"Perfect" is the only word that comes to mind for Anna's place. Such a serene location and perfect for a family. The view is just spectacular. We felt so at home and loved sitting out in the yard and by the pool. Anna provided us with a list of so many amazing things to do/see near and far. A must do is the pasta making with Vilma at the house-the most memorable and delicious meal from our trip! Can't wait to go back there to live more of the Tuscan life and enjoy the most beautiful view. Thank you, Anna, for hosting such a gem!

Tutto perfetto, luogo super accogliente e bellissimo. Isabella e la sua famiglia ci ha accolti al meglio e soddisfatto tutte le nostre richieste durante la nostra GTE dell'elba. Die Kommunikation vor unserer Anreise war sehr gut, die Gastgeberin hat sehr schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und sich selbst auch proaktiv bei uns gemeldet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und durften sogar 1h früher einchecken. Uns wurde alles in und um das Haus gezeigt. Das Haus und der Garten + Pool waren sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern waren wichtig und haben auch gut funktioniert. In der Küche findet man alles was man benötigt. Der Garten ist schön groß und top gepflegt. Auch der große Pool mit dem wunderschönen Ausblick hat uns begeistert. Die Gastgeber, die ca. 50m neben an wohnen, haben sich jeden morgen um den Pool gekümmert und geprüft ob dort alles okay ist. Die Anfahrt war auch relativ einfach. Ca. 30 Minuten Autofahrt zum Haus gibt es einen großen Coop Supermarkt, wo wir einkaufen waren. Das Meer ist auch nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden und haben unseren Urlaub als 6 Personen Gruppe voll genossen!

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

Lovely house in a beautiful area. Pool was used a lot as the weather was hot. Andrea was very responsive and helped out with some great local suggestions. We had a very enjoyable time and had everything we needed. Slept so well, beds were super comfortable!

It gave us exactly what we needed, a private and calm place to relax with a beautiful view, lots of space by the pool, around the garden, and if we wanted to be on our own, in our separate space. The hosts were really friendly and had great suggestions for places to go and always were responsive in case we needed anything, but they also gave us the space we needed – just what we were looking for. We hebben genoten van het geweldige huis van Maria. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Maria en haar familie, waar we verwelkomt werden met een fles wijn en lekkere taart. We waren met 6 volwassenen. Er is meer dan voldoende ruimte. Fijn dat iedere slaapkamer voorzien is van een eigen badkamer. Het is een prachtig huis in een mooie omgeving met een heerlijk zwembad tussen de olijfbomen en het is echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Erg fijn is ook de oplader voor de elektrische auto. We haalden elke morgen vers brood bij de plaatselijke bakker in het dorpje 5 minuten rijden met de auto. Goede uitvalsbasis voor de mooie steden zoals Lucca, Siena, Florence. Ook het strand is prima te doen. We hebben ons zeer thuis gevoeld. Maria en familie, bedankt voor de geweldige tijd in jullie mooie huis.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen - die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit inmitten idyllischer Natur war genau so wie beschrieben. Das Haus ist liebevoll und hochwertig ausgestattet, Co-Gastgeberin Eva freundlich, super erreichbar und top zuverlässig. Etwas geschockt waren wir von der seeeehr steilen, kurvigen und ruppigen Zufahrtsstraße. Gerne wieder

Begrüssung, Gastfreundschaft, Kommunikation, Aussicht, Terrasse, Parkplatz alles perfekt! Kleinigkeiten, wie Kalk am Wasserhahn, unbequemes Sofa im Wohnzimmer könnten verbessert weden. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt!

This apartment was so beautiful and the views were even better. We had an amazing stay here as our base for exploring Tuscany - visiting the Val d’Orcia and the thermal baths were a highlight! Lucia and Marco met us on arrival and were extremely friendly and gave us plenty of advice and places to visit. There was an issue with the boiler but Lucia was straight on it and it was fixed by the time we were home for the day. Thank you so much!

Podczas całego naszego wyjazdu do Włoch spaliśmy w kilku miejscach. W oparciu o same zdjęcia zdecydowaliśmy, że w Castagneto Carducci zostaniemy najdłużej. Dlaczego? To jeszcze Toskania, a jednoczenie położona niemal nad samym brzegiem morza. Na zdjęciach bardzo spodobał nam się dom. I taki wybór był strzałem w dziesiątkę. Każde inne miejsce, w którym byliśmy nie zrobiło na nas takiego wrażenia. Od początku: -Ranieri to perfekcyjny gospodarz. Zadba o każdy szczegół, przekaże istotną wiedzę, interesuję się gośćmi. -Dom, w który spaliśmy to spełnienie marzeń o spaniu w typowo Toskańskim domku. Wszystko dopasowane do siebie ze smakiem i gustem. Mega klimat tego miejsca. Sprzęty świeże, wszystko sprawne. Bez jednego minusa! Ogród dookoła domu jest bardzo zadbany, codziennie podlewany. -Okolica: pyszne jedzenie, mnóstwo winnic, mnóstwo plantacji oliwek dookoła i bliskość morza oraz wielu cudownych plaż. W pobliskim mieście załatwimy wszystko (jest nawet myjnia samochodowa i pralnia)

Have a great time here, the view is very nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The room has everything we needed (and more), very clean, well set up and it is exactly as the advertised picture. And also Elettra and Irene are such great host, they are friendly and really helpful.

