We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Absolutely worth it. Beautiful place. Cozy with gorgeous gardens. Also a nice welcome touch of bowl of fruits, chocolates and plenty to drink. Loved it.

Lynae’s place was wonderful, as was Lynae! Balboa park right nearby, with gorgeous trails and scenery. Walkable to North Park area which had a fun variety of bars, shops, and restaurants. Lynae was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, flexible - and the home was bright, airy, with gorgeous views. We couldn’t say enough good things about the wall of jasmine walking in. Thank you Lynae for having us in your home!

We had a fabulous time at the Granny Flat! Everything was pristine and Kristen has thought of every amenity. She was kind and responsive. We loved the peaceful backyard with gorgeous views. The location is super convenient and a max of 25-30 mins to anywhere else in the SD area. Our pups had a great time, too! Would love to stay here again!

Excellent place. We loved the location relative to the sites we wanted to see. Free parking, laundry, very well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. We were very comfortable and happy here. And as a host Wendy was phenomenal. One of the most responsive hosts I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with on Airbnb. Thank you Wendy!!!

Staying at Janet’s was truly a 5 star experience. Janet is a lovely host and the granny flat was cozy, cute, and very clean. The property is located in a beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood not too far from all the tourist attractions of San Diego. I would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Desiree is such a sweet host! My husband, five month old, and I stayed in her Airbnb and we very much enjoyed our time. The place was well kept and clean. She had the guest house stocked with all the essentials which made it so nice and convenient. Anytime we had a question or request, she was quick to respond and resolve. The location is close to many great coffee shops, restaurants, and things to do. Glad we found this place and would definitely book it again in the future!!

Kathi and Byron are great hosts and the place is beautiful, exactly as described. We had a great time, the place is very close to everything, there is a liquor store just 1 block away, very comfortable bed, beautiful garden 😃😃😃😃 Thank you very much Kathi, we hope to come back soon to San Diego and we will definitely book your place again.

Jeanne and John's place was exactly as advertised in the description and photographs. The backyard and pool were beautiful unfortunately the weather and our schedule of events did not permit us time to indulge. If we ever needed a place in the area again we would definitely reserve another stay. We felt so welcomed and the extras were so thoughtful...like a balloon for my husband's birthday and a handwritten welcome letter. Thank you for the hospitality!

The photo’s really dont do this place justice of truly how magical it is! We only stayed for one night on our way to visit family and omg i wish we had stayed longer. It was so quiet and the neighborhood was so peaceful! Plus our hosts were so nice to message us when we were on our way with thorough instructions on how to get there safely. 10000/10 would recommend to anyone staying near San Diego

Absolutely the best! (And I'm a super-host too) Location, amenities, communication, just total thoughtfulness on Laurie's part made this the perfect San Diego getaway place for this retired active peaceful couple. If you have the privilege of staying here you'll feel like you came across magic.

A fantastic location in North Park near Balboa Park with gorgeous views from the 2nd floor deck. It made for a gorgeous backdrop for graduation family photos! There are ample nearby restaurant choices for this safe and quiet neighborhood. Comes with a very comfortable bed, and a variety of pillows with an efficient kitchenette.. only wish the shower head streamed more water. Hosts were very gracious and responsive to our requests. I definitly plan to stay here again and have already recommended this awesome place to friends.

This is a nice little private spot you can be at right by Balboa Park. Close to Downtown, and the host was great and very responsive. I believe the washer and dryer is a plus! One thing I loved is Hulu is set up on the TV so that was really nice!

I stayed here with my husband and our two pups, and we had such a lovely time. The location and view were peaceful and beautiful—just what we needed. We enjoyed taking short walks with our dogs around the quiet, scenic neighborhood. The location was perfect—we also explored down the hill and found some great local brunch spots and bars. I’d really love to stay here again!

She was fantastic. When we got there the AC wasn’t working. I got in touch with her made her aware. She couldn’t get a tech till the next day and went out of her way to go get fans. Very friendly and responded quickly. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay. From the beginning, Jessica was very responsive and friendly. The place was exactly as pictured. Jessica put so much thought into the small details that many other places don't think about. There was a pack and play for my almost 2 year old, but what stood out was the memory foam mattress insert and she provided tiny linens, pillow, and blankets. I've stayed at other places where they literally only had the pack and play and that was it. We were told to bring our own linens. My daughter used the toddler cot which also had linens and blankets. My kids loved the playhouses outside. They swept the outside area of any leaves every day. Pretty genius of Jessica to provide kid brooms to help keep her place clean. Now if only I can convince them to clean when we're at home! We would definitely stay again or try the larger main house if we come back.

This was my second time staying here, and it was just as great as the first. The place is spacious, comfortable, and has everything I needed for a smooth and relaxing stay. It’s well-equipped and very convenient. Benito made everything simple and stress-free, as always—his hospitality is much appreciated. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

We had such a lovely time at Jane's casita. It was so quiet, walkable to everything, and peaceful. Lots of birds to be seen from the patio. I'm glad we stayed here for our San Diego vacation and would definitely stay here again! Cute decor, too :)

This was a great house! The kitchen is stocked with the basics plus plenty of coffee, creamer, etc. and a basket of snacks! Water dispenser is also great. Loved everything and would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! Thank you Bonnie!

OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME! what can we say that we haven’t already? It’s our maybe 5th time staying here and we love it. Even our pup walks right up to the door ready to get in. Shaun is such an amazing host, very communicative, sweet and overall amazing. The space itself is a dream, it has all the amenities you cab think of and if you need anything just ask. The location is great. And did we mention we get amazing workouts with the workout area they allow u to utilize! Book it!

My wife and I stayed here with our nearly 6mo old son. Check in was a breeze. Place was perfect for the 3 of us. May have been too small if it were 4 adults. The neighborhood is great. Really felt like home for us. Plenty of street parking and very walkable to many restaurants and bars.

This airbnb was clean, comfy, and had a lot of great amenities available. I liked that it was in walking distance of a lot of shops and restaurants. Christina was a great host, friendly and responsive. She provided good suggestions for things to do in the area. I would recommend this listing anyone looking to stay in San Diego.

One of the most spacious-feeling casitas I've stayed in- wonderful layout and a great size for our family of three. Spotlessly clean and great communication with the host made for a great stay. Love the central location and access to walkable neighborhoods.
