It’s simply a home away from home. Right from booking to check out, we it very homely. Dee was very helpful with booking and she is a very kind- hearted, friendly person. Dee’s father Venugopal uncle was waiting for us at the home before our arrival and we had a long conversations, sharing his experiences and life. He is gem of a person and explained about the facilities available in the home. The interiors are really beautiful and Dee has tried maximum to incorporate sustainability elements. Even the bath towel and face pack has been sourced locally to support local communities. Altogether , it was a great experience and will visit this home again.

The place was absolutely amazing and homely. Mr. Balu has gone to great lengths to ensure the guests feel at home. The house was spotless and spacious, Mr. Balu was very proactive in providing all necessary instructions and ensuring our stay was very pleasant. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a homely stay in Cochin!

Our stay was so lovely. The AC was so appreciated at night and the second floor deck was breezy and cool during the day. The kids swam at the beach every day and the fishermen throwing their nets on the beach were friendly and happy to show us their catch. We saw dolphins several times and the breakfasts from the caretaker Shafi were some of the most delicious Keralese food we had the whole trip. Such a welcoming village, be sure to stop by Bivatu’s shop.
