Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Bridgetown

Vuemont is secluded and peaceful with good amenities and really responsive staff. (We didn't want for anything, but Alicia checked in regularly to make sure we had all we needed and sent us holiday/restaurant tips which was lovely, making us feel more like family friends than random guests.) The apartment was really spacious and light and had everything we needed to relax, cook for ourselves and enjoy our holiday. The complex is really secure with 24hr staff, it is a little remote which makes lovely for a quiet restful time, but a short drive away from St Peters and attractions like the nature reserve and Haymans Market. Our favourite part was the lovely deck area that overlooked the pool and gardens. A great place to spend the evening with a rum cocktail! I would highly recommend and definitely come again. It could easily become a home from home......

We had a great week at Terrence's place. He was super nice to us and very friendly. We enjoyed the big pool and we were recommended some nice restaurants. Terrence even organized a rental car for us.

June and Stephan were very accessible and helpful. On our first night she drove us to the grocery store to make sure we had all the items that we needed. They introduced us to people who could take us on tours/ fishing trips. The swimming pool was a wonderful addition it was a private setting. It was nice to set on the balcony and watch the monkeys. It would have been better to rent a car but we weren’t comfortable driving on the opposite side of the road/car.

Taariq's place was very clean, open comfortable and breezy. It had just the right amount of dishes and cutlery. Location is superb and even within walking distance.

Very responsive host. Great location. We especially enjoyed the close proximity to the nearby beach. Having our designated beach chairs for the week was a bonus. Facilities were clean and well kept. We had lunch one afternoon at the pool. Good food and service. Brian's unit was very comfortable and furnished well. We received notice from our airlines that bad weather might impinge on our return flight. Brian was gracious enough to offer us an additional night's stay if we had trouble. Should we return to Barbados in the future, I would have no problem staying at Brian's condo again.

My partner and I and our 7 year old son just spent an incredible 2 weeks at Nicole’s apartment, and the stay was perfect. Nicole is a great communicator and host, and the apartment is as described, good aircon for the bedrooms, hot showers, lovely large balcony for breezy end of day drinks. It has everything we needed from a practical sense too, for the beach days for example mats, toys and towels. So much on your doorstep here if you have a car; convenience store, great restaurants on the beachfront, beaches like Mullins, Gibbes etc very short drive takeouts and beach side eateries and bars. We would definitely book Nicole’s place again, it was a very comfortable stay and highly recommended.

Highly recommend! Jo the host is phenomenal and went above and beyond to ensure our stay went well. She was very quick to respond and provided so many great recommendations for us. We could not have asked for a better host. The area is wonderful, we were very comfortable the entire time, and we had everything you would want. Bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, patio are all great! Very clean and super spacious. Jo’s extra efforts would make me feel beyond comfortable staying here again with my family or in any other listing she had. Thank you Jo!

This place was perfect. Walkable to everywhere in The Gap. Quick access to all the restaurants. 30 seconds walk to Dover Beach, ask for Charles for chairs/umbrellas. Try Daddy's or the Sand Dollar Cafe. Check out the Shepherd's pie at Paradise Pizza. Enough space for 4 people. Kitchen is well equipped. TV in the living room has an Android-TV hooked up so you can stream what you want. 5 minutes walk to the main road (H7) to take the bus or ZR to anywhere on the island. The cherry on top of this amazing rental is having access to the Gym and Pool at the Rostrevor Hotel. (8 minutes Walk) The Happy Hour prices at the Rostrevor pool bar are well worth it. Gym is functional and clean. This is a true gem!

Garry’s place was perfect for our girls trip. It had everything you could need and more. He was very proactive, responsive and helpful. The condo is picture perfect and we really appreciate the thoughtfulness of Garry and his team.

This was a lovely condo with everything we could possibly need/want. Beautifully appointed with extremely well equipped kitchen. It was a very spacious and comfortable. The only complaint we had was the hard bed pillows. We recommend adding some feather bed pillows as an option to those who don't like hard & flat pillows. The property had an excellent security and was ideally situated on a beautiful white sand beach with two private pools. Many restaurants within walking distance and a small grocery store 5 min walk. Melissa, the housekeeping, came M,W, F and kept the condo spotless. The only issue we had was reaching the Alleyne concierge a couple of times via email because my email went to junk mail I recommend phoning if it's urgent. We had the property mgr, Chris contact info to we finally got in touch via him. Overall outstanding accommodation and much better value than a hotel. We will be back!!!

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the views from the patio where we spent the morning drinking coffee and having breakfast. Location was close to good restaurants and the unit had plenty of space to accommodate our family of 5. The pool was a good size and perfect to take a late afternoon swim after an exploring the island (and was in the shade for the late afternoon). The location felt very secure with gated access to/from the beach, the street, and interior doors that were locked late in the evening to access the elevators. Parking spot is very narrow and was a bit tricky to navigate, but we made it work.

