Riccardo and the accommodation were both absolutely excellent. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and a great location. Parking in the immediate vicinity of the apartment, supermarket in front of the door. Check-in hassle-free, apartment spacious, beautiful and cozy. Absolutely quiet at night! Perfect location, as both by bus you can get to Trieste very easily, but also a lot of destinations in the area by car. We will be happy to come back!

We loved every minute here! The photos do not do it justice – – it’s far more beautiful in person. The views over trees and the water are spell – binding. We would sit and watch as the sky and the water as the light changed. It was very easy to hike up on the Napoleonic way or down to the seaside. The kitchen was great and it was fun to cook with fresh Italian ingredients. I enjoyed a few swims even in cooler weather. But it was particularly a good place for us to hole up and reboot, take a break and get work done. We hope to make this an annual retreat. Petra and Ivan were particularly helpful, and went out of their way to support our stay and even extend it. We are very grateful!
