Holiday rentals with beach access in Charlestown

We loved our stay! It’s perfect distance to walk to dinner downtown. Off street parking was a huge plus. Brennan gave us a great recommendation upon our arrival! Love the touch of having snacks and drinks in the fridge. Overall perfect place to stay at in Newport!

Sam's place exceeded our expectations! The view was marvelous, and the house was beautifully decorated with a wonderful collection of books we truly enjoyed. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and the room was super clean. We had a great time during our two-day stay. The small town offered so much to explore, and the nearby seafood market was a delightful surprise. we had fresh lobster at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Sam's place for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Patty’s place is the perfect choice for a weekend getaway. My husband and I loved how quiet it was and the beach down the road was perfect for our morning coffee. We had the pleasure of meeting Patty and she was very responsive. We will definitely be back next year for another relaxing, quiet weekend together.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Location is amazing and apartment is in pristine condition. Alice was an amazing host and we had great communication throughout our stay. The Airbnb also had everything needed to make sure we were comfy. Alice truly thought about everything to make sure guests feel right at home. Would recommend and will stay again!

We had a great stay in Newport at this beautiful Victorian. The place was super clean and had everything we needed. The owner did an amazing job making it feel comfortable and welcoming. We really appreciated the breakfast options too which was a nice touch. It’s in a perfect location only about a 10 minute walk from the Viking Hotel and close to everything we wanted to check out. I’d definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Shamrock House in South Kingstown, Rhode Island! The home was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Our host, Gretchen, went above and beyond—she even left us freshly baked soda bread and Irish butter, which was such a thoughtful and delicious touch. Gretchen was incredibly kind, caring, and helpful, always quick to respond to any questions. We truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

This was our second stay and there's a reason we came back! The space is cozy and comfortable - We especially appreciated the easy flexible check in and snacky snacks and coffee. Thank you Norm!

This was our third year at Michael’s and as usual it didn’t disappoint. The location is perfect for biking or walking, the apartment is the right size for our little family and has everything we need. Michael is super responsive and helpful, the local beach is perfect. We will likely be back again next year!

The best Airbnb I’ve ever been to! We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation from URI and I only wish I stayed here before her four years in Rhode Island were over. Hoping to find another reason to be in this area so I can return to this beautiful home.

This stay exceeded my expectations. I like to cook but rarely do I enjoy cooking in other people’s kitchens - that was not the case here. The entire home was well appointed and provided everything I could have needed. Additionally the kitchen was spotless and contained high end cookware, which made cooking there a joy. We took advantage of the outdoor griddle by making smash burgers. The dogs enjoyed back yard access to the water, which was a mini beach in low tide. My nosey chihuahua enjoyed the view of the neighborhood through many windows, although she was ultimately disappointed by how peaceful the street was as there weren’t a lot of passers by. I particularly loved the view - water viewed through both the front and back windows. The beds were very comfortable and literally every amenity that I forgot to pack was provided.

I was very happy with our stay. The pictures represented the house well but I got an even better feeling when we got inside. It was a great location for us. We went to my son's graduation at URI. Though it was around 30 minutes away we got there easily. There is a Dunkin Donuts and Honey Dew right around the corner so though Kelly had the house well stocked with coffee and dishware, we were able to grab some food items from there. We celebrated the graduation with dinner at Vetranos. Before leaving we took a nice ride by the water and beaches. If we were going for a summer vacation would consider staying there also. The house was charming and comfortable for myself, husband, parents and 3 adult sons. I would have enjoyed staying an extra day. Also Kelly and husband were very gracious to allow us to snack on a few items that they left in the fridge. I wish I had had the time to leave something for them. Thanks Kelly for being a great host!

Very well equipped beach house with spectacular 360 degrees views. House has just about everything you could need.

The property was as described except that the picture of the day bed stated there is 2 beds so I expected a trundle pull out which there was not. It was not a problem for our group. It is close to so many things to do and the property was very clean and comfortable. I would not stay here again only because sheets and towels are not provided and that is not something I want to do again. It is a lovely quiet property and truly enjoyable

We can't thank Liz enough for her patience with our stay. It was a long time in the works! The home was wonderful for our long weekend, two couples and our elderly mother felt right at home. We highly recommend this property!

From the charm and spaciousness of the house, to the included beach pass and gear, and the grill equipment, it is safe to say that we built some awesome core memories at Nicole’s beautiful and super cozy home. On top of that The beaches, restaurants and people were all quality! Can’t genuinely recommend enough. She was amazing as a host and was always there for us with any questions or concerns. It honestly felt like a home away from home (which is rare) and I truly look forward to the next opportunity I get to coordinate some time out on Charlestown at her property.

We rented Kathi's place for our girls trip to Newport! It was plenty big and spacious to comfortably accommodate our group of 5. The best part is the prime location! Couldn't have asked for a better one - the Bodhi spa is right across the street, good restaurants that we could just walk to, plenty of shopping on the street. Kathi was always very responsive and even gave us early check-in, which we truly appreciated. Having free parking is a bonus on Thames St, you know if you have ever been to Newport! Overall we all had a fabulous time. Thanks Kathi.

We had a great time at Julie’s place. Would love to visit again…perhaps in the Fall. Loved the balcony overlooking the Sound. Julie was very responsive to my questions. She got back to me immediately. I would highly recommend Julie’s home!

Just had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place! The place was impeccably clean, and Robert was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our visit. While the manor has a charmingly vintage vibe and could use a bit of modernization, we truly enjoyed our time there. The warmth of the atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. We recommend for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

This was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend in Montauk. We were so close to everything which made it very convenient. The room was perfect and loved the clothing rack perk! Everything was clean and loved the skylights in the unit and the patio overlooking the water. 10/10 woud definitely stay here again!
