Cottage holiday rentals in Cruz Bay

A lovely week for our family vacation to St John! Fair Winds is very private, cozy, and comfortable. The VIEW IS AMAZING. We stargazed every night and felt the trade winds cool us off after an outdoor shower in paradise. The kids loved staying in the guest house while us parents stayed in the main house bedroom. Thank you, Margaret for meeting us in Coral Bay and leading us up the mountain so we knew exactly where to go!

Owners were super nice and easy to work with! Caretakers, Joe and Sally couldn't have been more helpful. My family would love to return to this special house!

Cynthia and her team were amazing. From the moment we booked until we left, the communication was prompt and helpful. The place is Heaven on Earth! The views are amazing and very private. There are gorgeous paths on the property with exotic plants and wildlife. The hosts have everything you will need, including aloe for sunburns, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, towels, coolers, etc. This is probably the nicest and most well appointed rental we have stayed in. The location is quiet and only a short drive to restaurants, the market, marina, beaches and hikes. However, being at the far end of the island, everything is scaled down and there are fewer people. We found uninhabited beaches and some of the best hiking ever. If you don't like crowds, this is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Stonehenge Cottage checked all the boxes - perfect location, beautiful surroundings, plenty of room for 5 adults, comfortable beds, and lots of amenities. The place is close to restaurants in Cruz Bay and there are 3 markets to pick up groceries and fresh fish for cooking at home. It is also close to the hiking trails and beaches on the south side of the island which are less populated and provide great snorkeling.

Great get away to the lovely Fairwinds. Coral Bay is a treasure and Margaret was terrific - greeting us to lead us up the house on our arrival and very responsive to our questions. Great trip!

Lynn’s place was perfect for us as 2 couples visiting St. John. Close to everything and with beautiful views, we enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was also really well-equipped which was much appreciated!

Quite a jeep drive to get there, but well worth it. The view is amazing! The unit is small, but cleverly-designed, immaculate, and well-maintained. It’s a rare property that earns five stars from almost every guest. This one absolutely deserves it.

Great stay. Recommended and definitely will stay again. Very private, the view is amazing and 2 AC units which help the apartment stay cold during these extremely heat days. A 4x4 is needed to reach the apartment in rainy days. I don’t think the golf cart could reach the unit. Keila is a great host and communication was great. Thank you for everything.

Maria and Chloe were such great hosts! Their prompt communication and local recommendations were simply the best and made us feel right at home! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time and we did! The place was absolutely beautiful with hands down the best views on the island!! If you're looking for a private place to stay with truly million dollar views and taking a dip in your own private pool, don't look any further and book this right away! You will be extremely impressed with this place! Thank you Maria and Chloe for making our vacation memorable!! We will be back!

White Bay Villas cottages are just a slice of paradise. The view is the "wow" factor, however the cottage is more spacious than even the pictures do justice with a nice little separate living room and a small galley kitchen that has everything you need. The location is very private...a very manageable 4-5 minute footpath winds down to the private beach at east end of White Bay. You cannot leave a car immediately at the cottage...I was there without a car and any number of local drivers can pick you up very quickly...I think Jost Van Dyke is fine without a rental car FWIW due to the friendly and responsive taxis.

We really enjoyed our stay! Walkable to Blanc Flamingo which is great for brunch and about a 30 min walk from the ferry station (or you can taxi). There is a beautiful view of the ocean from the front deck. Would stay here again!

Just as described. Beautiful view. Host was very proactive with directions, recommendations and instructions. Apple Maps took us right there, but if not very precise instructions were shared ahead of time! Close enough to beaches, restaurants, the national park and shopping, but was also peaceful and secluded! WiFi was a little spotty but we weren’t there for the WiFi (again the views of the back porches!!!)

