Holiday rentals with breakfast in Big Sur

Julia’s airbnb home is perfect. The house is spacious, the kitchen is big and stocked and the garden is a delight. Thank you Julia for being communicative. Plus the neighborhood is very safe and the home is close to many crucial places. Would love to stay at this place for our holidays here.

This place was the perfect stay for a wedding weekend. Walkable to the cute downtown area and close to the best wineries. The home was roomie, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside area in the beautiful weather and had a great time.

This was a lovely, unique and super-clean space that we truly enjoyed staying in! Location-wise it was a great home base for visiting Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. Cindy was a great communicator and an amazing host. The snack tray and fresh cookies that welcomed us were an awesome treat after a long day of travel!

We had a wonderful stay here, and we truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect for everything we needed, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities – a definite highlight. There was a few drops of water dripping in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs after after some heavy rain. Julia was informed and took immediate action to address. Overall, we had a great experience, and we would happily stay here again.

Nice location, with walkable distance from everything we needed. The outdoor space was lovely and peaceful. House was comfortable and clean. We loved the eggs, homemade jam and muffins that Sara left us, very much appreciated.

This was the a great place to stay for a short work trip. The unit is a first floor private studio apartment with its own private bathroom and kitchen in a small apartment building. There is controlled access to the overall building as well as a key to the room. It is convenient walking distance from everything on Castro as well as the Caltrain station. As others mention, the main drawback was the noise, but I actually found it easier to sleep that way. The kitchen is stocked with some basic food items and breakfast like bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee pods. It is an older building and unit that I thought had character. Very clean and comfortable.

Ginger's place was great! It was just what we needed for a weekend getaway. It had everything we needed and they were very quick to respond.

We had a great time! We’re natives returning for a work visit, and this is a great location. Aubrey gave detailed instructions so check in was a breeze. The place was lovely and very clean. We had everything we needed for a week stay and even cooked regularly. I would definitely recommend!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here and would recommend it to anyone! The location is perfect, easy walk down to the beach, and restaurants close by as well. Check in process was very simple and directions were clear. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Brenda and Bill take so much pride in their home and hosting. What a hidden gem in Carmel valley and a great home base for a day in Big Sur. Lovely breakfast with a view. Definitely would stay again!

A great place to stay to explore nearby areas like Solvang, SLO, and Pismo Beach! Everything we needed was included and we didn't have any issues at all!

A little slice of heaven in Merced. Beautiful little place. Loved the jetted tub and the hot tub. Perfect location. I just wish it had a formal kitchen.

This is such a beautiful hidden gem. A real step-back-in-time. The bed was super comfy. The house is absolutely beautiful and the furniture is wonderful, having been made from Amish wood. Bruce was really helpful and communicative. He very kindly swapped our reservation date when the road was blocked off. We loved it so much we booked another night. Would highly recommend

The best Airbnb I’ve stayed at! It was extremely cozy and clean, and the breakfast was wonderful.

We had a lovely stay at Nancy and Roger's place. They are lovely people and make you feel right at home in their beautiful house. We really enjoyed the patio and seeing many different birds in the morning. The room is comfortable and exceptionally well stocked with snacks and breakfast items. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in the area!

Great experience - the rooms were very very unique, with really huge and comfy beds and lots of interesting details all around. Renee kindly stayed up to welcome us even after we ended up arriving later than expected. Breakfast was quite small but very deicious:) And finally the view from the balcony was breathtaking... such an incredible area to visit!
