Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bologna

I stayed in this apartment for 3 days. It is equipped with everything you need in an apartment. Excellent location for getting to the center by public transport. I thank Giorgia for her availability

This is a very spacious flat, which is beautifully furnished and has a lovely outside seating area. It is walkable distance to the old town and has a number of good cafes close by for breakfast. Plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen was very well equipped. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they were quick to respond. Our group was a couple in their 60s and 2 in their 70s. We could not have walked from the station but Carolina described where it was best to catch a taxi and the whole process was very easy. Carolina then ordered us a taxi for our return to the airport, which worked very well. It was a great stay and I would thoroughly recommend this flat!

Mauro’s apartment was very clean and tidy. We felt as if we were home. He was very friendly and supportive. I’d like to stay in his aparment whenever I come to Bologna

We spent two nights there, everything was great! The hot tub overlooking the mountains is a good plus and if you go there in summer you can enjoy the fruits that grow on site. There is also a couple of neighbors, who are absolutely adorable and with whom everything went well.

Words cannot explain how beautiful this home is! From the warm fireplace to the beautiful furnishings and feel of the home, we loved EVERYTHING about it. Tiziano was so helpful with recommendations and we can’t wait to come visit again and share a bottle of wine with him next time. 10/10 would recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a small town home with plenty of small local places to eat/drink.

We had a very joyful stay, host was friendly from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. Loved all the animals and the beautiful scenery. Breakfast was very tasty and fresh. Communication was very easy and we felt right at home.

The owners showed incredible availability, as well as a kindness that is not always found. They were also very patient and helpful with unforeseen events and organizational changes communicated at short notice. We found the house comfortable, clean and welcoming. We were provided with services and amenities of all kinds (full fridge, lots of food for breakfast), and we were also accompanied from the station to the house and from the house to the station. I thank them again very much and I will definitely return to them on any other occasion when I need to sleep near Bologna. Thank you

This was our first stop on a trip of 14 days and I think my family of four would all have voted to stay much longer. The place has an excellent design with 4 large bedrooms each with a bathroom. The views are amazing. To top it off Andrea was so responsive and kind. He really looked to take care of every need - even allowing us to mail a parcel there and return later to get it. My daughter has severe allergies to environmental toxins and she was absolutely fine in this air bnb. It is delightful and immaculate and I hope we get to stay again in the future. Thank you Andrea!

Very good stay in Bologna in Cristina's accommodation, the apartment is well located, about 10 min walk from the central square and in a quiet area! The presence of the air conditioning was great because the outside temperatures were very high! I recommend it!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was wonderful. In the center of everything and walkable to everywhere. There are dozens of stores and restaurants surrounding it and we felt part of the city. The balcony was a huge plus! We enjoyed sitting out there and taking in the sights and sounds of the street. Even during the hot summer, the balcony was cool and shaded later in the day, just in time for a glass of wine. The air conditioner cooled the apartment down well. Enrico was very quick to respond to us and answer our questions. He went out of his was to help us and we appreciated it!

Lorenzo was a delight. Everything at his apartment was clean and well maintained and the location is amazing, especially if you like to visit local restaurants. The apartment had even more space than I anticipated and was very comfortable and homey.

We loved staying at Elena's apartment in the heart of Bologna. So much to see and do right on our doorstep. Elena met us to show us in and around the apartment. She had created an amazing list of great restaurants and bars that were not in our guide book. We loved that there were almost no tourists at these venues – it felt like an authentic recommendation. The apartment was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. It wasn't that hot, but there was air con for when it is. There are a lot of stairs (it's a top floor apartment), so this might not suit you if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, we would really recommend this place for a short stay in Bologna. Only 15 minutes from the railway station, supermarket at the end of the road and countless bars, cafes and restaurants within metres of the front door. Elena also stays next door, so if you needed anything, she was at hand.

Perfect for a stay in Bologna, close to all the hotspots in the city center, and very nice and thoughtful hosts. The apartment has all you need and has a great size. Would definitely come back!

We ve really enjoyed Valeria’s apartment. Great location we could walk everywhere. Valeria and Luca were really responsive hosts with their communication and the flat was very quirky and comfortable with a lovely patio and great decor we really enjoyed our stay and can only highly recommend it. The garage / parking recommended 1min away was also very secure and practical. Thank you.

Wonderful place in a beautiful location. Several well-kept and restored accommodations with passion and expertise, immersed in greenery overlooking the valleys between Romagna and Tuscany. Perfect whether you want to relax or walk through villages and woods. Highly recommended.

We had the most amazing time at Benedetta’s place. It really is a little paradise in the Italian countryside. The swimming pool is lovely, there is a lovely outside area where we ate dinner every night and the house was comfortable (if a little warm). I would advise people that there are lots of mosquitoes, obviously this is the case everywhere in Italy and has nothing to do with the property but make sure you bring lots of spray. I would also say regarding the reviews talking about lack of privacy- for the most part we had no issues with this. There was another family staying in the other property but they were friendly and didn’t bother us. There was one night where another guest arrived and was a little bit intrusive- we weren’t clear whether he was staying or whether he was just a friend who had come to use the pool- but Benedetta messaged us and apologised for this. It is a beautiful space and we were so relaxed and happy to be there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Really nice place! Incredibly beautiful surroundings and nice and clean accommodation. Lovely private terrace. The pool was super nice and clean, and we had it all to ourselves. Valter is very friendly and he was flexible both regarding arrival and departure. Although Valter doesn't speak English, communication works fine with Google Translate. Although Valter and his wife live in the same building, you don't hear much from them, so you feel like you have the place all to yourself. A very small downside; The bed on the 1st floor was a very hard. And from the description, you might think that there is aircondition in both bedrooms. However, I had already read in another review that there is only aircon in one of the bedrooms and a fan in the other. We highly recommend the place and would live to visit again some day.

We stayed as a family in Andrea's beautiful place to stay - a couple with baby, a couple without a child and a grandparent couple, so 6 adults. We had more than enough space and were received very warmly. Apartment, garden and pool were great and we were able to relax well. We particularly enjoyed the oversized table where we always ate. The view is amazing and everything was absolutely clean and well maintained. We experienced Andrea and Alina as very warm and accommodating. We would come back.

Fantastic stay in Pizzicalaluna! We spent two days in this magical place with our 7-month-old baby before returning to Milan. Giulia, Elisabetta and all the staff make us feel truly at home and filled with attention and cuddles. The mini apartment ‘Flore d 'angelo’ is equipped with everything you need and the ideal pool to cool off. Good breakfast and it is highly recommended to book a lunch or dinner, the organic products from their garden are to be tasted! Thanks again for the great experience.

This place is very comfortable and beautiful. you can feel the atmosphere of Italian historical life there. It's a great location for trips to surrounding towns. Franco was incredibly nice and open to our needs.

We were able to spend seven wonderful days with Milena and Sergio. We were stunned by the warmth that the two brought us. The accommodation is unique and has a piece of history of Molinella with the restored castle. It is very worth spending a few nice days here. The property is well maintained and there is something new to discover on every corner. Our children especially liked the pool. We will definitely be back! Thanks for the unforgettable vacation!
