Townhome holiday rentals in Crete

The place was as described. It was the bottom of a two-story house. Parking is right at the house and access to the apartment is down a flight of stairs. The place was nice, quiet, just like we imagined it. There are several taverns in the place, of which we were only able to try two and were satisfied in both. We were very pleased with the local bakery with great pastries. By car it is approximately 25 minutes to Elafonisi beach and 30 minutes towards Balos.

We had a fantastic stay at this well-appointed house just a 5-minute stroll to the beach. Erika, the new property manager for 2025, was brilliant—professional and friendly. The house is clean, modern and very comfortable, with everything you need including dishwasher, coffee maker, micrwave and washing machine. We loved the terrace where we watched beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine. , The pool just outside was great for a dip any time. A car is handy for ‘pink’ beaches like Elafonissi, Falarsana (and Balos too, thanks Erika!) and Chania Old Town. We also enjoyed visiting Biolia to learn about olive oil and a winery neerby with tastings. The onsite reception desk were very helpful. Local food was excellent—Maraicabo had superb dishes (huge portions!) and we loved Blé on the beach for small plates, cocktails and sunbeds. For fresh fish Porfira was a winner. We had such a wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back!

Can’t say enough good things about this charming home - full of character! From the beautiful tiles to stone features. We rented a car to drive to Chania and Elafonissi beach, but walked everywhere in town with ease and felt very safe. Alexandra was very welcoming and gave us a tour of the house and bought a few groceries and even made us a pasta lunch. She gave us restaurant recommendations as well! We certainly enjoyed this home!

Very pleasant stay, very charming and very quiet place. Very responsive host when we had problems. The pool is really an asset because it is beautiful and very clean. The only small downside we found was that the accommodation did not have a microwave.

My mother and I stayed at the stone house for 4 nights and it was a wonderful stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. A rental car is a must at the location is 30 minutes south of Heracleion and there's no mode of public transport there. We enjoyed our time here very much.

Beautiful apartment, well equipped, close to Chania by car. Easy street parking which is very quiet. The apartment is very spacious, it can be suitable for 2 families. Our host's welcome is perfect. The stay around Chania is very pleasant. Recommended!

We stayed in this beautiful house for the 2nd time and it was a very successful stay again. We really had enough space for 8 and were able to enjoy the huge outdoor area. This time there was even the tip that you can order food at the local tavern under Naso's name, also wonderful. You definitely need a car, otherwise the surroundings are difficult to access. The sea is rather far, but with Neapoli a cute little town nearby.

We rented the whole house (we were 17 members of our family). As only normal, some things didn’t work, but the hostess with her family immediately solved them flawlessly. The house is supper comfortable (4 kitchens!!!), and well compartlized so privacy was kept for who needed it. All restaurants recommend where great (even though it’s hard to eat bad in Crete 🤪) We used for 3 nights a private chef recommended by Chryssavgi (Spyridon Spilos) who was outstanding also (they bring all ingredients, cook, put the table and most importantly, they clean everything afterwards!!!). The pool was also big and super refreshing (and very well kept). In summary, if we come back to Crete, we will be using this house again. Superb overall experience!!!

The villa was simply wonderful. Very modern, nicely decorated. Stavros warmly welcomed us like no Airbnb host ever did before. He gave us a lot of recommandations for our stay and was always available if we needed anything. The location is great, not too far from Chania (8-10mn by car) but at a reasonable distance to be away from the noises of the city ! You should definitely stay there if you want to go to Crete as I guarantee you, you will have a great time there in this villa.

My family had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location is perfect—nestled near a charming old town, just a short walk from the historic center of Chania. It’s the ideal spot for exploring its winding streets filled with shops, restaurants, tavernas, and scenic harbor that make the town so special. The apartment itself is a perfect blend of comfort and modern style. It’s been thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chania!

We had a lovely stay in Angelos' apartment. It was easy to find, clean, cosy, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace (and playing with the kittens). Cafés, supermarket, and fuel station were very close, which was great. Thanks for the wonderful stay, Angelos!

Thank you Antonios for having us at Nino's House! The stay is HUGE (we were a traveling hiking couple going hiking), architecture beautiful and had all we needed. For us there was so much to do... hiking, canyons, backpacking, ocean views and hidden beaches and lovely countryside. A short distance from Heraklion and we were there quickly. Would be great for a family or couples to stay for a week or more! Temperature this time of year was lovely - highs of 18C lows 11C with only a single day of rain (it poured but was still soothing). Our interaction with Antonios was very special and we will certainly come again as soon as we can! Recommend!

We would also give 6 stars if it were possible... We had a wonderful time in Stefan's cottage. The 4 terraces invite you to relax and offer the perfect view of the sunset. The accommodation has everything you need and the kitchen is super equipped to cater for yourself. Stefan's self-designed travel guide has great insider tips and he himself is always available by email for questions. Thank you for everything! ♡

Dimitra is by far the best Airbnb host I’ve ever interacted with. Her place had gorgeous views, adequate space, and was extremely clean. I would definitely stay here again. She also made my family feel very welcome to Crete with her warm hospitality and she gave wonderful local recommendations. Dimitra and her place are both awesome!

This house is in a beautiful location - set amongst the pretty little streets of Splantzia. It is a few minutes walk to the harbour and to the many restaurants in the old town. Within a hundred metres or so is a lovely square with shady bars - one of which serves amazing meze (there were foodie walking tour groups coming the Kafenieo Fix to sample to food). There is a Saturday fruit and veg market in the next street where I bought oranges and made juice for breakfast. The house is great. The main room has a very comfortable bed, there is a good sized bathroom, and a lovely garden with lemon tree and scented plants. It is easy to prepare a full meal if you want - the kitchen is very well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, full oven and lots of pots and pans and utensils. These is full aircon in both bedrooms and the main downstairs room. I would definitely recommend this house where you can feel part of the local community while still being very close to all tourist stuff.

we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The roof terrace was very nice to stay. The house was well equipped and the beds comfortable. it seemed a little dark to us at first but it was always nice and cool! spiros was very friendly and he fulfilled our wishes, thank you:) would come back right away.

Incredible value, we stayed for a week and left at home. The hosts had fast communication and helped giving local restaurants and travel recommendations. I could recommend this place more. If I could give 6/5 stars I would.
