Tom is a great host and this location is close to everything. Best of all is the accommodation, itself. I knew we had booked a place with an Irish bar, but hadn’t realized it was an actual bar with a fun little history. Tom was helpful by having a keg of Guinness ready for us and even helped demonstrate a proper pour. A nice kitchen and comfortable beds made the stay as good as any we’ve experienced. We did have to contact him a time, or two, and he was quick to respond. Overall, a great experience.

Peaceful and beautiful environment, we had a great view from the dining area. Place was clean and equipped with sufficient amenities. Eilis was friendly and approachable. We had a wonderful stay!

This is a must for everyone loving peace and quiet. The marina is secluded and used mostly by locals to keep their boats there, so there is no noise from the tourists. Boat is lovely and comfortable, plenty of sitting and comfy beds. Thomas is super friendly and helpful, we wished we could stay one more night but had to go to the next destination. An excellent stay! This was a great home base while visiting the Skelligs - a quiet spot but still an easy walk into Cahersiveen, and a short drive to Portmagee where most of the boats leave from. The space was very clean and just as described. The unit is downstairs from a larger home, but felt fully separate and I didn’t hear a peep from anyone else in the building. Having both laundry and the kitchen was convenient - both worked well and were nicely stocked. John was also quickly responsive to any questions. Overall, no complaints at all and highly recommend a stay here if in the area!
