Perfect location- comfortable vibe. Lovely decor. Alison was superb. The bed was comfortable. We loved walking to all the things. Our car didn’t move! However, with the convenience of being in town and able to walk anywhere comes noise. Typically I wouldn’t turn a TV on, so not having one wouldn’t be an issue, however I would have loved to have one to drown out the neighbors conversations. Literally, someone sneezed in another unit (or upstairs) and I said, bless you. They responded saying, “thanks.” 2 things would have made our stay perfect, a white noise machine, tv or Bluetooth speaker to drown out the noise and provide some semblance of privacy and a full-length mirror in the bedroom. Overall, I would recommend this place and will likely stay again. The convenience of being right in town coupled with the river and fire pits right outside was awesome. Next time, I will pack earplugs and a speaker!

One of the best hosts I’ve dealt with. She is quick with responding with any questions you may have and gives you plenty of recommendations around the area. She asks you how the stay is throughout the dates you are there. Overall a great host and the property is beautiful.

Great place. Everything you need in a killer location. Kimberly was great. We had a few questions and she got right back to us with the info we needed.

We needed a place to stay overnight and take a hot shower after a long drive. This lodge has a lot of character since it's been converted from a business of some sort. Bedrooms are large and beds are comfortable. Plenty of parking outside. The only sink is in the bathroom, and the shower stall is smaller than standard size. Can easily walk to two restaurants in Durbin and this is very close to great hiking and views. Well off the beaten path so the stars should be excellent, unfortunately it rained the night we stayed. Many local birds singing in the morning.

We spent four awesome nights at the Rambling Rose and loved it. This boho apartment in downtown Davis was perfect. The vintage couch, cool artwork, and eco touches gave it such unique charm. It’s steps from everything in Davis. We walked to dinner, explored shops in Thomas, and hit Canaan Valley and Blackwater Falls. The kitchen was great, beds comfy, and the workspace ideal for a quick Zoom. Luscombe was an awesome host with killer local tips. We’ve totally fallen for this place and can see a lot more time here in our future!

We had a wonderful time visiting Canaan Valley. Karina was the best host, very nice and clean home. I will miss playing with the two kittens Celeste and Juanito ❤️ would definitely stay here again. Thanks again

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. This would be my second time staying at Rachel’s Airbnb in Elkins, WV and it was perfect! We had my daughter’s wedding for this stay and I rented both of her units in the same building to accommodate family. It was the perfect situation for us. The units are cute, colorful, nicely decorated, well equipped, clean, peaceful, convenient location, free parking, WiFi, some streaming services for TV, laundry in unit, spacious and quiet. Rachel is easy to work with and friendly. We will most likely stay again next time we are in West Virginia visiting family. Thank you Rachel! 😊

Perfect for what we needed. Will definitely stay there again next summer. Felt right at home and the brewery across the street was a big bonus too.

This is a very nice unit in a perfect location. It felt much larger than we expected based on the listing -- it is large for a 2 bedroom place. The front living room/sitting room area was very spacious and has super comfy chairs and couches. Lots of windows and light as well. Kitchen is modern and clean and has all the basics for simple cooking. Location is perfect for seeing Thomas without getting in the car -- coffee shop right downstairs. Lots of hiking options nearby. We will rent it again if we come back to Thomas. Debbie is a great host. Our car battery was dead when we were ready to depart, but she had someone helping us get it started within minutes. Above and beyond helpful.

My family came to town for the Moonlight on the Falls half marathon in Blackwater Falls State Park. Mary’s place was the perfect homebase for us. Located right on Main Street we were able to walk to dinner as well as shows at the Purple Fiddle. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the mornings and relaxing on the large back porch in the evenings. The home has a large kitchen and living room. Mary went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay. I highly recommend this home. We will definitely book again.

Emily's place is very lovely, if you're looking for peace of mind it's the best option

This home is historic, and while it could use a little extra TLC here and there, it was such a lucky find! Located right next to the river, you can walk the trail that leads to the next town over, plus you can hear it at night when you step out. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, and there are space heaters should you get cold at night. The vault was the best part about the house. It was converted into the bathroom, but it was very cool to see what it once looked like. I love peace and quiet and you get exactly that with this home. There are many parks nearby too! You have to go in town for groceries and restaurants, but fortunately it’s a short 5 min drive away. We got to chat with some of the locals and everyone is so kind and warm, It’s absolutely beautiful out here. Even the drives to and from are stunning. We stayed for a month and were very lucky that Emily and Sarah made it affordable to us. This was such a great find.

Excellent location and very spacious accommodations! Highly recommend staying at The Loft when visiting the area!

A homey and affordable option in Davis. It’s a great little town and the Airbnb was very convenient. Rentals are becoming abundant in Davis, this isn’t new and shiny like many, but homey and comfortable. I would argue an Airbnb more of how Davis should be. It’s easy to find and quick to all the adventures the area holds.
