House holiday rentals in Carlsbad

This is one of the most well thought out homes I’ve ever stayed at globally. The home is stunning and so well designed, even more beautiful than the photos. We loved how the pool was next to the master bedroom. This home has everything you need and more. Would love to stay agin!

This house was beautiful and the pool was amazing! Gabe was responsive and very friendly. check in was easy. The beds were so comfy, and everything was pristine. thank you again for hosting my family of 9 plus doggies! we will Def be returning soon! p.s. The pool heating was so worth it!

Had a great Time. House is beautiful and the view was outstanding. We loved listening to and seeing the wildlife and birds. The Beds were very comfortable. The Kitchen was well supplied, plenty of dish ware, cups, bowls etc. The Pool table kept us all entertained. We loved having a TV in every room, the 83 in was nice and big. Plenty of seating for meals and for watching TV. The Pool was nice and big, and spa seat us all and got plenty warm enough was a little hard to get in and out of the Pool and Spa with no rails but otherwise great, even saw the owl fly into his home. Overall Fantastic defiantly a 5 Star

Vi was an amazing host. My kids loved the house. Not only did they have the pool with plenty of pool toys but they also had board games and a closet of toys for them to play with as well. The hardest part was explaining to my kids we couldn't live there forever lol. The whole house was well stoked from cooking supplies to shampoo. Great location!

Daniel’s place was absolutely fantastic. The location was ideal for a bit of privacy but close to everything - and the view made it feel extra luxurious. The house itself had SO much space for our family and in-laws, we never felt cramped. Our favorite evening of the trip was cooking out on the grill while the kids swam for hours. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. I was pleasantly surprised with additional amenities I hadn’t expected such as complimentary beach items (chairs, umbrellas, beach blanket) along with a recommendation from Daniel on where to find the best beach :) On our trip, we attended a wedding in Oceanside, an angels game in Anaheim, and visited the San Diego zoo. It was easy to access all these locations from the house. We can’t wait to go back!

We canceled our plan to go to the zoo because my kids love this place so much—they just want to stay here and play, and they don’t even want to leave.

Our stay was nothing short of fantastic, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property lived up to its amazing reviews, offering a perfect setting for our family. We had a wonderful stay at Trevor and Heidi’s house! Everything was as described. The weather was a little too cool for the ocean, but perfect for the pool and hot tub! Also the neighborhood was lovely and quiet, but close to anything you might need during your stay. I would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself!

Rarely do we ever return to a place we've stayed at before because we just want to make new memories and be open to new things. This place has been the exception, we couldn't wait to come back! We stayed at the Blue Ocean Cottage in May of 2024 and had such a great time that we did it again May of 2025! The proximity to the beach, the village and the quiet neighborhood can't be beat. This has been the perfect place for our family to spend time together, making dinner and playing games. Beach is so close, it's easy to pop over anytime. Grandparents (my wife and I) loved the cottage out back where we could have some quiet time to ourselves. The kids (twenty somethings) and grandchild equally enjoyed have their "own" space in the main house. Property is only 15 minutes from Oceanside harbor where we went on a whale/dolphin watch, which I can't recommend enough. It's about 10 minute drive to Legoland with traffic. Wonderful family memories at the Blue Ocean Cottage!

We had a wonderful stay! Host is very responsive. The home is extremely well kept, clean, exactly as described and pictured in the photos! Very comfortable and they provided a pack n play and booster seat for our baby. Lovely backyard. The home is located in a nice neighborhood and nearby a grocery store & some restaurants. We would definitely book again!

Would 100% stay again. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. Drake did a great job providing local recommendations. Hope to visit again soon!

