Monthly Rentals in Calcutt

This was an amazing stay. I booked and stayed here for my boyfriends 21st birthday, and Jane was very accommodating when I asked for a few decorations to be put up. The location was perfect, very convenient and close to everything but also private. The cottage was clean and cosy, with ample cooking amenities and items to make us feel at home. A lovely selection of food bits were left for us checking in, and clear instructions and help was available both from Jane herself and also in a help folder available in the cottage. I would definitely recommend. This was an amazing trip and so relaxing.

Courtyard Cottage is a tastefully decorated and very well presented cottage. If I had to describe it in one word that word would be "charming" partly because of the courtyard garden lovingly tended by Robert & his wife. Visitors should be aware that it is small but I quickly realised that this would only have been a problem if I had been planning on staying several weeks - I only stayed 5 nights. The big plus with the cottage is to be located slap bang in the middle of one of the most attractive and historic market towns in the region at a cost lower than a hotel. Knaresborough is ideal for visiting Ripon, Leeds, York (including Castle Howard), Fountains Abbey - and I even managed the Yorkshire Sculpture Park in under an hour each way. Robert is helpful and attentive without being at all intrusive. 5 stars all round.

Just got home from a lovely say in Knaresborough at this lovely townhouse cottage! The house itself was lovely. Very clean and had everything as described. Quirky with the accommodation being over 4 floors, so even though we were a party of 7, didn’t feel like we were under each other’s feet. Plenty of space in the kitchen to prepare and eat food, with the dining room on the first floor an extra area to use. Lovely private entrance with a small courtyard behind gates to get organised when arriving/leaving the property. The host was lovely when we communicated through messages and if we needed anything, she was always quick to respond. Knaresborough is a lovely place and this accommodation was in the heart of it all. Great location for a lovely weekend. Would highly recommend this property and host! Many thanks for making our first Airbnb experience a great one!!
