Great accommodation with hospitable owners. Has everything needed for a comfortable stay, i.e. well equipped kitchen, wifi, etc. The yard feels private and cozy. Smooth communication with the host. We really enjoyed our stay

The accommodation is located in a small, beautiful and private village – perfect for relaxing. Everything is spotless and thoughtfully arranged. There’s plenty of space, so everyone can have their own area – ideal for larger families with older children or teenagers, as each one can have their own room without being disturbed. Konstantinos is a fantastic host – always available, quick to respond and genuinely committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. We even got small souvenirs gifted. There’s also an amazing local restaurant called Veranda of Prines nearby with a very generous owner and incredibly delicious food. With a rental car you're just a short drive away from Rethymno and many other beautiful spots on the island, making this a great base for exploring. We usually drove about 1-2 hours into every direction and were able to explore the entire island. Thank you for such a lovely stay – we truly felt at home and would love to come back!

Flawless accommodation, beautiful little house tastefully renovated. The jacuzzi is very nice especially at this time of year when the temperature drops quickly after dark! We thank the hosts for their special touches. Ideal for staying a few days with family! Only small negative point, the main road of the village is a little busy in front of the accommodation (do not hesitate to close the gate with children!) However, once inside it is very well soundproofed.

Heike was a perfect host. We could contact her at any time. Everything was correct.

The place is charming and friendly also very well designed and built. The gardens are beautiful. We loved the resident cats but then we love cats. The valley is beautiful with almost no traffic so very peaceful. The swimming pool is great. It’s a special location , you definitely need a car to get about and visit the main beaches etc which were excellent and Kissamos which is good. The photos are very accurate but it’s better in real life

The villa is beautifully located in a dead end on the mountain of the small village of Armenoi. Everything is well maintained, clean and atmospheric. All sanitary functions are very great in shape, the kitchen is great incl. Dishwasher equipped and the sleeping areas maintained. The grill worked impeccably and coal and lighter were ready. The communication with Elina has been great, very helpful and attentive. A car is indispensable if you want to go to the sea ( 8 min. Travel time to Kalyves ). I would come back anytime and therefore also recommend the best conscience.

Beautiful location in the heart of Crete - easy to get anywhere on ghe island from here. Very quiet and private small mountain village, very comfortable homw that was very clean and perfectly furnished. Stavros was an amazing host , very attentive (but not interruptive), brought us multiple local delights & fresh produce. This is a fantastic place to comfoortanly relax without being too far away from all of the action on the beaches. Highly recommend!

This is my family’s second time staying with casa magnolia and believe me when I say you really will not find a more generous, loving, and friendly family who genuinely care about your comfort and want to show you the beautiful hospitality that Crete is known for. We were overjoyed to see them again and are very thankful that this family has chosen to share their little paradise on earth with the world. The home is spotless clean, organized, beautifully decorated and in a countryside location that is unique and breathtaking. The owners, without asking, went out of their way to buy us essential groceries and prepare delicious local food and drink for when we arrived. We are grateful for this! Bed linens are of high quality and freshly laundered professionally and were much appreciated after a long day out and about in Chania. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean and so is the rest of the house. We will never hesitate to visit again and hope to do so in future because of this family. ❤

The cottage is a truly lovely accommodation situated in a calm neighbourhood right by the beach. The beautiful garden with olive trees is a highlight, we had a great time eating breakfast on the sunny terrace. The cottage itself is small but very cozy, perfect for a couple. It has everything you need to cook simple meals. There is also an outdoor shower, and space to park the car in the shade on the property. Highly recommended!

Sifis is an absolutely exceptional host: proactive, very good advice on activities to do in the area, where to eat and in addition super nice :-) He is very responsive, we wrote regularly. The accommodation was impeccable in terms of cleanliness and it lacked nothing, which is very appreciable. The garden is beautiful and the view is sublime. This is the best AirBnb experience we've had to date. We will return as soon as possible in view of the quality of the accommodation and the host. Thank you very much Sifis and see you soon :-)

We had a great time at the house in the olive grove overlooking the mountains!!! The house was sparkling clean, everything abundant and the communication with Lombros was great!!! The house is lovingly decorated, furnished to a high standard and equipped with many practical details!!! The beds are very comfortable and the wonderful pool a highlight!!! We would definitely like to come back!!! Thanks to Lombros and family for this quiet oasis!!!

