A fantastic week spent at Otters Den. Max is a great host, the house is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean & everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The pool , games room & petting area is a fantastic addition & kept my family entertained for the week. We didn’t venture out much as we wanted to have a relaxing week but the walks we did go on where beautiful. Max & his family are such kind hosts with the little extra touches, late check out on Easter Sunday, an egg hunt for the kids with chocolate eggs being delivered to our door, supplying us with fresh eggs & topped us up with fire wood when needed ! Communication was great, Max always replied to us within the hour. I would highly recommend Otters Den

If I had an issue or question the phone numbers provided were very responsive. Lovely house. Big and spacious. Great views from ours. Nice warm temperature inside. The hot tub might not be hot on the first day of book in though.

The place was spotless and well maintained. Beautiful location with a route to walk/ trek nearby too. We had a great time during the stay.

Absolutely stunning place. Louise was the perfect host answering every question I asked. The pool was a great hit with us adults and of course the children. The farm tour was lovely and Louise was very understanding when my little boy had a nose bleed whilst feeding the calves. I would highly recommend a stay at The Grange!

Katherine and Tino’s place was just like the pictures but better. It had lots of little extras like children’s toys, books, high chair and cot making travelling with (slightly!) less clutter so much more helpful. They responded to all questions before and during the stay super quickly. The pool on site was an added bonus and booking system easy to use. Although there were quite a few houses, it seemed very quiet and private when we were there.

We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

Epic views and surroundings at The North Hill Cottages. The friendly host family has an amazing spot the perfectly situated property lifts you high above the world to a place of tranquil peace and beauty. The cottage was perfect for us and the property offered as much or as little as we wanted to do. The hosts were responsive and available, the other guests were respectable and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Owlscombe exceeded our expectations. The setting, views & garden are stunning. The property is extremely well equipped & had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. There's a large paved patio overlooking the sea, lawned area perfect for garden games & an enchanting 'woodland' style garden. There is a plentiful supply of crockery, glassware & cutlery so we didn't run out of anything before the dishwasher was full (there are two - which helps keep the kitchen free of dirty dishes). We especially appreciated the generous supply of mugs & that there were large mugs (my partner always takes his own when we go away as so many places only have small ones!). The stairgates & high chair we requested were set up ready for our arrival. Our party included a young baby & an 87 year old, so it was important to us to stay somewhere it was a pleasure to spend time rather than just use as a base. Owlscombe was perfect & Stuart couldn't have been more helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

We had the most wonderful week at Jon’s place and absolutely fell in love with it and the area!!! Jon communicated brilliantly with us throughout our stay and we felt help and advice was on hand if we needed it! Us and the dog settled in immediately and we felt it was like home from home from the start! The cottage is extremely spacious and very comfortable. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and the beds were extremely comfortable! Gorgeous gardens too! For me it was the kitchen! We didn’t want to eat out as we do enough of that in London so to have a fully kitted out kitchen was fantastic! They have thought about everything!!! It was so peaceful in the cottage - the dog hardly barked the whole week! I walked quite a bit and the stunning putsborough beach was a lovely walk (less than 10mins)or if I’d prefer less than 3 minute drive where the dog had endless hours of fun! It is dog friendly all year! I cannot recommend jons place enough! It was utter perfection!

Southerly is a beautiful house, with great dog safe grounds and everything you could possibly need for a stress free stay. The beds are really comfortable and the linen is fresh and clean. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. The living areas are large and uncrowded with comfortable sofas and an enormous dining table. It is the best equipped kitchen we have ever had in an Airbnb property! The garden was attractive and well furnished with loungers, table and chairs, bbq and sofa and table. Janice and Leigh were welcoming hosts who always responded promptly to any queries from the moment we booked until the moment we left the house. The recent acquisition of an EV charger was the ultimate accessory! Thank you Janice and Leigh.

