There are 67 uneven steps down to cottage from parking area. There are steps that lead to a trail and rocky beach. Property has a generator.

We had a lovely stay! The apartment is walkable to lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, and the ferry, so no rental car necessary. It’s also right next to a hiking trail that you can follow to get to Honeymoon Beach in about 30 minutes. Comfy bed, good amenities, great location, everything we needed :)

Such a wonderful place to stay and experience in St John. There was literally everything I needed and more for the trip. There were pots and pans to cook with, dishes and silverware to eat, salt for my food, a water machine to drink from and even nice already made in the freezer. The bed was super comfortable and there was even an iron for my clothes. There was shampoo and body wash in the shower and ac and fans to keep me cool. Communication with Annie was very timely. Annie was super nice and even gave me a ride to and from the ferry terminal. Would stay here again if I ever visited.

Once we found our way anticipating going back to this beautiful villa sitting on the lanai looking over Cruz Bay was fantastic wrap around terrace. After lovely days on the island different beaches we so looked forward to coming back to our gorgeous villa with this fabulous wraparound terrace with views over. The owner she gave us a lot of good suggestions about where to go beach and even for jeep rental!! All in all, this is a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend it !!

The view from the villa was fantastic. The amazing porch was the first and last place to be each day. It was interesting to have the bedrooms and living room in separate areas but worked out fine. The beds were comfortable. As others have said, you need to be prepared for a very steep hill. For most this is not walkable. The beaches are so beautiful, like a huge swimming pool!

Pura Vida was lovely! The entire home was spotless. The views and the outdoor pool was our favorite. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The grounds were beautiful and interesting. The ruins had its own little history lesson and we loved the shell book and its history to previous owners of the home. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you so much!

Dena was wonderful! The place was as described and we were able to use it as a great home base as we explore beautiful St. John! Convenient for being able to explore both sides of the island and less than 5 minutes to market and downtown. Dena was very accommodating and it was so nice having the beach towels and chairs. The fairly steep hill with parking really wasn’t an issue as it isn’t far and you can load and unload right by the door. A/C was plenty adequate and a nice hot or cold shower depending on what you’re looking for! So grateful for a wonderful stay and to be able to explore St. John!!! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Dena!

Scenic Villa | Walk to Cruz Bay & Stunning Views

We loved our stay in this beautiful apartment with an open layout and the most magnificent views. At booking, I did not realize that the common area was open to the outside, with only screens and no AC. However, this gave a wonderful feeling, like being in an eco lodge, and there were AC units in the two bedrooms, which made sleeping very comfortable. It appeared that some of the other units in this complex had sliding doors to the patio. But we were out during the day and it was not unpleasantly warm when we were inside. If climate control at all times is important to you, then I would not recommend this unit. The kitchen was well stocked with high quality cookware and knives, which is rare in most rental properties. The parking space and close proximity to supermarkets and downtown were fantastic benefits as well. The unit was also stocked with beach towels, snorkeling gear, a cooler, beach chairs, etc. so we were able to pack light and did not need to rent items. Hope to return!
