Monthly Rentals in Callas

I can't say enough about Diane's beautiful apartment in the simply magical town of Claviers. The apartment itself has everything you would need from a stay of a few days to an entire month (which we hope to do one day). From a lovely, well stocked kitchen to great beds and linens to a washer (a rarity in Europe from our experience) it was ideal for two of us but would have easily accommodated four people in the two bedrooms. The village of Clavier itself is something out of a storybook with the locals all saying "Bonjour" wherever you go and putting up with our horrible French with kindness and always a helpful recommendation. The ease of communication and check-in were great with fast responses both on the App and via text whenever we had a question. We can't wait to return and thank you Diane for introducing us to this amazing place!

Sometimes it's a pity to share your favorite locations in the fear that it will be hard to get a date later, and we wish to come back here again. But that it's worth sharing, we recommend relaxing with Flavien and Lydie:) Not only for the beautiful house, its interiors, and the kindness with which it was restored, but also the hospitality of the hosts. We got a list of the best restaurants in the area (because although the town is small, there are really many), and when we needed help from a veterinarian for our dog, Flavien and Lydie immediately gave us the help we needed. This is an absolutely gorgeous villa - very rustic in external appearance, and modern and stylish inside. Well maintained, and very well thought through, with everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday. Lots of really good touches such as silent fans over the beds, as well as the air con; mesh insect screens at most windows so you could have the windows open; Romain had provided some kitchen basics for us on arrival, including some local foods and drinks which was much appreciated; lots of seating areas outside to take advantage of the sun or shade at different times of the day; lovely interesting garden; we were a family group of 5 and each bedroom was self-contained with its own bathroom, so worked really well and gave everyone their own space and privacy; absolutely gorgeous, big, pool - don't be put off by the fact that it is saltwater, you barely notice it, not like the sea!! Any downsides? You really do need a car as it's just a bit too far to walk to the village.

We spent two perfect days in the cottage! Quiet & peaceful place. The coolness of the shade and the river is a little with the strong heat. The jacuzzi option is great! The hosts are very friendly and communicative. Thank you for hosting us. We will be happy to come back to relax in peace again!
