The accommodation is located in a small, beautiful and private village – perfect for relaxing. Everything is spotless and thoughtfully arranged. There’s plenty of space, so everyone can have their own area – ideal for larger families with older children or teenagers, as each one can have their own room without being disturbed. Konstantinos is a fantastic host – always available, quick to respond and genuinely committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. We even got small souvenirs gifted. There’s also an amazing local restaurant called Veranda of Prines nearby with a very generous owner and incredibly delicious food. With a rental car you're just a short drive away from Rethymno and many other beautiful spots on the island, making this a great base for exploring. We usually drove about 1-2 hours into every direction and were able to explore the entire island. Thank you for such a lovely stay – we truly felt at home and would love to come back!

Such a beautiful home, with an amazing view of the mountains! Perfect view of the Milky Way at night from the private balcony. The home was extremely clean and well decorated. The air conditioning was modern, functional and very welcoming after long days at the beach. The bed was soft and very comfortable. If you don’t mind narrow, winding roads up the mountain, it is the perfect place to stay! 40 minutes drive to Chania, and within 2 hours drive of most major, popular beaches. Nikos was very kind, responsive, and welcoming. Thanks to his hospitality, my stay in Crete was an outstanding experience!

Logement impeccable, belle petite maison rénovée avec goût. Le jacuzzi est très agréable surtout à cette période ou une fois la nuit tombée la température tombe vite! Nous remercions les hôtes pour leurs petites attention. Ideale pour y rester quelques jours en famille! Seul petit point négatif, la route principale du village un peu passante devant le logement (ne pas hésiter à fermer le portillon à clé avec des enfants!) cependant, une fois à l'intérieur celui ci est très bien insonorisé.

Die Wohnung und die Lage waren unschlagbar gut. Auch der Check-in war super organisiert. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

The place is charming and friendly also very well designed and built. The gardens are beautiful. We loved the resident cats but then we love cats. The valley is beautiful with almost no traffic so very peaceful. The swimming pool is great. It’s a special location , you definitely need a car to get about and visit the main beaches etc which were excellent and Kissamos which is good. The photos are very accurate but it’s better in real life

Die Villa liegt wunderschön in einer Sackgasse am Berg des kleinen Örtchens Armenoi. Alles ist prima gepflegt, sauber und stimmungsvoll. Alle Sanitärfunktionen sind sehr gut in Schuss, die Küche gut incl. Spülmaschine ausgestattet und die Schlafbereiche gepflegt. Der Grill hat tadellos funktioniert und Kohle und Anzünder lagen bereit. Die Kommunikation mit Elina war toll, sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Ein PKW ist unverzichtbar, wenn man mal ans Meer möchte ( 8 min. Fahrzeit nach Kalyves ). Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und somit auch besten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful location in the heart of Crete - easy to get anywhere on ghe island from here. Very quiet and private small mountain village, very comfortable homw that was very clean and perfectly furnished. Stavros was an amazing host , very attentive (but not interruptive), brought us multiple local delights & fresh produce. This is a fantastic place to comfoortanly relax without being too far away from all of the action on the beaches. Highly recommend!

This is my family’s second time staying with casa magnolia and believe me when I say you really will not find a more generous, loving, and friendly family who genuinely care about your comfort and want to show you the beautiful hospitality that Crete is known for. We were overjoyed to see them again and are very thankful that this family has chosen to share their little paradise on earth with the world. The home is spotless clean, organized, beautifully decorated and in a countryside location that is unique and breathtaking. The owners, without asking, went out of their way to buy us essential groceries and prepare delicious local food and drink for when we arrived. We are grateful for this! Bed linens are of high quality and freshly laundered professionally and were much appreciated after a long day out and about in Chania. Bathrooms are exceptionally clean and so is the rest of the house. We will never hesitate to visit again and hope to do so in future because of this family. ❤

The cottage is a truly lovely accommodation situated in a calm neighbourhood right by the beach. The beautiful garden with olive trees is a highlight, we had a great time eating breakfast on the sunny terrace. The cottage itself is small but very cozy, perfect for a couple. It has everything you need to cook simple meals. There is also an outdoor shower, and space to park the car in the shade on the property. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Haus im Olivenhain mit Blick auf die Berge!!! Das Haus war blitzsauber, alles was reichlich vorhanden und die Kommunikation mit Lombros war super!!! Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, hochwertig möbliert und mit vielen praktischen Details ausgestattet!!! Die Betten sind sehr bequem und der wunderbare Pool ein Highlight!!! Wir möchten unbedingt wiederkommen!!! Danke an Lombros und Familie für diese stille Oase!!!

The place is just amazing, it is actually better than in the pictures. The outside space is great, you have gorgeous sea views and a nice garden - sun, shade, whatever you like. The garden includes an outdoor shower, a barbecue, and an additional washing machine/toilet area. Inside is great as well. It has been so well planned, that there is not one unneccesarry piece of furniture/equipment and at the same time it had everything we needed. The kitchen is very well equipped. Every piece od furniture is carefully selected, as it absolutely everything in the house. The esthetics really stroke a cord with me. I loved being there, miss those breakfasts or afternoons - soaking up the views - in the garden. Irene, who welcomed us, was very kind and forthcoming. Great place, truly recommended.

We loved this house. The view to the ocean is spectacular and we spent most of our time on the covered veranda. The house is very private and peaceful. It is one of the best equipped houses we have ever stayed in and has absolutely everything you could need. We had very good communication with Haris. Kastri is a low-key and very laid back place but with plenty of great restaurants and bars. We would happily return.

Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Es gab alles, was wir brauchten. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war super. Die Strasse war leider etwas laut und näher, als ich gedacht hatte... Mit dem Auto ist alles gut zu erreichen.

Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in der wir bisher waren! Das kleine Haus ist abgelegen, komplette Ruhe & entschleunigung! Wir haben die Tage hier sehr genossen, die Terrasse unterm Haus lädt dazu ein in der Sonne zu liegen, zu lesen und den Ausblick zu genießen. Der Ausblick ist grandios, sogar vom Bett aus. Der Weg ist abenteuerlich und nichts für schwache Nerven mit dem Auto - extrem steil und eher für Geländewagen, wir haben es aber hingekriegt auch mit einem kleinen Mietwagen. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und alles was man braucht ist da. Nach Mochlos ist es zu Fuß ca. 15 Minuten! Sehr empfehlenswert für alle die Ruhe suchen!

Nous avons passé un séjour magique, même s’il était bien trop court (seulement 3 jours) ! La maison est charmante, le village plein de caractère et les alentours sont magnifiques. Dès la première soirée, l’accueil a été chaleureux et très agréable — nous avons eu de beaux échanges. Les habitants sont adorables, ouverts et bienveillants. Un immense merci à nos hôtes pour leur générosité, leurs conseils, le raki, l’huile d’olive… et surtout à Nikolaos pour sa bienveillance ! Nous sommes tombés amoureux de ce lieu et c’est certain, nous reviendrons. Je vous invite vivement à réserver vous ne le regretterez pas.

Das Apartment liegt - wie der Name schon sagt inmitten von Olivenbäumen und sehr ruhig, jedoch mit guter Anbindung (10min zu Fuß) ins lebhafte Zentrum von Agia Galini. Das Apartment ist mit allem Ausgestattet was man braucht und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns in Stefanies & Zacharias schöner Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt!

A perfect oasis, nestled in the heart of the village it was a perfect location for the wedding we were attending nearby. Very close to the beach, local tavernas and supermarkets. The apartment was spotless, beautifully styled and very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Kostas was a great host.

Wir haben uns hier sofort wohlgefühlt. Ruhige, entspannte Anlage mit liebevoll restaurierten Cottages. Die Kids (5 und 7) konnten sich frei auf dem Gelände bewegen und waren begeistert vom Pool :) Helen war immer ansprechbar und hat sich sofort um unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Auto ist sehr empfehlenswert, auch um die Strände und Orte der Umgebung zu erkunden. Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Das Haus liegt in einer sehr schönen Lage, für diejenigen die es etwas ruhiger mögen. Die umliegenden Strände waren im Juni nahezu menschenleer. Das Haus ist einfach, aber ausreichend eingerichtet, ein paar Basics (Salz, Zucker, Klopapier) haben wir nachgekauft. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Ein sehr entspannter Gastgeber, immer erreichbar und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Our first visit to Crete and we had a wonderful time, the villa was amazing with beautiful views, very peaceful and relaxing. The pool was lovely just what you need to cool off from the hot sun. The hosts were lovely and very quick to answer any questions we had. The information that is left in the villa of local shops, doctors, hospitals ect came in very handy as i did need a doctor whilst on holiday. I will definitely come back.

Home was gorgeous and very clean. It was the center of where we wanted to explore. The owners and host were very friendly and helpful!! We hope to visit Crete again in a couple of years and will definitely try and book this home again!!!

Manolis’ place was wonderful & he is the absolute best host!! It’s such a beautiful home, with attention paid to every detail. And we really enjoyed how peaceful Sfinari Beach was. Manolis left us some homemade sweets & raki for us when we checked in, which was so thoughtful. Then when I ended up leaving my leather jacket accidentally, he went above & beyond to get it back to me! If you want to stay with a host who truly cares about his guests & their experience, this is the place! Thank you Manolis!

Ich durfte im Monat Mai das wunderschön gelegene Haus von Aspa benutzen. Da ich manchmal arbeiten musste, war ich über das WLAN froh, welches bis auf einen Tag immer gut funktionierte. Der Ausblick von der großen Terrasse ist unbeschreiblich schön, man sieht aufs Meer und den Berg namens "Weinender Löwe". Die Glocken der Schafe, der Gesang der Vögel ließen mich als gestressten Stadtmenschen sehr schnell entspannen. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und für 2 -3 Personen ausreichend groß. Die Gegend rund um Lentas/Dytiko ist wunderschön, Tavernen, Supermärkte sind ausreichend vorhanden. Ein Auto, um diese zu erreichen, ist von Vorteil. Aspa war sehr freundlich und hat bei Fragen immer gleich geantwortet . Sie hat sich auch proaktiv bei mir gemeldet, um sich zu erkundigen wie es mir geht. Über die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten bei der Ankunft habe ich mich gefreut. Ich kann das Haus von Aspa uneingeschränkt empfehlen und hoffe, bald wieder kommen zu können.

Wir waren 16 Tage mit unseren kleinen Jungen und seinem Großvater in Marias Strandhaus und sind begeistert. Das Haus ist wunderschön, das Gelände drumherum für Kinder ein Traum und den Strand hat man oft für sich allein. Aber vor allem sind es Marias Eltern, die uns zu einem unvergesslichen Aufenthalt verhalfen. Eva und Nikolas sind unheimlich herzliche und gastfreundliche Menschen, die uns in einer echten Notlage beistanden und nie gezögert haben, zu helfen. Danke dafür. Und ja: Das Umland mit seinen Gewächshäusern ist nicht so, wie man sich als Tourist Griechenland vorstellt. Aber man erlebt dort echtes griechisches Leben und wer es etwas touristischer mag, wird in schnuckeligen Mirtos und Ierapetra seine Freude haben.
