Monthly Rentals in Bassenthwaite

We loved our stay here! The house was perfect and had everything which we needed. Arriving from a long journey to some chocolate, cake and milk was such a bonus! David provided instructions of a local walk, we absolutely love the area with SO much to do in terms of walks and beautiful views to see and 100% will be returning here!

We had a great stay, definitely helped by the weather. Bassenthwaite is a great location to explore lots of the northern and western lakes and tick off more wainwrights for us. We had a lovely meal at the village pub just around the corner and enjoyed sitting by the stream. The place is very homely and has a very well equipped kitchen to self cater. We’d definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay

Donna and Paul were great freindly hosts, Paul even asked if would like anything from the local shop as he was going. Any questions that I had before and during our stay were answered very quickly by Donna. We had Fieldside no2. It was very well equipped right down to liners for the double air fryer! The view from the living area and bedroom were great, sheep right outside. The location for us was perfect, approx 20 minutes by car to both Keswick in one direction and the coast in the other. A great stay and we will be back!!

We had a great 6 nights at this lovely cottage. Travelled out and about to various sites, spent time in the garden, time in the cottage. A great base to explore the lakes. The weather was warm and dry (unexpected really). Mark gave us some local tips, as did the lovely neighbours. All amenities as listed, a very comfortable cottage and another AirBnB that we plan to return to next year.
