Michael was the best host I’ve ever had! He’s so kind, friendly and extremely responsive. If I needed anything at all, he’d respond to my messages within minutes. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. The home was beautiful and clean. We cooked several meals throughout our stay and didn’t feel like anything was missing in the kitchen. The rooms were cozy, the bathrooms were very nice - the walk-out shower was a nice touch! The pool was the perfect temperature and very clean. The terrace is lovely as well, to sit in the sun or shade and relax. The location is very conveniently close to the beach - a quick drive if you have a car. There are shuttles that take you around the resorts, and they come around pretty frequently. The golf course is beautiful and so are the Bahía Príncipe resorts! We paid for a night pass once, and really enjoyed our time! 5 stars all around! Thank you Michael!

We spent 5 weeks in the unit. It was a perfect place for the 2 of us, quiet, clean and safe. The unit is equipped to cook basic meals, which we did almost every day. It was also appreciated to have a sun umbrella and 2 beach chairs as we went to the public beaches almost every day. The beach club on site is expensive in our view and we much preferred the option of the public beach with the gear provided. The bed was a bit hard to our liking but we got used to it pretty quickly, no problem. One comment on the balcony, it receives full sun from about 13:00 to sundown making it too hot to sit out for happy hour, but again, this is us... The communication with VMH was really good, very fast to respond to our questions, very much appreciated that. If you are looking for a nice condo in a nice gated community, this unit fits the bill. We had a wonderful family vacation in Akumal! The unit was perfect for us—traveling with our 9-year-old and 4-month-old baby, it had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pools and cooked great meals at the property. Also, the rooftop is perfect for sunset views! The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, and gave us a great recommendation for Beached Bikini, a nearby beach bar. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway!

This trip was our second at the Terrazas complex. The suite was as described with comfortable beds, great kitchen, laundry, etc. The exterior yard and pools are fantastic. Within the gated community are many restaurants including a taco bar, pizza place, burger place, breakfast place as well as higher end restaurants. Explore your options. Beach club was very nice, great service and also live music on Sundays. There is also a market/store and farmers market. Talk to other people while at the pools as many stay for months and they are full of useful information. Hoping to get back again next year.
