We stayed prior to running Hadrians Wall and it is about a 20 minute walk from Carlisle Castle so the House, also convenient for Hadrian's Cycleway, National Cycle Route 72 if you are inclined as a stopover. The house comfortably sleeps 4, with the second bedroom made up with a configuration of two single beds, the high ceilings give an amazing feeling of space also. What I did not expect, but is mentioned in several reviews is the option to park your car in the rear courtyard, we put a BMW X5 in the back so it gives you an idea of its size.

Simply a perfect stay at Tann's place - the space has everything you need and I love the Hadrian's Wall theme. Check in instructions probably the most comprehensive I've seen on AirBnB and Tann was professional and kind with all comms. Thank you for a lovely stay - this will definitely be my first choice if I'm ever in the area again

Great stay at Tom’s place. I was there for work & felt right at home. Tom is a very helpful & communicative host. The apartment is lovely & the bed is super comfortable. I slept so well!! 5 * all round!
