Find a Country Feel in the City with Rural Views

Sit out in the backyard then come indoors to relish leafy views from a triple-aspect living room. The apartment has a cottage feel with window boxes and wooden fittings. A hanging plant, and white linens provide a calming feeling. Awake to the songs of birds and explore our 1/2 acre of fruit trees, vegetable beds, and landscape. Yet most of San Diego’s attractions are just 5 to 10 miles away. The new kitchen is included in your space so you can prepare your own meals if desired. Cooking equipment included are a convection toaster oven, coffee maker, hot pot, a microwave, and an induction plate, pots & pans, kitchen tools, cutlery and dishes. We also provide coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper, cooking oil, and ice. This space is attached to our main home but you’ll have your own separate entrance and private kitchen/ living, bed and bath. We'd love to greet you and show you around when you arrive, but if we happen to miss you will have your own unique door code to get in. We’ve prepared a binder of information for guests and can help you plan for best use of your time. However if you prefer to be on your own we’re fine with that too. We have walked to downtown or to the nearest trolley, but unless you are walkers and out for exercise, you will probably want a car. There are now lots of bikes available for rent, but it will be uphill to get back to the house. Some of our guests have chosen to rely only on Uber, in which case grocery and/or meal delivery are helpful. If you have an afternoon or evening flight you are welcome to store luggage at our house after your 10 AM check out. We are in a hilly residential area with stores, restaurants and bus/ trolley access about 2 miles away, so you'll have the most flexibility if you come by car. If you choose to Uber, you can order groceries or takeout meals to be delivered.

Come stay in a charming, stylish, & relaxing 1 bedroom apartment! Guests will have access to a queen size bed in the bedroom, as well as a twin size sofa bed in the living room, and one pull out twin. The apartment is located 15 mins driving to/from the airport & the GasLamp district, and only 20 mins away from Sea World, and the beaches! We just installed a new AC for guest's pleasure! No Smoking, pets, or parties! Check out is at 11am. Non-approved late check outs will incur a $50 penalty fee.

WOW is what I’ll start with. A great place to stay fairly close to San Diego downtown area about 15-20 min drive. Devo’s place was as described it was well stocked and we have had a great greeting with beautifully scented candles and the temperature set as it was a fairly cool day. I asked Devo a few questions and she responded and was upfront and honest.

Jessica and her Husband were great hosts. They were so kind to hold our luggage for us while we went to Sesame Street Place. They had snacks for us and Hudson had some toys cool toys to play with. Jessica set up the air conditioner for me so I would not be ton hot. I don’t like heat . Ha ha. Anything I needed she responded very quickly. It was plenty of room for my grandson and I. Eliza & Jay were very responsive! We booked last minute and they had the house ready to go and spotless. They checked in with us and offered suggestions for dinner. They accommodated all of our needs and the place was quiet, clean and comfortable! I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to book with them!
