We loved Barbados. The apartment is right at the beach, rather secluded. It's not near any town, so it's advisable to rent a car. The apartment was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We were a little disappointed not to find a washing machine in the apartment, but there was a laundry service for extra charge. The apartment is very open, meaning there are only shutters to be closed, which makes it very airy, but also you can hear the waves on the rocks very loudly. In any case, it is a very special place and made our stay most enjoyable.

If you love Bajan/ Soca music this is the place for you! It was right on the beach, and we walked to the Bars. Great food and extremely helpful staff.

The apartment had everything I needed and was located in a great spot walking distance to the local grocery store, restaurants, the beach and transit. The location was great. Easy access to restaurants, beach, and public transportation (within 0.5 mile walk). We really enjoyed the space, frequent cleanings, and a beautiful pool. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful view from the front porch. Great location. If you’re looking for night life this is the place, walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Down side is the music from the bars can be heard and goes on into the night.

Great place to stay right across the water and around many restuarants. Nice area for strolling or jogging, with a few beaches nearby! Prepare for beautiful Sunset views!!

My husband and I had a peaceful and comfortable weeklong stay at Hidden Gem. Ann-Marie and Ameena were lovely hosts - extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. The place was very calm and relaxing, located in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the pool area and called it our “oasis”. We enjoyed the home cooked breakfast and coffee each morning (try the guava jam if it’s available!). Some nights we brought back dinner to enjoy on the upstairs deck while listening to the waves and watching the full moon. From the hosts’ recommendations, we ended up enjoying one of my favorite nights of the trip in a lovely oceanfront restaurant with a live reggae band and lots of dancing. While the location is on the south of the island, it’s a 3 minute walk to the route taxi/bus stop or the hosts can help set you up with a taxi. Location is excellent for surfing and most days we watched kite surfers from the deck. We truly enjoyed our time and appreciate the hospitality!

I very much enjoyed spending two nights here. It is a very genuine old style family run hotel , so, thankfully, a refreshing change from anonymous hotel chains. The standout was the staff, so openly friendly, as if living on the East coast has bred a natural conviviality. Secondly the restaurant is unusually excellent, clearly they have nurtured some talent in their kitchen. And finally I have to mention the stunning location on the wild East coast, so, so different to the west that you might forget that you are on the same island. And a great setting off point for walking the Barbados Trailway

I must say I enjoyed my stay at Maxwell's. It easily exceeded my expectations. A special mention must be made of ALL the friendly and helpful staff, who made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived and always had a welcoming smile (even when I lost my key fob. Twice!). The garden room allocated to me was fantastic! Maxwell's is located within walking distance of Oistins and St Lawrence Gap and on the main coast road, so is perfectly positioned for a great daytime and nighttime holiday experience. Also, the local taxi service favoured by Maxwell's was another plus point to an already amazing holiday! I got to see some offbeat local sights and visit family nearby in St Philip. The seven days I stayed in Maxwell's was idyllic, but, unfortunately for me, not long enough. I hope to return as soon as possible. I can highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, prefers a smaller, more intimate hotel where the staff have the time to get to know you and form a happy bond!

A very cute historic inn on the windward side of the island. The views were stunning right from the bedroom. Tyrell and the rest of the staff are the stars of this operation, everyone was so incredibly kind and friendly. We ate at the restaurant one night and the other walked up the hill to de garage and finally had lunch at Zemi the day we checked out. There is a great trail that runs the coastline to take you to the different beaches. The beaches are rugged, perfect for advanced surfing and tide pooling to cool down. The only note I have to make is that the internet is not as fast as it states, which for us didn't matter at all, we were there for vacation and not work, but if you are reading this trying to figure out if you can remote work here, internet was not the ~150mbps airbnb quotes, it's more like 20. Again, not an issue for us, but putting it out there for others. Thank you for having us!

I have stayed at Rostrevor previously so was happy to find this listing. It was only for 1 night but it was just the calm and relaxation I needed.

The ECO Lodge is situated on a beautiful and peaceful spot about 100 yards from the ocean. The breeze is ever present as is the roar of the surf. The room was very comfortable and roomy with a nice bathroom, small table for eating, and great covered porch. A small drawback was the thinness of the room walls as you can hear your neighbors occasionally. A highlight was the food. the breakfasts are tasty, filling and with good variety (included in room rate). If you choose to eat here you wont be disappointed as the food is creative and very well done. Also, note that all meals are under an outdoor covered eating area with the ocean and grounds all in sight. The other highlight at ECO is the wonderful staff - they are extremely helpful and kind. One caveat with this stay is that you are on the quiet East side -meaning the beach is great to look at and maybe wade at low tide up to your knees. Otherwise 30+ minute travel is needed for beaches and other activities.

Property was exactly as described, in an excellent location walkable to all amenities. Apartment was clean and has everything we needed for our 1 week stay. Would highly recommend Sunset Lane and hope to return in the future.

The accommodation was beyond words! The house itself looked majestic and it was very clean! Toanna is a super hospitable host and she is very attentive and responsive! I never had a real reason to contact her apart from enquiring about a local taxi service. The accommodation has a dining room with a kettle and microwave but no cooking facilities - this is OK for someone who does not intend on cooking. The pool is lovely and the WiFi is strong throughout the accommodation. There’s no need to bring your own Bluetooth speaker as a very big speaker is available in the dining room. A Smart TV with Netflix is also provided. Local restaurants are fantastic and are about a 20 min walk away! I would suggest going to Le Shack, Cutters & the Crane Hotel - they all have fantastic dishes with great customer service.

Had a wonderful stay at Palms Resort! The apartment is fully equipped. The pool is top, the ladies of the reception are very friendly! I'm glad she also hosted a cocktail party. I personally found the bed a little on the soft side! But otherwise, top notch!

The space contains around 25 apartments. They are either first floor or on the second floor. Access is always by key or digital lock. The pool is in the central area, designed to have sun all day long. There was a lot of chlorine in the pool, but it's necessary because there were children in the space. The parking lot is at the back of the property, but there are few spaces. There is space to park on the street in front of the property.   The hosts are amazing and responsive. Requests are widely and quickly answered by the staff.   The apartment itself has a king bed, bathroom, sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kitchen utensils). The space is cozy, with no noise in the early hours. Accommodates 4 people amply. Efficient air conditioning only in the bedroom. In the living room/kitchen, there is a ceiling fan that can only keep the air circulating.   Note: the photos are mixed up and may not correspond to the room you'll be staying in

I stayed here back in 2019 before the refurbishment and as a frequent visitor to Barbados I know this area ,sunset crest in Holetown very well and love it. These apartments are now super modern and up to date and excellent value for money, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the lounge area including bathroom/shower can be used after check out if you have a later flight that day which is fantastic. Sunset Crest is a lovely area, quiet and private and walking distance to beaches, restaurants, bars and the supermarket. If you stay here you can also use Paul Owen’s The Beach House on the seafront which has a private swimming pool, bar and restaurant and is great place to watch sunset. Holetown is a beautiful area in Barbados. Highly recommend and will use again.

Perfect location to enjoy rest and relaxation! Car recommended if you wanna head out during the night…

This is my second stay at this villa, and it works very well for me. this day is in walking distance to grocery stores and lots of restaurants. it's also about a five minute walk to the buses if you're heading downtown or to Oistens. Self check in is very easy, and the hosts are responsive immediately. Will definitely stay again.

I used the penthouse for work primarily and it worked well with the WiFi. The team were very helpful and made me feel comfortable. Could do with an update
