We loved our stay at Chris’s place. Very cosy cottage with all the amenities you could need. Also delicious scones on arrival! We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

The place was lovely and was extremely cosy 😊 we had a great time especially in winter. Maria was so lovely and helpful and picked us up from the station and offered to take us back. Perfect for a countryside getaway with beautiful surroundings, would highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Weather was cool so we didn’t spend time in the beautiful garden but the azaleas bloomed and we enjoyed them from the lounge. Fiona left all kinds of delicious treats and a bottle of prosecco for us. The house was well situated for Monk’s House, Charleston Farm, Great Dixter, Standen House and Batemans. Supermarkets are nearby as are many good restaurants.

I had a lovely, peaceful mini retreat by myself in the Old Stables. The decor and furnishings are absolutely lovely and in pristine condition. It was also spotlessly clean. Communication with Lucy and Roy was so good: they responded to any enquiry so quickly and were super helpful. Although it was June, I requested wood for the stove because the weather was stormy. Rog bought this round to me in the morning with everything I needed for a a fire in the wood burning stove. It’s a very comfortable space with a particularly comfortable bed. I slept really well and enjoyed hearing the birds in the garden in the morning. There is a lovely shower and the towels were luxurious. The kitchen is impressive for a small space and you really could cook whatever you like here. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb residence and would return myself for another peaceful getaway.