Amazing deal with a fantastic host! You take your AWD up a bumpy, adventerous road, park, walk up an incline to a set of stairs. You're immediately rewarded with an amazing view of the island. Waking up in the morning to the view is something we'll never forget. At night, the moon illuminates the island and the ocean. Coming from NYC, its something I've never experienced. You'll love the hermit crabs, lizards, and frogs. Bring bug spray! Read the signs - no toilet paper in the toilet!! Headlamps were convenient to have at night, but they are definitely not necessary. Grab some cereal at the local grocery store for easy food in the morning. Breakfast is sometimes hard to find on the island. This Airbandb is in a great location for the restaurants that are around and for beaches out east and west. Try a different way of living. You won't regret it!

More than a Airbnb, this place a community of wonderful people congregating in a beautiful natural atmosphere. The two other groups there with me both have been going there yearly for almost a decade and it’s clear why. We even got offered a boat trip snorkeling in the middle of the bay among other hospitality! A fantastic place to support

St. Thomas was great but meeting Mida was my favorite part of the trip. She did more than she was suppose to do. Her personality was a true blessing during this trip. If you guys have de opportunity to book with her, don’t think it twice. After that trip I won a mom in st. Thomas.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! Perfect getaway for my wife and I on the quieter side of the Island. We’ll definitely be back to enjoy Jewels View next time we visit St. John…. Excellent communication/responsiveness with host and very eager to help during your stay.

Had a great stay! Location is close to town and all the beaches. Cottage is very clean and was perfect for our trip. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive car to get there. Driveway is steep.

We loved our stay at Tara’s! It was private and just what we were looking for on our first trip to St. John. The driveway is a doozy, just as it’s described - you’ll definitely need 4 wheel drive. Overall we had a great time and Tara’s place was perfect for us!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Bill and Emily's Lameshur Guest Cottage! We had flamingos on the pond next door every morning and beautiful weather. Bill was easy to communicate with leading up to the trip and gave good recommendations for where to go, what rental company to use, etc. The place was well stocked when we got there with paper towels, toilet paper, linens and towels, coffee (which is expensive to buy there so very nice to have!) and basic kitchen necessities. All kitchen appliances, pots/pans, silverware etc were in really good condition and made it nice to make ourselves meals when we wanted to. Bill went above and beyond to provide amenities for guests that surpassed what was shown in the listing! They had a snorkel/feet washing station, snacks and drinks available for purchase on-site, and a small vacuum for cleaning sand out of the rental Jeep before returning it. I will recommend this place to everyone and anticipate visiting again someday!

If I could leave 6 or 7 stars or more instead of 5 this spot would get it. The adventure to arrive here is matched by the view of Jost Van Dyke upon parking, walking through the yellow arch and ascending the staircase with lush and pristinely curated vegetation is an experience in itself. But then opening the sliding glass door and walking in, I felt like…Yes! This place is it! I deserved this. If there is one problem, it’s perhaps your desire to simply stay here rather than get out to adventure around Tortola, but this can be overcome with balanced time and relaxation here. Would 1000% come back and stay again, though ideally with a partner next time.

Very kind host that answered all my questions, the cottage was super cute and well kept and the screened in patio was the best part to sit in the morning and eat breakfast. There are many amenities such as snorkel gear, sunscreen, beach towels, and more that made our stay more enjoyable without having to purchase expensive stuff at the stores :).

Secluded cottage with private setting. Absolutely stunning views with your own private reef to snorkel. I snorkeled every day and did not see another person. Definitely need to be comfortable with driving on rough roads with switchbacks and also capable of climbing lots of stairs when leaving the cottage. Make sure you go to EAST Caret bay. I had a little trouble finding it because I turned at the west Caret bay sign initially. The journey there is sooo worth it. You won’t hear a sound other than birds, the waves crashing, or frogs and insects at night. If you’re looking for privacy with gorgeous views and snorkeling at your doorstep, this is the place.

I stayed here while attending a beach tennis tournament on Water Island with my friends, and it was absolutely perfect. The location was peaceful and private, but still close enough to the ferry and Honeymoon Beach. The host was super responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. After long days at the beach, it was the perfect spot to relax and recharge. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in St. Thomas!
