A beautiful little base for exploring the dales; with everything you could need, and stunning views. Everything had been thought of and we couldn't ask for more.

We have just spent a weekend at Kate’s beautifully clean and well appointed flat in the centre of Grassington. The beds were extremely comfortable and the entire flat was bright and airy. Throughout the booking Kate was very responsive and very helpful with any questions we had. Lots of lovely independent shops to look around and we can highly recommend The Stripey Badger coffee shop and also The Devonshire pub. If we ever found ourselves in the area again we would certainly stay here again.

Lucy Barn is in a great location overlooking one of the cobbled streets, so you can watch the world go by while relaxing with a drink in a comfy chair.Perfect after a long walk! You can literally step outside the door to the cafés and pubs. Despite this, it was still peaceful and quiet overnight. The barn was quirky, cosy and charming and it had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The was a nice selection of welcome items left for us which was a nice touch. Grassington is in a superb location for beautiful walks from the doorstep and a great selection of cafes and pubs which also do good food. We had a lovely meal at the Devonshire. We thoroughly enjoyed our short break and walking the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and would love to return again! On a practical note, this place has a steep spiral staircase down to the bedroom which was absolutely fine for us but might not suit those with mobility issues.

We had a really lovely few days. Very comfortable studio with an excellent location for trips in the dales. Unfortunately, the battery went flat on the car when we were leaving. We were going to Settle on a helicopter ride, so it was a bit stressful. We had loaned our car out and then borrowed my mother in laws car (long story) I was so embarrassed, because its a shed on wheels and it was covered in massive bird poo's. I wanted the ground to swallow me up! A lovely woman passed by, and was monumentally pleasant and helpful. She went and brought her car, that was unsuccessful at first, then she went for her husband and it finally started. We were so grateful to be setting off and only realised later that she had told us her name was Leigh Anne. It was the airbnb owner. She was the most lovely and extremely helpful person.
