This is one of the most well thought out homes I’ve ever stayed at globally. The home is stunning and so well designed, even more beautiful than the photos. We loved how the pool was next to the master bedroom. This home has everything you need and more. Would love to stay agin!

My 2 colleagues and myself stayed here for a total of 8 nights as we were in town for a conference. It was brilliant and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Oceanside and this property .

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

Had a great Time. House is beautiful and the view was outstanding. We loved listening to and seeing the wildlife and birds. The Beds were very comfortable. The Kitchen was well supplied, plenty of dish ware, cups, bowls etc. The Pool table kept us all entertained. We loved having a TV in every room, the 83 in was nice and big. Plenty of seating for meals and for watching TV. The Pool was nice and big, and spa seat us all and got plenty warm enough was a little hard to get in and out of the Pool and Spa with no rails but otherwise great, even saw the owl fly into his home. Overall Fantastic defiantly a 5 Star

Amazing experience. Vi’s place was homey beyond expectation. My wife was very impressed with how available everything was especially in the kitchen because we are a family of 6 and always eating out would have not been cost effective. We felt right at home. My wife especially loved the complementary fruits, water, and treats. The kids rooms were packed with toys and books they could read and play with in their spare time which was amazing. The living room was filled with board games for the entire family. The garage also had amazing games for the entire family with foldable chairs and equipment for the beach and camping. There was so much to do in the house that staying in was not in the slightest boring. The entire family enjoyed the pool and the spa and had an amazing time especially on the days we stayed in. I certainly would be booking Vi’s place again anytime we are in San Diego.

We had a fantastic time! The property was beautiful. Everything was exactly as described and just like the photos. The gorgeous view was an added surprise. The house is private and very close to everything! Daniel was always quick to respond and very friendly!

We canceled our plan to go to the zoo because my kids love this place so much—they just want to stay here and play, and they don’t even want to leave.

All I can say is WOW! Where to begin! The place was PERFECT! Clean, spacious, great space and TOTALLY walkable to the beach. Jill was AMAZING! We got there about 4 hours before checkin. She was there when we got there. The cleaning people were about to clean the house. She invited us to unload our bags into one of the rooms that had already been cleaned. That was so helpful. We spent so much time at the beach, the house and the front yard. Absolutely loved the space. We will look to this house the next time we are in Carlsbad!

We had an excellent vacation in Carlsbad, thanks to Patti and Ken. The accommodations were perfect for our stay, and we found everything we needed for cooking, to enjoying the beach. The home is very well kept, and the furniture and bed were very comfortable. The beach is a short walk, and we could also enjoy the sun porch for watching the sunset. Must sees in Carlsbad are the Flower Fields and the nearby Harbor Fish Cafe has some of the best seafood we've had! We hope to get back here again sometime! If I could give our stay at Rick’s place 10 stars, I would! We had to back out of our original Airbnb at the last minute and were so grateful to be able to book this home. All the instructions and rules were very clear and made for a very smooth process to end a hectic day. The location is absolutely unmatched and the home is decorated very tastefully. There was plenty of room for our family and my 2-year-old niece had a blast on the beach, which was right across the street! All of the beach toys and extras Rick had available were the icing on the cake. We were even able to have a lovely family BBQ and relax by the fire put to unwind. Even though it is on a busy street, we didn’t feel like it caused any disturbances at all as all of the bedrooms were away from the street and we couldn’t hear the noise. Even our newborn baby slept through the night! This place truly saved our family vacation!

Lovely home very close to the beach and village shopping. Comfortable furniture. Nicely updated kitchen. Plenty of towels and beach equipment. Private yard. The front yard was a bit overgrown, but still very comfortable. The shower water pressure is really low. Took forever to take a shower. But the updated bathroom was very nice and open.

This house is wonderful and would stay again. My 3 children and my mother and myself fit perfectly. We walked to the beach daily. Lots of amenities at the house for the kids to play with. We slept comfortably. Really nice space!

This homes location was absolutely perfect, and our family appreciated and enjoyed the ample outdoor space so much. The home was quite clean upon check in, and I very much appreciated that it was ready early in the day for us. Denise and Genny were a pleasure to communicate with. To preface, we are a family consisting of 2 adults, a toddler, a newborn and a dog, so we very likely have more belongings than the standard travelers! However, a few items as a longer stay family that I would have appreciated as additions: a closet where I could hang clothing (the closet provided had shelving only), some spices / oils / basics in the kitchen, and a few additional pieces of furniture in the living area (think hooks for jackets, a shoe rack, a small credenza to place things on, etc.). These small details did not at all take away from the incredible experience we had at this home, and we would gladly come back if the opportunity presented.

First time at a Wander spot and it was so cozy! We were looking at hotels at first, but wanted to privacy of a home for our staycation. My pup enjoyed the backyard. We utilized the grill and it was an awesome amenity along with the jacuzzi. The driveway was nice to pull into for the home. It was central to a lot of things nearby!

We loved Anton’s house. Very clean and the house is fully stocked. It had everything we needed for a beach getaway, even boogie boards we could take to the beach. Easy 5 min drive from the beach and downtown. Anton was quick to respond too. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the Maple Beach House. Excellent location - very short walk to beach and nearby Carlsbad village restaurants. The front patio area was absolutely wonderful (and very clean). Great to sit and sip your morning coffee or enjoy a meal outside in the beautiful weather. The fire pit was so relaxing and the perfect end to each night. Inside the home is also very clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. Large capacity washer and dryer were also helpful when washing beach towels. Big thank you to host Rachel who was very kind and helpful! Hope to stay again and recommend highly to anyone considering this property!

We needed a home to stay in while work was being done on our home nearby. Little did we realize the flooding of our home would have such a silver lining. The home was welcoming and had everything we needed to feel like home - and then some!. We cooked, watched movies, ate al fresco most nights by the pool - which was the icing on the cake. The outdoor space was not only a pleasant surprise for us but also for our young german shepherd. It was literally an early summer vacation for us just 1 mile from home. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location and hosts were had good communication. Parking was readily available out front and check in and out was very easy.

10 and her partner were great at hosting us while we stayed in Carlsbad we enjoyed the view the walk to the beach the game room they went above and beyond by getting my child some snacks and a pizza so it would be there when we arrived this was amazing which was amazing when traveling with kids will be back to stay

I had a nice stay at Dries and Alex beautiful home. It’s very well taken care of, I hope future Airbnb people will take care of the home in the future . I am very allergic to scents and everything was unscented which was so nice. I felt very safe here. As you can see in the photos it’s decorated very nicely. I’m very grateful to the host for their kindness and having me at their beautiful home.