Wow what a view. Waking up to the view and sitting outside on the decking has been the highlight of this trip. The bungalow is lovely. Home from home and very comfortable. Very well equipped and perfect for the two of us. It’s in a lovely neighbourhood. To get this view it has to be high up and it certainly is. 15 mins down to the harbour but twice as long back up the big hills . Plenty of parking in Ilfracombe, so if infirm then you don’t have to walk !! Could do with a table or chest in bedroom. Would highly recommend and we will be back

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Jane's place in Ilfracombe! The accommodation itself was beautiful – clean, comfortable, and with lovely personal touches. But what truly made our trip exceptional were the hosts. Jane & Noel were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely couldn't do enough for us. Their kindness and helpfulness made us feel so welcome. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this gem to anyone visiting Ilfracombe!

Steve was a wonderful host! I booked this property on behalf of colleagues as we had a photoshoot in the area, and they could not fault Steve's home. It was clean, modern and perfectly equipped for their needs. He was incredibly communicative and on hand if we needed him. Overall a lovely host, and a lovely flat- would definitely recommend.

Such a peaceful little place to stay in a perfect location! Great things to do in the area, with everything such a short drive away.

Stayed at Williams house for a week.There were 5 adults and 3 children,such a beautiful child friendly house. Everything was spotless and well maintained,lots of space to spread out,fabulous kitchen and bathrooms and beautiful views. There was ample parking at the rear of the house. Certainly got our steps in walking to the lovely harbour and back. Would highly recommend William’s house,he was excellent at replying to any messages and very helpful with any queries. There’s lots to do around Ilfracombe and some beautiful clean beaches to visit.

Absolutely amazing find which we will definitely go back to. Great location and spotlessly clean. The design, from the layout, furnishings and items inside had clearly had a lot of thought and money put into them. Simon is super professional yet friendly, overall a great place, with a great host, in a lovely spot.

The place was exactly what we needed for a weekend for 5 of us and 4 dogs. the dog field opposite was a perfect addition, the house was clean, had a fully equipped kitchen so we could cook and eat in. It was a great location to commute to different areas and explore. The pigs were a cute asset to the location as you pull up.

Edd and Andrea were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed a fantastic stay at their beautiful holiday cottage. My wife, Emma and I have stayed in many holiday homes over the years, but I feel I can confidently say I never stayed in any that were so thoughtfully decorated and such care given to everything you might need to make the stay special. There were so many extra personal touches that you really see in don't see in other holiday cottages. There are so many to list, but some include a great DVD collection, games, quality soaps, a range of speciality teas and coffees and some lovely welcome gifts. Then, there is the stunning locations and views from every floor over the estuary and Crow Point. Each night, we were treated to an amazing sunset, viewed from the lounge or directly outside the house on the grassy verge. We were just disappointed that work meant we could not stay longer, but we will hopefully return soon. I can wholeheartedly recommend this cottage and the great hosts.

Lovely home, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great for 4 legged friends with a secure garden and suitable furnishings etc. The home is in a lovely area , with great views over the estuary from the rear of the house, particularly the main bedroom. Bideford itself is very pretty and a good base for exploring North Devon as it is close to the A39 / Atlantic Highway.

Braunds is the perfect place to stay with a group of friends or family. I've stayed in many AirBnB properties and this is the best. Great communication, very clean, and well equipped.

What a beautiful spot. Perfectly located between Woolacombe and Croyde. Secluded enough for privacy and some amazing views, however close enough to everywhere by car and some local spots you can walk too. Views and wildlife were amazing. Can’t fault the place itself, had everything we needed. Check in was easy and welcome treats were a fab addition. Met Sharon on a dog walk and she was very accommodating. No problems at all. Lovely Half Term Break away.

Lovely calm, quiet location, close to farm and field walks but also the coast. the cottage was beautifully finished with accurate & correct fittings and materials to compliment the age of the building. Highly recommend the local Farmers arms pub and fish & chips. We would visit again.
