The place was awesome to stay at. Very clean and exactly what the pictures showed. Close to the train to walk which gave us access to the whole city. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again if in the area.

Tiffany was friendly host and made sure to communicate with us to make our stay enjoyable. The place walkable distance to public transit and the neighborhood was safe enough to walk at night. It was clean and as pictured, there was coffee, utensils, plates, etc if you needed prepare food.

Ericka is a fantastically thoughtful host! After a long day of travel, she had welcoming gifts in the fridge! Very helpful with any and all questions, the place was just exactly what we needed! Not far at all from the train station either! I’d stay here again for sure! Thank you!

great place, highly recommended. 30 minutes into the city and a similar distance to airport. lovely apartment and great recommendations for local eats. Leah was wonderful greeting us and making suggestions. apartment had everything we needed.

First time in Chicago with family of 4. This place has more than enough space. We fell in love walking in the door. This place had everything you would ever need. The place looks way better than the pictures detail. Really great restaurants in the area. Mall 10 minutes away and all the shops you need within 10 minutes. this was my first time using Airbnb and first time in Chicago so of course I was skeptical. all that was put to easy very quickly with this place. I really can't say enough good things about this booking. We went to Chicago for an art show and to experience the magnificent mile. This Airbnb quickly became one of the best things about Chicago for us. The photos don't do the master bedroom justice it was beautiful. We actually overpacked because we brought all the things we believed the place would not have, but they literally had everything we overpacked. We were here May 24-27 and would definitely booked this place again.

We really enjoyed the space and luxury of Mir’s home! The only thing was that there was not enough toilet paper during our visit. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Loved everything about this place! I cannot say enough good things about my stay. I will say, it is quite far from Chicago. It didn’t quite matter for me as I knew I wanted to find a place away from the city but on a week day it is about an hour or so from downtown. The place was quiet, pillows insanely comfortable, amazing shower, kitchen was great and well equipped, clean washer and dryer, easy to get in and out of the place. Great place to stay.

We stayed one night and were very happy with the accommodations. Lisa was a helpful host and everything was very nice quality and squeaky clean. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was very nice with a big “rain” type showerhead AND a regular size detachable one. The neighborhood and yard area was calm and chickens were very cute! We had some fantastic empanadas at a nearby cafe called La Mulata - definitely recommend. There are a bunch of cool historical buildings nearby too (including the building the cafe is in). FYI since it’s a basement apartment (as advertised) there are a couple spots with slightly lower beams coming down from the ceiling). At 6’2” we were good to walk around without impediment, but I put my hand above my head at the lowest spot and the clearance was only about an inch, so if you are any taller, be careful or you may hit your head! Nice place tucked into a quiet, safe neighborhood. Backyard was outstanding. (We wish the weather had cooperated so we could have spent more time outside) One level home with comfy beds and furniture throughout. Kitchen was spacious and clean. Plenty of extra towels and blankets.

Our family had a wonderful experience and the house was spacious for our large group. The fully stocked linen closet was wonderful and it was clearly organized and labeled for our use. Due to the size of our group - we had family visiting from out of the country and this was their first visit to the US - we made use of the floor mattresses, which were comfortable (much better than an air mattress). We were close enough to make the commute into the city. Close to Sam's and grocery stores which was nice.

Very nice, comfortable house with room for family to spread out. Very clean w good amenities (plus a few welcoming chocolates)! Grandkids enjoyed the PAC Man game in the game room as well as shooting baskets!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was beautiful and had plenty of room for our family to spread out. I was a little nervous about it being close to the airport, but the neighborhood was lovely and very quiet.

The location was great. About 15 min from downtown. The place was beautiful and clean. I would definitely book with Julia again.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

747 Lofts is super conveniently located, right near a stop for the blue line. Lots of great food nearby, we loved getting coffee and scones at Big Shoulder every morning. Host was very responsive, always friendly and helpful. Great communication, great location, would definitely stay here again!

In town for work and this was perfect place to stay for team. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Fulton Market while still providing a peacefully quiet setting. Bright, open and clean apartment with 3 large bedrooms. Nice kitchen for all meal-preparing needs If you don’t want to cook, no problem. Some of Chicago’s best restaurants are just a short walk or quick uber ride.

This is our 3rd time staying at Thomas and Cynthia place. We would have it no other way. Home away from home every single time.

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

This is a WONDERFUL one bedroom apartment that is both private and spacious! The owner/host has the space fabulously decorated with an eclectic mix of original contemporary artwork and antiques. Nothing is generic about the space and it has been outfitted for guests with loving care. The host, Kaye, clearly puts much trust in her guests with her charming decor and furnishings. The amount of space, the privacy and the home-y feel make it a place we'd love to return to.
