Had a brilliant stay. Middle of the countryside. Beautiful. Really felt relaxed and at home. Had everything that I needed. Claire is a wonderful person too. Glad she popped over for the chat. Even seen UFO’s Looking forward to going back someday.

Had a wonderful stay. Absolutely beautiful. The pod is pristine and clean also well stocked with amenities and a handy guide with things to do in the local area. Jo's Garden and surrounding land is a piece of heaven on earth. Could not of wished for a better place to stay. Thank you Jo we will be back :)

Appletreewick Cottage is a delightful place to stay in and Lauren a very friendly and responsive host. As well as being very clean, light and well equipped, it was a treat to stay somewhere with lovely pottery and colour throughout the house and use of the patio. It was great to have countryside on our doorstep for local walking and cycling, as well as cafes, shops and the hotel restaurant in Thornhill, and to be able to park straight outside the house. We had a lot of rain, so visiting the galleries in Kircudbright was an added bonus. We hope to go back!

Lovely spacious cottage with enclosed garden in a beautiful setting. Great for the dog with a useful dog walking field in the campsite on the farm. We were only there for two nights but we enjoyed a visit to the nearby castle which has lovely gardens and grounds.
