Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Crete

One of the most incredible places I’ve ever stayed. Wonderful location as it’s walking distance to everything in town but quiet streets at night. The place itself was clean and luxurious, a wonderful host with some of the best recommendations. Highly recommend!!

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

Spacious, pleasant and well-equipped apartment. Evangelos is responsive and welcoming. The proximity of the airport is very appreciable for an early morning departure.

Located on the first floor above a good bakery, the one-bedroom apartment corresponded to the photos. The balcony has been larger than expected. The friendly landlord provided us with good products from his garden. The price/quality ratio was right.

We stayed for 3 nights in Agios and the small appartment was just what we needed, a place to sleep and have breakfast.

Highly recommend to anyone coming to the area. The place is exactly as in the pictures and it met our expectations and even more. The location is perfect, the apartment is incredibly clean and everything we asked for, we immediately received a response. The pool with a perfect view. And most importantly - Mina, the owner of the place. She was in daily contact with us to recommend attractions and restaurants and more.. And took care of every detail during our visit. We felt like family. And we will definitely be back in the future..

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

We had a fabulous week away here! The apartment was beautiful and well equipped. The balcony was so lovely with the amazing views. We were given oranges to make fresh orange juice which we had each day..so delicious! Also a lovely bottle of wine which was a nice welcome surprise. The apartment was a short walk to town, where each evening we explored a different area of Chania. We hired a car for exploring in the day, lovely beaches with clear blue water. Our first time to Crete and will sure to be back. Our daughter stayed with us and worked from home for 4 days, the WiFi was very good which was a relief! The apartment was very light and airy but maybe a fan in the twin room would be good as it got very hot, would be our only suggestion to improve our experience.

The place is quite clean and quiet. It is located the top floor and the ocean view from the room is wonderful. It has sufficient kitchen equipment, large living and bed rooms. A free parking spot is close by. I recommend this place.

Great apartment, very central within an easy walk to Ag Nik port and attractions. Free bus also stops outside. Huge balcony with a seaview and great air con. well equipped kitchen and plenty of things in the fridge left by the host who lives upstairs and is very friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely time staying here.

Eva‘s apartement was super clean and exactly like she described. Our plane was late but our check-in was flexible thanks to Eva. She made us feel at home right away and also came bearing gifts for us, traditional Raki and amazingly fresh fruits (her figs were delicious!!). She also sent us many recommendations on what to do, which restaurant to check out and her preferred beaches etc. Also, we were able to park our rental car at her property. We stayed only 10 days which was too short as always. The bedroom was perfectly dark thanks to the blinds so our sleep was deep and recharging. Overall, I can fully recommend Eva‘s place. It‘s a perfect place to chill and relax and it‘s not too far away from the beaches and restaurants. Thanks for making our stay so awesome!

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!

Ioanna was the most incredible host we have ever had, she is very thoughtful, the apartment was great, with lots of little extras like food and beverages for us. The outside terrace is amazing, a great place to eat, relax, and hang out. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with everything a traveler would need. The location is close to the beach and restaurants and walkable to the old town, and also quiet. Ioanna was a great communicator and kept us well fed, arranged transportation to the airport, and quickly answered any questions I had. I highly recommend this place, and I hope that we can stay there again someday!

George was an incredible host. So responsive and lovely to work with. The apartment is also lovely. Our only “complaint” was that it was not seafront or safe to walk to the beach. Thankfully we had rented a car so we were able to get around.

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

Irini is a warm and attentive owner to her hosts. Through all its little touches, flexibility and good humor, you can only feel at home! The environment is soothing, the apartment matches the photos and the hot tub a real plus! We were not able to enjoy the pool because of the weather but the setting is pleasant, it is to share with Irini's family who is as friendly as she is. You will have from time to time the visit of his cat and away from the dog. I can only recommend hoping to come back one day and discover the evolution of the site🥰. Thanks for everything!

We stayed a week and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. The house is quiet and spacious with everything we needed. The whole town is easily walkable and very peaceful, full of kind people.

I recently stayed at this beautiful villa in Greece, and it exceeded all my expectations! The villa itself is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the bedrooms were cozy and inviting. I particularly loved spending time on the terrace, enjoying the serene views and the tranquil atmosphere. The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

House impeccable as in the listing, close to shops, restaurants, beaches, main road. La canée, Gorges de samaria 5 hours by car. We had a great time. Thank you.

Stayed here from June 9 - June 13, our reservation was for two people. Mano was very kind and accommodating to us. We took a ferry to Heraklion, rented a car, and drove to the Airbnb. No trouble finding it, and having a private parking space in this location is a HUGE plus! Chania parking and driving is very chaotic. Airbnb was very generously stocked with espresso pods, Ouzo, items from the hosts bakery (the banana bread was incredible), a bottle of water, and more. Everything we needed! Excellent local recommendations and a super market within a short walk. Everything worked perfectly and was very clean too! Would 100% recommend and stay here again!
