Apartment holiday rentals in Bologna

A wonderful apartment - lovely and clean, quiet and in a great location. Really lovely host who gave us lots of helpful ideas on bars, restaurants and places to visit.

Roberta’s place is a true gem - one of those rare Airbnbs that instantly feels like home and makes it hard to leave. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed, the apartment is about an 18-minute walk from the train station and 30–35 minutes from the city centre. There’s also a bus stop just across the street (though keep in mind that Bologna’s buses can be a bit unpredictable). Every room, including the kitchen, has air conditioning - a huge plus in the summer. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need, from a dishwasher and washing machine to sewing kits and spare batteries. There's also a lovely little balcony - perfect for a quiet breakfast, a coffee break, or a glass of wine in the evening. I 100% recommend staying here and truly hope to come back someday.

Very nice, spacious apartment, very well equipped and well located for city explorations. Best ice cream shop in town just a few minutes away. And the highlight is the balcony, where you can enjoy a coffee in the morning sun.

We had a great stay. Very close and walkable to the city. Many great restaurant close by. Clean and very comfortable beds and the best pillows to sleep on.

Luciana’s place was perfect for my stay in Bologna. The apartment has a very comfortable living space and the location is only a short 10 min walk to the main piazza and many other attractions. Luciana was excellent at communicating and made me feel very welcome.

Elena was a really great host. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew where to find her. She was flexible about our arrival time and had some amazing recommendations for exploring Bologna - if I'm ever back in Bologna again I would definitely book this apartment again!

We had a brilliant stay here. Barbara is an excellent host, really communicative and helpful with great tips about local restaurants - and she provided lots of information to make our arrival and check-in as easy as possible. The apartment itself is great - clean, cosy and characterful - and a nice distance from the main piazzas. It's close enough to walk to the centre but far enough away to feel like you can escape the crowds and unwind at the end of the day. There are also some lovely shops and restaurants around the corner from the apartment with Le Serre, in the park across the ring road, a particularly nice place for a relaxed afternoon. Finally, the little terrace at the back is a lovely feature and a great place to sit and chat.

We stayed a week at Jonathan's place and absolutely loved it! The unit was cozy and extremely clean with everything you'd need to make yourself at home. The AC was also great to have in a heatwave. The neighbourhood is lovely as well; close enough to walk everywhere with plenty of great restaurants and cafes right next to you. Much like the rest of the city center, the apartment is also under a covered archway, making it easy to hide from the rain or scorching sun. There are also many bus stations within a few minutes walk that can get you to Bologna Centrale within 20 mins. Jonathan himself was very friendly, responsive, and quick to help with anything as he and his family live very close by. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a slice of local Italian life.

The place was absolutely lovely, super clean and spacious! Elena and her husband met us to check in and they were super helpful and lovely and let us know about the local areas and the best places to see and eat. It's perfectly located so you're near things but it's not too busy or loud, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby if you don't feel like travelling far on a morning/evening which is perfect. The bathroom is super modern and really clean and the shower is just lovely. There are a few bits and bobs for cooking which we didn't use but it was really helpful knowing that they were there if needed. There are some supermarkets closeby if you need to stock up on any food and drinks too! There was some tea and coffee for us to use and a bottle of water was already in the fridge along with a local dessert! It was such a lovely touch. If we ever come to Bologna again we will 100% stay here again as it was just lovely. Thank you so much Elena! <3

Waking up in the morning in complete relaxation, away from the daily chaos, immersed in nature was an indescribable experience!The accommodation is comfortable and equipped with all the comforts! Antonella and her husband are exceptional, friendly, caring people with a great sense of hospitality! Antonella delighted us every morning with her breakfast, all home made! What can I say... I highly recommend this accommodation!

For one person, the apartment was too big, and perhaps the price also depended on this, but I had a great time. Tastefully furnished, clean, with everything you needed, with well-functioning air conditioners in every room and a small terrace where you can get some air in the evening and in the morning. Renato immediately answered all my questions and for me the apartment was in a strategic position since I was able to walk to the clinic where I had to go. Supermarkets nearby and also a pizzeria and tavern.

Great apartment in great part of the town. Rita was very accommodating, responding quickly to any questions we had. Definitely recommend!

Spacious apartment with vaulted ceilings and walking distance to train station, restaurants, shopping, and central Bologna. Air conditioning and the lift were very appreciated. We really enjoyed staying at Vladimir’s place and would consider staying again on a future trip to Bologna. Vladimir’s apartment manager, Luca was wonderful — very helpful with local recommendations and baggage storage, and quite flexible for check-in when our train was very late to arrive.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was wonderful. In the center of everything and walkable to everywhere. There are dozens of stores and restaurants surrounding it and we felt part of the city. The balcony was a huge plus! We enjoyed sitting out there and taking in the sights and sounds of the street. Even during the hot summer, the balcony was cool and shaded later in the day, just in time for a glass of wine. The air conditioner cooled the apartment down well. Enrico was very quick to respond to us and answer our questions. He went out of his was to help us and we appreciated it!

Alice and Marco are wonderful hosts. Very welcoming and responsive to messages. Apartment is great - bright, clean and spacious. 30 minutes walk or an easy 5 minutes bus trip into the city centre.

We loved everything about our stay! The apartment was not only spotless but also super cool in style — such unique decor and a cozy vibe. The pool was a dream, especially on warm days. We stayed as a family in Andrea's beautiful place to stay - a couple with baby, a couple without a child and a grandparent couple, so 6 adults. We had more than enough space and were received very warmly. Apartment, garden and pool were great and we were able to relax well. We particularly enjoyed the oversized table where we always ate. The view is amazing and everything was absolutely clean and well maintained. We experienced Andrea and Alina as very warm and accommodating. We would come back.

Comprehensive apartment, surrounded by greenery with maximum privacy and equipped with every comfort to relax at your best. Very kind and helpful host for any questions or requests. You absolutely have to try the indoor pool! Highly recommended experience, I will definitely be back.

Beautiful place in the middle of nature, quiet and peaceful everywhere. The apartment looked like in the photos, as well as the pool and the garden with a great view. Francesca was very kind, we felt at home here:)

The highlight of our Italy tour! Super quiet and beautiful location in the middle of nature, yet grocery stores and the like were easily accessible. I discovered Borgo Shower casually looking for a nice place for a relaxing weekend and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Room equilibrium is beautiful as in the photos, simple and spacious room, overlooking the three sides of the structure always offering breathtaking views. The colors of the Apennines are beautiful and from Borgo shower you can admire all their shades. Francesca was a fantastic host, always available and never intrusive, with her tips on places to visit and places to eat, she was able to make us fall in love with her land and those who live there. We'll definitely be back!
