I can not say enough good things about the stay I had here. What a great place. Everyone I met here at the complex were so nice and friendly. The pool is amazing and the view from the back decks are unbelievable. Ending my day sitting out there overlooking the golf course and the Intracoastal waterway was such a highlight. Linda was amazing! Always responsive and very knowledgeable of the area with great suggestions on where to go, what to see and great spots to eat. The unit is as described and very well furnished for long term stays. I would absolutely stay here again!

Kate's Place has been my go to place to stay when vacationing in Southport. Kate is a thoughtful and friendly Host. Kate's Place is perfectly located from downtown Southport, the Ferry to nearby Bald Head Island and Wilmington. It is only a short drive to Oak Island. Kate's Place is a perfect place for a single visitor. I always feel right at home.

We loved this rental home's proximity to everything - 10 minutes or less to whatever we wanted to do (i.e., beach, shopping, restaurants). It was equipped with all of the comforts of home, had plenty of space to spread out, and allowed our dog to roam in the fenced yard! We would not hesitate to recommend this listing to others or to stay here again!

Just as it was pictured and described. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of suggestions for food and things to do. Would book again! One unexpected event before my trip was breaking my foot but we still kept the trip. The place had a ramp and other amenities that allowed me to be able to still get around the property/house pretty well.
