Lovely comfortable and clean cottage. Great views over the farm and animals and very quiet and peaceful. Modern bathrooms, plenty of hot water and good heating in the cottage. Hosts very friendly. Good location for Chester, several National Trust properties and gardens.

Had a beautiful peaceful weekend stay here to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The little barn is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need to feel at home - two really good sized bedrooms, a large open kitchen / lounge area, two really nice bathrooms with showers, a freestanding bath in the main bedroom and a lovely patio area perfect for socialising. The decor is so so beautiful, you feel right at home and cosy! Every little touch was well thought of and just so perfect, even down to the little goodies to welcome us! If I could copy and paste this little barn and attach it to my house I would!! Jane welcomed us on arrival and showed us the little barn which was a great touch and if we needed anything just to let her know. She also recommended some restaurants nearby which we went for a Sunday Roast at the Chalmondeley Arms - beautiful and highly recommend and only a 5 minute drive down the road! We will definitely be back next year without a doubt!!

A lovely, neutrally decorated, pristinely presented property with some "subtle hints of home" that made it a warm and inviting feel without it feeling like you were invading someone's personal space. For a smaller property, this place had oodles of space and storage. Parking is free and easy and it's just a few minutes, easy walking, into town. Making it a perfect stay to access Whitchurch and the surroundings. Sam has been amazing throughot, information shared has been useful and she responded quickly to any message. Would highly recommend.