Onwijs fijn appartement dat goed koel blijft tijdens warme dagen. Uitzicht vanaf het prive terras was adembenemend en het appartement was smetteloos schoon. Alles behalve een weegschaal om de koffer te wegen was aanwezig, echter die was binnen een half uur geleend van de ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaresse (die overigens olijfolie en honing van eigen kweek aanbiedt).

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Hügel der Toskana, das Meer und die Inseln ist unbezahlbar! Ein besonderes Erlebnis ist es, wenn Roccos Taubenschwarm seine Kreise dicht übers Häuschen zieht. Nachts sieht man auf der Wiese hinterm Haus Glühwürmchen - magisch! Wir haben auch die Gelegenheit genossen, an einem Dinner auf der Toscani Ranch teilzunehmen. Es war eine sehr herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre! Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Casale Marittimo ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und zu Recht als eins der schönsten Dörfer Italiens ausgezeichnet. Wir haben außerdem Ausflüge nach San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florenz und bis hinunter zu den Thermen von Saturnia und dem Giardino dei Tarocchi gemacht. Das Meer ist nur 15 Autominuten entfernt. Der Pinienwald am Strand von Cecina ist sehenswert, genau wie der Torre de Bibbone. Grundausstattung für die Küche muss man mitbringen, wir empfehlen das leckere Olivenöl von Rocco zu beziehen! Außergewöhnlich schöne, mit viel Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtete Wohnung in einer wunderschönen, gepflegten Anlage! Der schöne, gepflegte Pool ist das i-Tüpfelchen, das die Anlage perfekt macht. Wir haben das viergängige Dinner unter Sternen sehr genossen, in der Umgebung gibt es aber auch so viele gute Restaurants, dass man gar nicht alle ausprobieren kann. Chiara und Stefano sind die perfekten Gastgeber, von ihnen kann man viel Interessantes erfahren! Sie legen auch viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit, die Anlage ist autark und im zugehörigen Weingut werden nur Bio-Weine produziert.

Had a great stay at Michele's! The apartment is very newly renovated and has everything you need. We visited during the off-season so we were grateful for the stove providing us warmth in the evenings. Michele was very friendly and helpful, being flexible with our check in and check out times. The apartment is open, except for the bathroom but we made it work just fine. Rio is a nice and quiet little town with a beautiful view and perfect to chill out and relax. Its not far from the ocean either, so with a short drive you will be at the beach. All in all a great place :)

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

Absolutely gorgeous property with country side view and a cozy outdoor area, plus two friendly black cats! Louise was the perfect host: friendly, generous, attentive, she even offered to help us out when we had a setback that was totally unrelated to our stay at her property. Highly recommend to any traveller seeking an idyllic stay in the Tuscan countryside!

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf die Toskana und das Meer. Man fühlt sich als wäre man allein in der Toskana da man keine direkten Nachbarn hat. Man muss zwar auf Schotterwegen zum Haus fahren uns hat das nicht gestört und es lohnt sich. Paola war einer super Gastgeberin und immer gut zu erreichen. Auch für unseren zwei Hunde war es ein super Aufenthalt.

Alloggiare in questo appartamento è stato meraviglioso. Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo passato due notti immersi nella campagna toscana in un piccolo appartamento accogliente, pulitissimo e fornito di tutto il necessario. Il giardino è bellissimo, ricco di alberi da frutto e gatti dolcissimi che arricchiscono il soggiorno. Torneremo presto a trovare Sheila nella sua carinissima casa in campagna.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso nella vostra splendida casa! La zona è molto tranquilla e la proprietà è completamente recintata, il che la rende ideale per il nostro cane. La casa è perfettamente attrezzata e molto pulita. Ci è piaciuto molto trascorrere le serate sulla spaziosa terrazza e nel lounge. La stazione di ricarica gratuita per la nostra auto elettrica è stata un extra davvero generoso e pratico. Francesco e la tua famiglia sono stati incredibilmente attenti e amichevoli. Si percepisce subito la calda atmosfera e la vostra ospitalità. Consiglio vivamente la vostra casa e voi come Padrone di casa. Grazie Mille per tutto.

Tommaso was very responsive and fantastic! Check in was a breeze. The pool was great. Overall, it was a great stay for our trip in Tuscany!
