Holiday rentals with lake access in Canal du Midi

Our stay at Erika and Laurent's house was absolutely wonderful. The property is a real gem, perfectly renovated, where the charm of the old is combined with all the modern amenities. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the terrace overlooking the Saint Martin bell tower is simply spectacular. In addition, the location is ideal for exploring the charming surroundings of Sorèze and the Occitania region. Laurent and Erika were very attentive and kind hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Definitely an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone! Thank you for everything!

We had a great stay in this very nice house, located in the middle of nature—very calm and peaceful. The check-in was easy with a concierge system from the owner (they also manage other houses in the area). The house is big and comfortable, with a large kitchen and living room. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The decoration is like a small museum, full of beautiful objects from local shops and galleries, mixed with modern comfort. Beds are large and very comfortable. Everything is provided: bed linen, towels, and even bathrobes. The amenities are excellent: hot tub with jets, outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, and gas barbecue. The owners answered very quickly when we had questions.

Our stay at Sylvie and Patrick's house went very well! Their welcome was super friendly. The house is really very nice as well as the very peaceful environment. I recommend ++.

We absolutely loved our stay at Chateaux de Jean. It was a heavenly 4 days on this beautiful estate and the accommodation has everything we needed. It was a dream come true to stay in a chateaux in France.

Very warm and tastefully decorated cottage. Perfect layout for couples alone or with a child. Large quiet garden with lots of animals, Thanks to Laurent for taking our son to feed the rabbits and picking up the eggs in the chicken coop, he was absolutely delighted!!!! Very clear and detailed instructions for a simple and self check-in, beds made on arrival the best! Thank you and see you soon!!!

We spent a few days with our pets and were great. we were greeted phenomenal by explaining the amenities of the accommodation perfectly. Laurence and Nathalie are very kind and predisposed. The accommodation is spectacular, located in a very quiet area, you can breathe art and design everywhere. Pets also enjoyed the space. We were very comfortable, too bad we were only able to stay 4 days.

We were kindly welcomed by Aurélien who showed us the house and advised us on activities to do in the area. The house is very cute, very clean and well-equipped. The place is beautiful and quiet, ideal for resting. I recommend it!!

The house had recently been refurbished to a very high standard. We felt very welcome there, with excellent stocks of essential supplies. We would not hesitate to book another stay there.

Great find, loved our stay with the family for a few days. Situated in very small village with beautiful surroundings. House was charming and came with all amenities. Sébastien was responsive and very helpful.

Stunning property in beautiful isolation, with woodland, wild garden areas and babbling stream - but close to pretty small villages and Carcassonne only 1/2 hour away with large supermarkets for a “big” shop. Very easy to settle in to a very relaxing holiday. Our host has a family house renovated sympathetically full of character and personal effects. 3 good sized bedrooms, though only one toilet on the bedroom floor. Huge living room with fantastic views - ditto the kitchen, which is well stocked. We met Guillaume whilst mowing his vast area of grass - absolutely charming and he was very helpful and responsive throughout. Some toys, cot and a stair gate for our toddler grandson! We absolutely loved it - a joy and a privilege to experience this unique property. PS NOT for people with mobility problems. We absolutely loved it!

A very nice small accommodation with an independent exterior with nice views of the meadows and the lake. The apartment is large (large bedroom and beautiful bathroom), very well equipped (especially the kitchen) and really quiet (it is located outside the hamlet of Pareloup). The hosts are friendly, welcoming, very accommodating and with good advice (especially for restaurants😀). A good place to rest.

An exceptional stay! The gite is so well set up from the glorious setting and peaceful atmosphere to the fast wifi, underfloor heating, modern interior, large comfortable bed and luxurious bedding. It is a little hidden gem, surrounded by beautiful countryside and our hosts were beyond amenable and welcoming. Colin’s incredible art just creates a wonderful atmosphere. Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we have had in a long time! Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this lovely gite in Aragon.

Beautiful house with a very fine kitchen floor. I discover I love to have colour about me. The balcony was perfect, catching the afternoon and evening sun (with a sun umbrella that was easy to use). The kitchen was well-equipped, with sharp knives (unusually for airbnb). Comfortable beds and quiet location. Wildlife in the surrounding salt-flats and lagoons was perhaps depleted (algal growth from pollution?) but it was wonderful to see flamingoes, pelicans and black-winged stilts. Great for walking, cycling and wonderful swimming in the far lagoon which is twice as salty as the sea. The village centre was humming with bars and a useful shop; it all felt very French.
