Lake house holiday rentals in Canyon Lake

My friend and I visited to work on our creative projects-an artist residency for a long weekend. It was the perfect setting. The space was clean, spacious, and private. We loved cooking in the kitchen and working in the common area. The patio was perfect. I highly recommend the space.

Me and some girl friends had a girls trip to Canyon Lake and stayed here. It was a beautiful home in a peaceful setting. We enjoyed coffee with the deer each morning. The beds were comfy and the linen's we're soft. Our hosts, we're very helpful and responded quickly to any issueswe had.We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again in the future.

This house was such a great, quiet, house on the lake. Plenty of amenities available between Kayaks, Floats, and life jackets, to a fully furnished home. If you bring your boat to tie up to the dock, be sure to bring plenty of fenders. The dock is very nice, but being on Lake Austin (narrow river) there are many surfers passing close by. The lake level is near constant year round, but is a very active lake. Would come back here in a heartbeat!!

This was our second stay here and it's safe to say, it's going to become a tradition. My family looks forward to spending time in the home together than at the lake. and with my ever expanding family, there's plenty of room here. Bridgette does a wonderful job of making sure we feel at home. There are a lot of extras provided you dont think about until you get there. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, BBQ utensils, plates and silverware. Theres corn hole, an outdoor sound system, a fire pit, rocking chairs.Theres plenty of linens, blankets and pillows for all and all very clean. I can go on and on. Basically, you can arrive and unpack in minutes and be ready to enjoy the place. And if you need anything, Bridgette is very responsive and ready to remedy the situation.

Amazing location not too far from local activities. The hot tub was my favorite part great place to socialize right after dinner. Very mindful that you had bug repellant available for hanging out outside we were able to make the most of it.

My friends and I do a river trip every year and decided to stay a little further so we could have more privacy. We had a blast, so many memories were made! See you next year Marilyn!😇

This house is special. I travel full time, so I stay at a LOT of different places and this one will forever stand out as one of my favorites. It has this comfort and familiarity about it that made it so easy to settle in. Sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the birds and drinking my coffee was perfection.

This was such a great experience from start to finish! Debbie and Scott were excellent hosts, the house was absolutely beautiful, and the pictures cannot do the house and lake view justice! We enjoyed the lake access and awimming as well, and hope to come back to Waters-Edge soon! Thanks for everything!

Beautiful home with impeccable decoration. Place was excatly as described. Elizabeth and Henry were very receptive. Very clear communication. Unfortunately we had two things that could have made things better. Washer had some technical issue and we couldn't use it. Gas Grill was very drity, we couldn't use it. We had prepared many things to cook over Grill but have to use oven instead. Hope small things could be fixed. Thank you Srini

Our trip was wonderful! The place was lovely and the few issues we did have were addressed quickly. We did bring a sound machine and ear plugs just to be proactive and the sound machine was a lifesaver at night to drown out loud upstairs neighbors, but that was a minor issue when the trade off was getting to walk to Barton springs every morning 3 minutes away. We loved the natural light and enjoyed the ac as well!

We had the best MDW at Marys house! If you're contemplating a stay here then jump on it! Her home is so gorgeous, the layout was perfect for 2 families, and the porch and view were nothing short of amazing! Loved that we had access to her garage ans also that the house is on a culdesac. We walked the street several times (wowzer to the hills) and met her neighbor who was super sweet - he gave our kids corn to feed the deer (she provided that as well - the kids had 11 deer at one point) and he gave them permission to use trampoline. Older kids (14, 11 and 9) made the trek down to water the first night there and we did it as a group another time, was doable while backpacking our 2 year old. Canyon Lake (although yes, low which is devistating and i will be praying for it to make a comeback) is just something else! We did comal park one day (its a job to hike down but worth it) and rented a pontoon another - both great experiences. Great stay and would def return!

The location was in a great area and was extremely clean upon checking in. The house is a very short walk from the water and had a very nice view that we enjoyed. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay here while we were having some warranty repairs on our home- Bera was very welcoming and helpful, quick to communicate, and the house was perfect for us: clean, well stocked and cozy! Bera went above and beyond and we truly appreciate everything she did! Highly recommend!!

Without a doubt the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in as far as living up to the description. You can really tell they have thought of everything for their guests and little details really went a long way here. It said that we could have seen deer and they might let us feed them. As soon as we got there they were at the fence! The property is beautiful and relaxing and the deer were there the whole time. They really do eat out of your hands! I can't say enough great things about this place. 10/10 recommend!

The casita and property were beautiful and peaceful. It was well stocked and clean. Perfect for our getaway and close enough to everything to not have to go far for necessities. The host's were amazing and so helpful with any questions we had.

Absolutely loved our stay at La Paz. The property is beautiful and the hosts are wonderful - will definitely stay again! Location is great - close to downtown and everything happening but far enough away to have relaxing peaceful mornings/ evenings. We loved the location - and the neighborhood is great for morning runs or walks. Saw lots of wildlife and watched a storm roll in on the covered patio. Inside the house is amazing - great layout, great kitchen and well stocked. comfortable furniture.

Like a really nice hotel. Everything was spotless and well staged throughout the house without a lot of clutter to move to be able to settle in in the bedrooms and bathrooms quickly. Comfortable furniture and bedding was a big plus.

We had a fantastic weekend at this house! The home is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was working perfectly — air conditioning, hot water, electricity, all utilities were in great shape. What really stood out was how well-equipped the house is. Literally everything you can think of for a weekend near the lake is there. From practical touches like mosquito repellent placed by the picnic table, a hose to rinse your feet, to extra chairs and fun games to enjoy with family or friends — everything was thoughtfully arranged. Although the lake is currently at a low level due to dry season, we still had a great time. You can reach the lake on foot by a short trail (about 5 minutes from the house), or drive 5min to one of the nearby parks with easier access and more infrastructure. Tim, the host, was very responsive, helpful, and friendly throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed the house and would absolutely come back in the future. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay! Michelle was a great host! Very responsive and very nice. The house had plenty of space for 5 and was comfortable and clean. It was fun for the family to use the ping pong table during down time when we were home resting from all the fun things to do in the area and the great restaurants. We highly recommend staying at this location as it is conveniently close to tubing, a lake, Gruene, New Braunfels, San Marcus, Wimberly, and Blanco! There are several swimming holes close by as well. A great relaxing family getaway location! We will definitely go back and would stay at this house again! Thank you, Michelle for being a great host!

Family stay was comfortable and the deer nearby were a big hit. Lots of natural beauty and host was a proactive communicator for checkin.

The house was in a great location. We particularly enjoyed the hottub, community swimming pool, proximity to Gruene, and the peaceful neighborhood. Will definitely go back soon.

Stayed here for my birthday with a group of 16 and it was exactly what we needed. The house was super spacious, clean, and had everything set up for us—extra towels, kitchen stuff, plenty of beds and bathrooms… it was all ready when we walked in. We didn’t even need to reach out to the host because everything was already taken care of, which made things stress-free and smooth from the start. The space was perfect for hanging out, getting ready together, and just having a good time all weekend. If you’re planning a birthday trip or a group getaway, this place is solid. Would definitely book again!

This was our second time to stay at Steve and Kaleigh’s place. We have thoroughly enjoyed both stays. Everything was as listed in the ad.
