Monthly Rentals in Buena Vista, San Francisco

This is such a little gem!! Max's place is the coziest little ADU / backyard cottage and I felt so at home here for my stay. Max is a friendly, communicative host who was always on hand if I needed anything. The space itself is a cosy and spacious studio that is light-filled and has everything you need. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bed is comfy. The small dining table can be used to eat or work (I was working remote) and the wifi is strong. There is a clothes washer and dryer which is incredibly convenient, and there is lots of hanging space for clothes in the wardrobe and also a chest of drawers. The area itself is so great - close to Devisadero (Haight), Castro and lots of cafes, coffee spots, shops and restaurants nearby. I felt safe as a solo female staying here and walking around. I loved my stay here and will miss it.

Absolutely loved our stay! We were there for three months, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Bill was an outstanding host—extremely friendly, welcoming, and super responsive to any questions we had. The home was exactly as pictured (if not better!) and beautifully, tastefully decorated. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and private. Our dog had an amazing time in the private large yard—it was such a bonus to have that space. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for about 5 weeks, and thought it was a great value. The location is great, with a short walk to restaurants or Golden Gate Park. I thought it was a great place to start bike rides as well. This is a historic house in the city so don’t expect perfect quiet, and some of the utilities are a bit dated but work well enough. Great spot for working/living. The hosts were very communicative and helpful!

Perfectly located in the Castro are, Barbara and Mick's condo is close to everything you might be looking for: restaurants, groceries, public transportation. Barbara and Mick are great hosts, super responsive, and I highly recommend this place for any couple looking to explore the city.
