Monthly Rentals in Canyon

Perfect forest retreat! Lovely, spacious home with a Northwoods vibe. We loved the walking trails on the property, and we loved bringing our dog! Travel to Duluth was pretty easy, and we loved making s’mores around the fire pit. It was a perfect fall vacation spot for our family of six — plus our sweet pup! We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Valerie's cabins. We loved the location, which is close to Sax Zim Bog and the Wilbert Cafe. The main cabin and additional cabin were perfect for our group of three birders. The kitchen was big with lots of amenities and the heat worked great. We are all from Florida and were warm and toasty, even with temps below zero. The wood stove was a nice touch and added ambience. I would highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again on my next visit.

I stayed here with my 6 year old son who was in his glory amongst the chickens! He loved the task of rounding up chickens who had escaped the pen and tossing them back in. He especially loved gathering eggs in the morning. Lucie and Jason were friendly and helpful. I loved that we were able to make a bonfire in the evening. We will definitively be planning a trip back!

Absolutely beautiful property and kind and thoughtful host! Sarah made the experience easy and memorable. The peace and serenity here are overflowing. The cabin is cozy and well-stocked. The screen porch is a great addition. And the area with the swing and fireplace provide the perfect place to start and end your day! We'll definitely be visiting, again!
