Cabin holiday rentals in Blue River

The one word that comes to mind when I think about how Gino run's his airbnb is integrity. So many things feel thoughtful and intentional. I got a real sense that he actually cares that his guests are happy. The place is the perfect combination of rustic and luxury. Gino, himself, is genuine, thoughtful, and kind. Our stay was well worth the price paid. We will be back.

We recently stayed at Jay’s place in Alma for a ski trip, and we had the best time. The accommodation was perfect and, honestly, one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. The level of detail he’s put into all the little things makes for such an exceptional stay. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice, cozy stay away from the noise but close to the ski field.

Mark & Nancy were on top of everything before we got to the cabin. From vehicle recommendations to all of the info we needed to get in. The airbnb was stocked with everything we needed along with fun card and board games to keep everyone entertained. One couple on the trip even got engaged at the top of the hill right by the airbnb with the beautiful mountains in the background! 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely bliss. Gorgeous. Mountain View from the hot tub was my favorite. A great hike less than 10 minutes away. Quiet, private and super clean!! Highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay near Fairplay. Loved calling this home for a week.

Lovely, peaceful place that filled our need for a quick getaway from Denver. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog, and we enjoyed the surrounding area and the hot tub immensely. The cabin is very comfortable and homey with a beautiful, stocked kitchen. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven on earth!

I love places like this that are secluded. What a beautiful home and my Husky loved it as well. I will definitely come here again. Also, Hanna was so nice when I told her I was coming to stay for one night.

We selected this cabin for a two-night family getaway with our two adult children to get away and just enjoy a relaxing weekend with family. We got exactly that. Anna contacted us well before our check-in to give us the information we needed to settle into the cabin quickly. The cabin was bright and welcoming, and the views from the dining room table and deck were great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen utensils to prepare a family meal, and lots of extra kitchen goodies that you almost felt like you were in your own kitchen. We enjoyed many the morning sun and stargazing on the deck. Very peaceful. The hot tub and roasting smores on the lower deck was a great way to cap off our stay. It was an all-around great cabin for hospitality, welcoming and comfortable accommodations, and just the right setting to get away from the hustle and bustle.

This cabin is absolutely fantastic! The host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable during our short stay. I really wish we could have stayed longer. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the woods. To top off our great experience at Moose Landing, we got to see a full-grown moose walking right next to the cabin! We hope to be back in the future.

The cabin was very comfortable and well-designed, and I especially loved the quirky artwork. The kitchen was small but very functional. The only warning I'd give is not to underestimate the elevation! Going straight from sea level to stay at 10,674 feet was maybe a bit rash, and I did have a pretty bad headache for the entire trip sadly.

Unmatched stargazing! We’re regular visitors & the location can’t be beat! Secluded with tons of hiking yet close enough to nearby towns/amenities. Cute, quaint home with all the charm! Cozy indoor fireplace & inviting décor. Views & back patio are so nice to have! We saw fox (beware they may come right up to you and the front door!) AND moose right in the yard! Nice amenities for a small home. Enjoyed the second living area with a TV, leaving the main one for gathering and enjoying the views. Kitchen has basics – need to bring oil, spices, foil/parchment paper, etc. if cooking/baking. RO water system is VERY nice to have, especially in the dry climate! Home was very clean and nicely updated. Be aware we’re very familiar with this area and spiders are a common occurrence in the Summer. They easily slip through the cracks in these older homes. We LOVED the cedar hot tub – so nice! The turf and stepping stones on the first level patio are a nice touch. Great stay, friendly hosts.

Stayed here with 6 people total and everyone was very comfortable. Tara provided helpful instructions and was always responsive to any questions I had. The property requires a gate code and has very little traffic once off the main road. Kitchen was spacious and the loft bedroom upstairs was super cool. We got snowed on pretty good our first night so we were very glad to be able to use the fireplace at the home! The place was very clean and couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Rachel's house in Alma is really beautiful! The land is gorgeous and the views are stunning, and it's private and super quiet. The house itself is as advertised-- it's beautiful -- every detail was thoughtfully and intentionally decorated. It's one of the highest quality Airbnbs I've seen in a long time. The kitchen has everything you might need, the beds are comfortable and the linens are quality -- we noticed even the blinds are high quality and feel luxurious. You can feel that a lot of love went into making the home feel comfortable and welcoming! We loved it!

Beautiful views, spacious, well stocked kitchen, furniture for baby, great hot tub, plenty of beds! Elizabeth and management company were very responsive and accommodating to our needs. All and all great experience!

This is our favorite AirBnB to date. We are digital nomads and live in AirBnB’s full time so this says a lot! Josh’s place is an amazing mountain getaway out of a Hallmark movie! The mountain views are amazing and the house is private with a cozy wood burning fireplace and updated amenities including a gas stove and fridge with ice maker and water dispenser. The beds are comfortable and the wrap around porch is perfect for wildlife peeping. We saw a moose, foxes and a herd of deer. We were there for 5 weeks April-May and it snowed almost daily which is what we wanted. My husband and I work from home and the internet was reliable and fast. I had back to back video calls and never had any issues. We would have stayed longer if the rental was not booked. We ended up renting another cabin in the Valley of the Sun through the summer since we love this area so much! We will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing stay!

We stayed here for our wedding, and we could not be happier with our stay. We had everything we needed, and it was a nice, quiet place to get away. A bit far from stores and restaurants, but we were prepared and loved to cook at the house. Scenery was beautiful, I loved waking up to the mountain sunrise every morning. Beautiful cabin with even more beautiful views. Lots of room. I visited with my fiancé, our two daughters, and my mom. We had an amazing few days in the mountains. David was super informative ahead of time and was responsive/easy to reach. The deck and views alone make this place worth it. Definitely recommend!

Impeccable location , great host and on time communication. This place has everything you can ask for. The best part is the hot steam on the master bedroom and the tree house. We were family of 7 and enjoyed every bit. Thanks for being a wonderful host.

Our family had an incredible stay at this charming cabin in Fairplay! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, cozy, and well-maintained the space was. It truly felt like a home away from home—comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully furnished. The cabin provided the perfect setting for quality family time. The peaceful surroundings and natural beauty of the area made it easy to unplug and enjoy the great outdoors. We also loved exploring nearby trails and local attractions. If you're looking for a quiet, scenic, and comfortable place to stay in the mountains, we highly recommend this cabin. It's a gem!

The Cozy Cabin was just that. If you want a slightly rustic, out of the way place this is it. It was homey and the record player/collection enthralled my kids! Not to mention the wood burning stove! At the beginning of June it was chilly in the evenings but just right for a little fire. My kids did not want to leave, despite not having screens! My son loved “chopping” wood in the yard. We unfortunately did not see any moose! A goal for the next time we rent this cabin! We will definitely rent again! Sarah made it so easy! Thank you.

Just—wow! We had an incredible stay at Eric’s cabin. The setting is absolutely beautiful, tucked in the mountains with peaceful views and that crisp Colorado mountain air. The cabin design is the perfect balance of minimal yet cozy, with every detail thoughtfully considered. You can tell how much care went into the making of it. We loved the hot tub, outdoor patio dining, and movie nights with the projector—definitely a highlight. The location made it super easy to explore Empire, Georgetown, and Idaho Springs, but we were always happy to come back to the quiet and calm of the cabin. It was the perfect getaway from the city—relaxing, fun, and exactly what our family needed. On our last night, it rained, and a rainbow stretched across the sky just outside the cabin. Pure magic! We’ll definitely miss it and hope to return every summer!

We also loved how close it was to beautiful hiking areas we hadn’t explored before—truly a memorable experience!
