pass up! Thank you!!”