Our stay at Sapphire Beach ondo 305 was wonderful. The best part was sitting on the balcony watching the beautiful view! The condo was sufficient for three couples. The only complaint would be to hve more kitchen items, plates, cups, pitchers,etc. We enjoyed the location which was in walking distance to many restaurants. A wonderful family stay at the elegant 109 apartment. The apartment benefits from privacy in its end of block location and the accessibility of the ground floor directly to the gardens, pool beach and amenities. An exquisitely decorated apartment with great cooking and laundry facilities - also a particularly lovely dining area with plenty of space. We will definitely return to 109. Thanks also to the excellent Marilil and Sara for their assistance and great service delivery throughout our stay from Arlene.

We had never visited Barbados before and we were not sure what to expect. I reached out to our host and asked for help getting from the airport to our Condo. We were a party of seven and he arranged transportation for us. There were 2 vehicles waiting for us when we exited the Airport doors. We had numerous bags that we had brought with us. The ride was reasonable, comfortable and air conditioned. Peter met us when we arrived at the Condo and answered all our questions about the home and the area. The Condo accommodated the seven of us well. The large balcony over looking the beach and the pools is amazing. We enjoyed the near by restaurant's, many to select from, in walking distance. The beach worked well for us. We rented lounge chairs on the beach every day near the beach bar. They serve low cost but great cocktails with or without alcohol. I always rent a car on vacation but this time a didn't. I never missed it. I highly recommend Peter Karl and his Condo! Pat Estep

The condo was wonderful. It was nice to be on the 5th floor and have a great view of the ocean. Great location, beautiful beach, easy to walk to restaurants. We loved having the pools too. Would definitely recommend!

Sandy View was a beautifully furnished and well appointed condo with ample space for 3 couples. The views from the balcony across the beach were stunning. Volney was fantastic and got us some shopping in for our arrival as the supermarkets were closed early on the Sunday. She serviced the condo regularly and promptly address an issue with the hot water. The booking process was easy and Richard was really helpful before we arrived offering advice on transportation and restaurants. The beach was lovely but be sure to go to Heywood’s beach just 10 mins walk from the condo to the right. Two supermarkets close by were great. I would recommend Baia, Local&Co snd Sand Street Bistro as well as the pizzas at Orange Street Grocer. Pier One about a 1 mile walk right from the condo offers lovely sunbeds and a pool free if you eat there. I would highly recommend @Shasacatamarancruises for a private charter to snorkel and swim with turtles with your food and bar included. Really good value.

Another great stay at Royal Westmoreland for our family. Location is excellent for all shops/beaches/restaurants etc. Communication with Realtors was spot on, the car hire/transfers/pre arrival food shop was especially helpful. Sugar Cane 12 is beautifully presented and a special mention to Lana for keeping it looking immaculate during our stay.

10000/10, I don’t think enough words can even describe how Hazel and Tim made my sisters and I feel during our stay. From the welcome basket to the daily check ins to the cater birthday dinner, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional and we appreciated that very much. The location of the house made it easy for us to navigate around the island without too much worries, prime location to several beaches, activities, and restaurants.

We stayed here very last minute as the other air bnb we booked wasn’t suitable. Andrew did everything possible to make it feel like home. It was perfect for us , the outdoor space was so peaceful and the beach only a short distance away. The space was immaculate and the beds super comfy. We would definitely recommend and return again.

A clean, comfortable home in a quiet area, perfect for a relaxing stay in Barbados. Our three young children loved the green space -and the pools! Well-equipped and nicely maintained, with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and local attractions. Ideal for a peaceful getaway.

The villa is spacious, very clean and modern with all amenities. The beds are very comfortable. The private pool and outdoor area was clean with lots of seating for everyone. It also has a nice view of the sea and wonderful sunsets. We love the quiet gated community. Our host Maisha is very friendly, courteous and helpful She answered our questions promptly and was always available when needed. All staff were nice. I will definitely stay here again.

It was such a wonderful and pleasant stay. Ama is so sweet, professional, and very accommodating. She made sure I had everything I needed to ensure I can focus on my studies for the school semester. She responds quickly and had great communication throughout my time there. The home is very well kept, clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a seamless stay. It’s located in a nice quiet neighborhood and a less than 5 minute walk to the Coverley Square which has plenty of restaurants, gym , shopping center and more for your every day leisure. The home is also conveniently located near the airport and about 15-20 minutes away from the beautiful beaches depending on which one you choose to go to. Also, if you are a Ross student or visiting one you’ll be near student housing and their amenities as well! Very peaceful stay with a great host ! Thank you Ama you’re the best !😊

Finding the location of the home was a bit hard at first because the coordinates and address took us to the wrong place that was about 10 minutes away from the actual home. We had to put in a golf course address around the home and try to find it on our own. Once we found the home it was exactly what was on Airbnb and my party and I were amazed at the view and cleanliness of the home. Instructions to everything regarding the home should be updated, that is my only complaint because what we got on the app wasn’t the same as what was in a welcome booklet that was provided inside the home. Also the upstairs didn’t have air conditioning but the rooms did. Overall, my party and I definitely would recommend and stay here again!

The villa was located in a quiet gated community that we found to be in a perfect location. It was a short drive from the coast, restaurants, and shopping. The villa was clean, spacious, and had an amazing sunset view and private pool perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring the island. Mark was very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and would not hesitate return.
