Monthly Rentals in Dead River Falls

OMG - we LOVED IT HERE and literally started talking about when we were coming back immediately when we left. Melissa and Ryan are super communicative and the directions make a private, secluded place really easy to find. The location is great because you’re 10 mins from Big Bay (smaller town, a few places to eat, moderate cell service) and 20 mins from Marquette (bigger town, better service) and ridiculously close to amazing hikes and nature. But with all the hikes, overlooks, etc so close, all we wanted to do was hang at Melissa and Ryan’s sugar shack. It felt like the best parts of camping, but even better. The site is so secluded, so it’s like camping with no neighboring sites and with a ridiculously cozy, sweet house with big windows, heat, great books and the ability to cook, sleep and relax. We bought some of Ryan’s beautiful ceramics and camp wood and fresh eggs on site. Thank you, Melissa and Ryan, for sharing with us!

Brandi’s place was the perfect spot for our women’s mountain bike weekend. Close to the trails and the downtown. Very peaceful surroundings with beautiful horses and chickens. The hot tub was a huge plus! Plenty of space to spread out and make your own meals. Highly recommend!

Great value, communication, and lots of outdoor activities in the area.

Clair is great host, very responsive and helpful. The place was very clear, modern, updated, and accommodating. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. It was near the multi use trail which was great for us since we could hop on with our bikes and go to the shore, parks, and downtown easily. Plus the NTN was nearby also. I love Marquette and would highly recommended this place.