The place is just amazing, it is actually better than in the pictures. The outside space is great, you have gorgeous sea views and a nice garden - sun, shade, whatever you like. The garden includes an outdoor shower, a barbecue, and an additional washing machine/toilet area. Inside is great as well. It has been so well planned, that there is not one unneccesarry piece of furniture/equipment and at the same time it had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well equipped. Every piece od furniture is carefully selected, as it absolutely everything in the house. The esthetics really stroke a cord with me. I loved being there, miss those breakfasts or afternoons - soaking up the views - in the garden. Irene, who welcomed us, was very kind and forthcoming. Great place, truly recommended.

We liked the place very much. There was everything we needed. Communication with the host was also great. Unfortunately, the street was a bit noisy and closer than I thought... Everything is easily accessible by car.

We loved this house. The view to the ocean is spectacular and we spent most of our time on the covered veranda. The house is very private and peaceful. It is one of the best equipped houses we have ever stayed in and has absolutely everything you could need. We had very good communication with Haris. Kastri is a low-key and very laid back place but with plenty of great restaurants and bars. We would happily return.

One of the nicest places we've stayed so far! The little house is secluded, complete tranquility & deceleration! We enjoyed the days here, the terrace under the house invites you to lie in the sun, read and enjoy the view. The view is amazing, even from bed. The path is adventurous and not for the faint of heart by car - extremely steep and more for ATVs, but we also managed with a small rental car. The kitchen is well equipped and everything you need is there. It's about a 15-minute walk to Mochlos! Very recommended to anyone looking for peace and quiet!

The apartment is - as the name suggests - surrounded by olive trees and very quiet, but with good connections (10 min walk) to the lively center of Agia Galini. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and very clean. We felt very comfortable in Stefanie & Zacharias' beautiful accommodation!

A perfect oasis, nestled in the heart of the village it was a perfect location for the wedding we were attending nearby. Very close to the beach, local tavernas and supermarkets. The apartment was spotless, beautifully styled and very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Kostas was a great host.

We immediately felt comfortable here. Quiet, relaxed complex with lovingly restored cottages. The kids (5 and 7) were able to move freely on the premises and loved the pool :) Helen was always approachable and took care of our concerns right away. Car is highly recommended, also to explore the beaches and places of the surrounding area. Clear recommendation!

The house is in a very nice location, for those who like it a little quieter. The surrounding beaches were almost deserted in June. The house is simple but sufficiently furnished, we bought a few basics (salt, sugar, toilet paper). From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the sea. A very relaxed host, always available and friendly. We will be happy to come back.

Our first visit to Crete and we had a wonderful time, the villa was amazing with beautiful views, very peaceful and relaxing. The pool was lovely just what you need to cool off from the hot sun. The hosts were lovely and very quick to answer any questions we had. The information that is left in the villa of local shops, doctors, hospitals ect came in very handy as i did need a doctor whilst on holiday. I will definitely come back.

Home was gorgeous and very clean. It was the center of where we wanted to explore. The owners and host were very friendly and helpful!! We hope to visit Crete again in a couple of years and will definitely try and book this home again!!!

Manolis’ place was wonderful & he is the absolute best host!! It’s such a beautiful home, with attention paid to every detail. And we really enjoyed how peaceful Sfinari Beach was. Manolis left us some homemade sweets & raki for us when we checked in, which was so thoughtful. Then when I ended up leaving my leather jacket accidentally, he went above & beyond to get it back to me! If you want to stay with a host who truly cares about his guests & their experience, this is the place! Thank you Manolis!

We loved staying at Notos. Great view. Peaceful surroundings, punctuated only be nature. The house was very clean and lots of nice touches like olive oil and Aspa’s mum’s delicious liquour. Very good communication. Two villages walking distance with typical Greek tavernas. Thank you!

We spent 16 days with our little boys and their grandfather in Maria's beach house and are thrilled. The house is beautiful, the grounds around it are a dream for children and the beach is often all to yourself. But above all, it was Maria's parents who helped us to have an unforgettable stay. Eva and Nikolas are incredibly warm and hospitable people who supported us in a real emergency and never hesitated to help. Thank you for that. And yes: the surrounding area with its greenhouses is not what you imagine as a tourist in Greece. But you can experience real Greek life there and if you like it a little more touristy, you will enjoy the cute Mirtos and Ierapetra.
