Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Crete

I already miss this house. It’s like a fairytale cottage. So many cute little spaces indoors and out. Character and charm! It’s old with stone steps and some low doorways, so don’t be clumsy. Our hosts were hospitable and kind. We felt right at home. There are many flowers, herbs and trees. Unforgettable.

If we had to describe this house in one word: wow! What a fantastic place. The house itself, the jacuzzi… everything is right. If you really want to escape the hustle and bustle, this is definitely a top choice. Within 10 minutes, you can be at wonderful beach clubs, at nice restaurants or in the nightlife, exactly what you are looking for during a holiday if you ask us. The fruit trees around the house provide a feeling of tranquility. Really beautiful! We were genuinely sorry to leave, but we will definitely come back. Also a big compliment to the owner: what a service! We had forgotten something, and he did everything he could to get it back to us. Thank you again for the great service and the great stay. What a fabulous place in a great location! Right in the charming old town and close to the water, you wouldn't hope to stay in a better location. The flat is spacious and beautiful, with a lovely terrace. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks so much for the perfect stay!

little corner of paradise with breathtaking views, even better than in photos. Charming little house perched on the mountain. Charming decor. The essentials of comfort are here! Ideal for lovers of a quiet and unique corner. Access via a narrow and stony track.(Access to paradise is earned!) Very warm welcome with an excellent homemade meal. Too bad we had 2 days of bad weather, (hot tub out of service) we would have brushed with absolute perfection!!

Amazing home, literally about 20 steps away from the beach. The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. It looks brand new! The host had fresh fruits, delicious cakes, pastries, still and sparkling water in the fridge, bags of ice in the freezer and a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us at check in, which was an amazing experience! Best Airbnb host ever! The villa had a private rooftop deck that was the ultimate place to relax and unwind, while offering an amazing view of the Sea of Crete. The rooftop also has a very big jacuzzi, dinning table, seating and loungers. I forgot to mention that the neighborhood has restaurants and shopping in both directions. You will definitely be happy with this place.

Perfect place to stay while in Chania and exploring Crete. Close to everything but on a charming quiet street tucked away from the noise and crowds. Next to some of the best restaurants in town. Apartment was private, spacious and very clean. AC worked great. WiFi was ok. One thing to note is stairs are steep and second bedroom is accessible through the first bedroom, up another flight of stairs and , detached and on the rooftop space with a nice seating area and hot tub. Everything was great though and would highly recommend!

Excellent villa on the south side of Crete. Pool, landscapes and the house are beautiful! The south of Crete is way less touristy than the north so if you want quiet this is the spot. We were the only Americans anywhere in May!

Absolutely wonderful stay. The villa is clean, spacious, with a huge outside area. Pool was perfect temperature, with comfy sun beds surrounding. The hot tub was also a lovely bonus! Air con worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything you’d need. We made do without a car, but be mindful that the roads are very steep and windy, so renting a car would make your life easier - especially if you’re planning on exploring. Almyrida beach was lovely and sandy. Sunbeds were €6 a day, which we didn’t think was bad. Plenty of decent restaurants, and a supermarket also on the beachfront. Plaka, only a short drive (or 20 minute walk) down the hill has some lovely restaurants for dinner. All VERY reasonably priced. Overall the Villa was perfect. The Host was responsive and helpful. I would 100% recommend this villa if you’re after a relaxing week in the sun!

We had an amazing week - we really enjoyed the house and its amenities and the beach is just across the street, so it’s a great place to disconnect and enjoy. If you like to run, there’s a long beach just a few mins away. Hosts were great, very responsive and super helpful. 100% recommend, would definitely come back.

We spend 8 days in the beautiful villa and enjoyed it a lot. The house and the surroundings are perfect for spending some relaxing days at Crete. The hospitality of Mariaeleni was our highlight, thank you again for providing us with local food, a lot of recommendations for the local area and always being available when we had questions or needed something. We can highly recommend this place 😊

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

we spent a week in this villa. it is perfectly equipped, clean, modern. the heated and large pool is very pleasant. it is 10 minutes from kissamos. The host was very helpful and responsive from the beginning to the end of the stay.