Deyao’s place was great. Location is wonderful and is about a 8-10 min drive from the pier. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with walking distance to a big park 2 houses down. My dog enjoyed his morning walks. Plenty of kids playing in the playground, basketball courts, and tennis courts. The home itself is a duplex and is shared with tenant. They are very respectful and the Gentleman that we met gave us some really good recommendations. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the day bed in the living room was cozy, the kitchen had everything we could need (organized and labeled) and the bed felt like it was from a hotel. I liked how you the home had 3 different entrances so you could still have your “side” of the lot to enjoy. Would recommend this place to stay at if you are in Oceanside. Thank you Deyao! (Try the Cali burrito from La Perla Tapatia if you want amazing authentic Mexican food down the street)

10 and her partner were great at hosting us while we stayed in Carlsbad we enjoyed the view the walk to the beach the game room they went above and beyond by getting my child some snacks and a pizza so it would be there when we arrived this was amazing which was amazing when traveling with kids will be back to stay

I had a nice stay at Dries and Alex beautiful home. It’s very well taken care of, I hope future Airbnb people will take care of the home in the future . I am very allergic to scents and everything was unscented which was so nice. I felt very safe here. As you can see in the photos it’s decorated very nicely. I’m very grateful to the host for their kindness and having me at their beautiful home.

I recently stayed at this beach house, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the stunning ocean views. The house itself was immaculate, nicely decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. I especially loved the deck where my family and I enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the sunrise. The bedrooms were also cozy and comfortable. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like coffee, snacks, and beach towels provided for our use. Casago management is also very responsive!

We absolutely loved this home! We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs over the years, and this is exactly the kind of place we’re always hoping to find. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made it easy for us to cook meals together—something we love to do as a family. And the fun didn’t stop there! From the ping pong table to the bikes to the giant chess game, there were so many things to keep all five of us (including three active teens!) entertained. Truly can’t recommend this place enough. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

The place was gorgeous & right across from the beach! You could open the sliding glass door and smell the sea air, hear the waves crashing, watch the surfers! I didn’t realize it’s only about an 8 minute walk directly north up the street to downtown Carlsbad Village. Very walkable! We walked to town for coffee, ate at restaurants, got spa treatments, and shopped! Carlsbad is a great little town! The back patio is lovely: we made s’mores over the tabletop fire and relaxed in the hot tub at night. The beds were soft & comfy. The bathrooms were nice & clean. Rain shower heads! Plenty of towels. Shampoo, conditioner & shower gel available. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed & had 2 fridges. I can’t say enough about how much we liked our stay.

Kristin’s place was a pleasant stay for us! The owners live on the property so they are able to assist with anything very quickly. For example, we were in need of a home tool, and they went out and bought it for us right away. Super responsive to any questions we had. Very good hospitality! The place itself was very clean and super trendy decorations! We loved it. Everything you need in the bathroom is there as well as everything you need in the kitchenette. The only thing is we would hear their dog bark from time to time but it didn’t bother us. Overall a nice stay!

Patrick and Sara‘s Home in Oceanside is an amazing place. The presentation and the pictures shows at least not the full potential of the site. Entrance was perfect, all well prepared. Kitchen perfectly equiped. Many towels, washing machine, bar, pool, grill, BBQ, perfectly in shape and Sara was many times just asking if all is great. It is for sure not cheap but it’s worse. I hope I have the opportunity to come back at some time. Enjoy and thanks to Patrick and Sara for sharing their home. BR Gerhard

This is our second time staying at this place. We will keep coming back! Very clean and in a quiet, private location on a quiet street. Beach is not very far away, and I love that I can actually park in the garage. The place is brand new and beautiful inside and the grand piano is a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone.

Robin was a great hostess. She was extremely responsive but we didn' really need to communicate with her ince we were checked in. The cottage was a beautiful little space that was perfect for my two older parents. The area was quiet, off set from the main street but still close enough (5-15mins) to groceries, shopping and the beach. The cottage has plenty of ameneties for your stay and 1 spot for parking.

Dan and Britt's listing was a beautifully furnished and an extremely clean and relaxing house with an ocean view! Their home was fully loaded with house amenities, including a completely stocked kitchen! They were very easy to communicate with and they made the stay by the ocean so relaxing, with their various board games provided, as well as puzzles! The highlight of our trip was sitting by the fire pit on the deck and drinking tea and hot coco, while talking and laughing for some great family time! This house has a great family room to enjoy everyones company, and it was the perfect size for three families! Thank you so much for Dan and Britt for a great stay!
