Great location for exploring Devon/Cornwall..Nice clean,comfortable cottage, home from home! Dog friendly beach over the road, plenty of walks.. within walking distance ( downhill) to pubs,restaurants, cafés and shops. Children love to go crabbing in the rock pools when the tide is out.. Lovely little place, this was our 4th stay in Combe Martin!

We loved our stay in Combe Martin, the caravan is perfectly located a short walk from the beautiful beaches, and there are wonderful walks on the South West Coast path and so many places interesting places to visit only a short drive away. The accommodation itself was really lovely and spotlessly clean. Please note there is no WiFi, and we feel it should not be listed in the amenities, as this is misleading. We finally purchased a connection to the John Fowler WiFi which was very poor and kept dropping off. This was frustrating and the only disappointment in an otherwise really fantastic stay.

The place is great, the host waited for us to give us the keys which was nice. The place is well equipped and very clean. One thing I have to mention, is the noise. If you are looking for a sleep in this is not the best place to choose. The donkeys on the premises start being loud at 7 am. There were also works being done at 8 am outside the window. Apart from that, great place.

Andrea - We’ve had a lovely stay at Violet Cottage. The cottage was just right for the two of us. It looked as though it had been decorated and a new kitchen fitted recently. The large fridge freezer was a real bonus and the kitchen is very well equipped. It was very pleasing to find that the heating, hot water, shower and towel rail all were fed by the boiler in the kitchen. The cottage was cold when we arrived but with the heating on it was warm throughout within half an hour. We used the lower bedroom which is smaller but we like to watch the tv. There was no problem parking on Cormelles car park. It was busy but never full. The new permit hadn’t arrived by the time we left this morning. For arrival and departure we did what the locals do and ignored the double yellow lines. This part of Combe Martin is away from the sea front so is much quieter which we appreciated. We had an enjoyable holiday in Combe Martin and Violet Cottage was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

Would recommend Ed’s home, as perfect for our family & BT’s Family games available, must mention the musical instruments (a real bonus for our musical family) Lots of local walks, beaches within easy reach or within a short drive. We particularly enjoyed Ed’s garden. We all hope to return again (provided it’s available 😉)

We loved staying at Sharon’s. She was extremely friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was immaculately clean and the views of the sea were lovely. We enjoyed the Combe Martin bay and there’s lots to do in the surrounding area.
