Very well thought through place for every detail, with a mix of 70s wood style and some higher tech upgrades like the main bathroom mirror with light and anti fog, or sensor lights. Kate was very responsive and accommodating for the 1 baby & 1 toddler we asked for. The place was stocked with all necessary items especially in the kitchen with appliances and cutlery, coffee, tea. There were 2 hairdryers, nice shampoo and conditioner, shower gel.

Well-maintained house, spotless upon arrival, great view of the area from the kitchen. Ice machine was a great touch especially with a bunch of people in the house! Would definitely come back!

Travis' place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Eight of us stayed in the house and there were enough beds that each of us could have our own place to sleep. The three full bathrooms with showers also came in handy between the eight of us. The house is huge and gorgeous and was very clean. Plenty of amenities to keep you busy while you're at the house. We utilized the pool, hot tub, and fire pit every day. The location is wonderful and peaceful, and there are tons of places to visit nearby. Travis was quick to respond if we had questions and quickly solved an issue that arose. If we find ourselves back in Sawyer we'll definitely be staying at Travis' place again.

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

This was a beautiful place to stay. We swam in the pool on a cool day but the pool was heated and very enjoyable. We also enjoyed the hot tub everyday and the walk to the beach was a nice short walk to the end of the paved road. Had a couple questions during our stay and the host reaponded quickly. A nice place to stay this time of year if you’re looking for a place to relax!

The location was so peaceful and close to everything (10 mins from the dunes). The house was comfy and had everything you could possibly need. Melissa thought of everything! The pool.. OMG the best! The heater made the water PERFECT! Made it even more special that we could bring our dogs. The fully fenced yard was perfect. Will definitely be coming back.

I recently stayed with a few of my girlfriends for the weekend here. My friends and I absolutely loved this place. It was in a picturesque setting, and we loved how cozy it was. We especially enjoyed having the hot tub, the access to the public pool with clubhouse, and being able to walk to the beach to see the sunsets. We were able to enjoy a fire every night within the fire pit and loved being near the woods and the pond. Kristen was extremely responsive and a great host. My girlfriends and I would definitely stay again. We absolutely loved it here! Location is perfect for visiting lots of restaurants, wineries, and enjoying the best of Southwest Michigan.

We had an amazing stay to celebrate a milestone birthday with my extended family! The house comfortably fit 4 families and a labradoodle and was excellent for the 5 kiddos. The heated pool and hot tub were fantastic for cooler than expected temperatures Memorial Day weekend and kept the kids entertained. We opted to cook and grill at the house and had everything we needed. The house is also super close to the beautiful New Buffalo beach. We will be back!

Quaint, peaceful, perfect for a couple, overlooking a gorgeous lake. 10 mins drive to downtown. Great WiFi and thankfully no TV. Loved every minute. All amenities included. Would like to stay again.

This is a beautiful home. Looks just like the pictures. It’s in a great area. Right next to fairgrounds and the square. I highly recommend staying here. Sarah was very responsive and helpful.

Simply beautiful! My daughter ( 7 year old) and my goddaughter ( 5 year old) enjoyed themselves! We loved the layout, beautiful scenery, spacious rooms, the updated amenities, the spa bathtub and the outdoor patio swing is amazing! This house is somewhere you can relax and rewind, enjoy yourself and feel safe at! Angie, is the best! I recommend you stay at Angie’s beach house! You will love this house!!!!!!

I had a great stay at Benjamin’s property! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Benjamin was a wonderful host—very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Quick visit for us. We were in town for a wedding in Frankfort, and simply needed a place that allowed dogs near the reception, and Vee's place was an excellent fit for the quick visit. Clean, private, easy to find - and if you're visiting the south burbs or even the city, this is easy a 5-star spot. Honestly, I hadn't been to Steger in quite some time, and yeah, it's still a quiet, cozy spot so that was great. I'd absolutely book Vee's place again - thanks for hosting us!

This home was a great place, lots of space for us to spend time and the view of the river was gorgeous. My kids felt right at home and while the neighbor houses are really close it was still quite private. Not walking distance to the town but we were able to take a long walk down the road without much traffic and it was beautiful. Lots of board games my kids enjoyed playing and was so nice that snacks were provided. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Was great to shoot a game or 2 of pool after a long day of visiting family and friends. Very comfortable.

Todd’s place truly felt like home for my family of five. The space was generous and well laid out, giving us all the room we needed to live comfortably. We especially loved the welcoming neighborhood vibe—it was peaceful, friendly, and felt safe. We liked his place so much that it quickly became a home away from home for us.

We had an incredible stay at Cathy’s home for a family birthday weekend. The house was spotless—truly one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever seen—and stocked with every amenity you could think of. Cathy added so many thoughtful touches, and the space had games and activities for all ages - really, the thoughtful little touches made the stay feel so personal and welcoming! The home itself was in amazing shape; everything felt brand new. The outdoor space was peaceful and relaxing with a fire pit, plenty of seating, and beautiful river views. You can tell a lot of care goes into maintaining this home—it was the perfect balance of comfort and style. Cathy was also a fantastic host: kind, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful. The house was wonderful, incredibly clean, and offered a lot of small amenities.

This was a comfortable place for an overnight stay. Plenty of beds. Internet was good. Very thoughtful amenities, such as a steamer for clothes and an ice maker. You can tell Mari put a lot of thought into what was provided. Very kid friendly place. We appreciated our host!

Michael has a great place that is very close to the Indiana Dunes. His directions for how to find the house were easy to follow. It was perfect place to be with my small dog and husband for a weekend away. It had everything you might need for meals in, spaces were well cleaned and well taken care of. We appreciated the small touches that were available to us. The train noise that was mentioned in previous reviews is not noticeable unless you’re outside. I don’t think we heard it at all indoors.
