Thank you Pippa and Bradley for making our 2025 New Year magical. The cottage is lovely and met our needs perfectly. However the best thing about this cottage is the location. We absolutely loved the solitude and peacefulness, hopefully not too disturbed by us. Would highly recommend this cottage if peace and quiet is what you are after. We should also add that despite staying over New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day Pippa and Bradley were awesome hosts who made us feel really welcome and properly looked after. Thank you again for making our stay so wonderful.

We had a great stay at Richard's place. A great size for a family get together with enough space for us to be together but also quiet areas available if needed. Perfect location next to the river with beautiful countryside on the doorstep. Would love to return.

The silo is fantastic much better in real life than the photos. Much more spacious in real life. A real luxurious place to stay. 100% privacy and respect given at all time. Linda was so helpful and also let us know she was only a call away. She even popped up to help my now wife into her wedding dress so I couldn't see it until she was ready. Linda is so helpful and cheerful and made us feel so welcome. Any couples wanting to get married at Gretna Green this is the ideal spot. The views are idyllic and calming and peaceful. Hot tub easy to use. Everything provided that you could possibly need. Everything is spotlessly clean and of high quality. If we could give it 100 out of 10 we certainly would.
