Marjory is the kindest, most thoughtful host. And the studio is perfect. Quiet, and surrounded by the most peaceful West Tisbury meadows. It’s the ideal launching place for up island explorations, days at Lamberts Cove, and just generally relaxing and getting into that deep calm of rural Vineyard vibes. I’ll be back!

If you love the ocean like i do this place is the perfect place to hear the waves crash from your room. I needed an escape and this was just the place to take away from the chaos. I will be looking out for openings in the reservations for future stays!

Paul’s place is like a museum! So much history and he takes great pride in it! Tracey met us and gave us all the important info we needed! We got settled in and felt right at home. The bed was so comfortable and the newly refinished bathroom was large with a shower that had great pressure. The breakfast the next morning, wow! It was perfection! Thank you Tracey and Paul! We will definitely be back!

Bill was super helpful under challenging circumstances. He confirmed the reservation really quickly, which was needed. And when i needed extra assistance, it was provided without hesitation. It is a beautiful location, right on the beach. And the price was really reasonable for what we needed. Altogether a great experience!

I have stayed here many times. it is a historic place that has not been totally upgraded. That is why it is affordable. I hope it never changes. I always love staying here.

David was friendly, google maps navigated us to the wrong place at first, we ran into David through the back door of the house and he helped us find the right spot.Nice clean room with heater inside, we slept comfortably.There were bagels and coffee in the morning, I got up late and only had coffee.The house is nice and quiet around and has a few restaurants and bars within walking distance.

I couldn’t have been more thrilled with Carol’s gem of a place. I was in nearby Halifax for a dressage competition at Fieldstone Show Park and was looking for a place that was close and comfortable. Got really lucky in finding Carol’s place in that it had everything I wanted. Privacy, comfort, and amenities. Was thrilled with the snacks, coffee, and water provided, the microwave, and much, much more. (And the bed was very comfortable.) Carol and her husband Rob (I’m also Carol and my husband is Rob, so this was meant to be!) were friendly and charming and while our chats were brief, I really enjoyed them. Will definitely try to book this place again when I am back in town for a horse show!

My sister and I had a lovely stay at Kathy’s Inn. It was charming and comfortable and Kathy was attentive to anything we needed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, we loved it! Would definitely stay here again.

Irene and Roger were extremly responsive and considerate even if our arriving was past midnight. We were impressed by their attention to detail, and the morning breakfast they served. They also provided excellent tips on local restaurants and attactions.

Freddy is a treasure and to stay in his Airbnb has been an honor. It's really well located and his extensive knowledge of all the happenings during the weekend positioned us right in the heart of the action.

We had an amazing stay at Kathleens Cottage. Both her and Frank were amazingly friendly hosts. The accommodation is spacious with bedroom, living area and bathroom - all spotless. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Added bonus here are the wonderful breakfasts each morning where Kathleen treats you to her daily bakes (banana/pecan and coffee cakes were delicious) plus soufflé etc... each morning she had something different. It was so relaxing to sit outside in the decked garden area each morning enjoying breakfast and chatting, getting great recommendations of what to do and where to go and was the perfect start to what were busy and enjoyable days exploring this beautiful island. Frank and Kathleen gave us great recommendations for places to eat and even gave advice on where to go for our next stop in the itinerary (Newport, Rhode Island - their recommendations were again 100% spot on). Thanks both for being such great hosts. 100% recommend this place

A friend and I spent one night at Carol and Jeff’s inn. We had a lovely room with access to a porch, where we spent quite a bit of time. Carol and Jeff are very welcoming hosts and have have thought of everything for furnishing their rooms for guest comfort and convenience. The included breakfast was truly excellent, everything freshly and skillfully prepared. Now that I know they are there, I will stay with them on my trips to the area.

Martin’s place was great! Felt like you were in an old-school sea cottage inn, which we absolutely loved! His staff and him were very helpful and accommodating. The provided breakfast options were awesome! It’s about a nice 15 minute walk to the Hy-Line port and about 25 minute walk to the Main Street. We enjoyed the scenic walk! It’s also a short 3 min walk to beach access. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend !!

Charming, clean, comfortable. Great location one block from the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and lots of shops and restaurants in town. The hosts went out of their way to help me arrange a shuttle from airport and even offered to buy a sandwich and leave it in my room since I would be arriving after all the restaurants were closed. Wonderful, very ample breakfast with lots of variety- quiche, granola, fruit, toast etc. served in the morning. The other guest were very friendly and enjoyed sharing notes on their travels. Highly recommended!

Donna and Marc were amazing. They are such nice people with great hospitality. Our room was spotless clean and they really care about sanitation during these challenging times. We felt safe and comfortable staying at LongDell. The breakfast was delicious! We preferred to have our breakfast outside at the table next to their beautiful waterfall fountain and mini pond. They gave us great suggestions on where to eat or where to go. You can borrow the beach chairs and towels from them which was really nice. The beach is 15 minute walk from the Inn, so you don't have to pay for parking at the beach ($25 per day). There is a very nice ice cream shop near LongDell where you can enjoy delicious homemade ice-cream! We went on a walk at the skunknett river wildlife sanctuary nearby which was beautiful! (6 min drive from the Inn). LongDell is a quiet place where you can have some piece of mind and enjoy the positivity around! Thanks you so much Marc and Donna! We are definitely coming back :)

Sara was awesome! We will definitely stay here again if we were in the area. The place was clean and comfortable, and Sara was welcoming, communicative, and conversational while looking out for the comfort of us as guests. Just make sure you are respectful of the space as you are staying in a room in her home. Thanks so much Sara, it was so nice to meet you!

Our host was incredibly friendly. The communication for our late check in (after dark) was clear and easy to follow. The room was very clean. Enjoyed our stay and will consider this location again.

This is now my THIRD time coming to this AirBnB! And everything is just as amazing as I remembered it. I brought another friend of mine and she absolutely loved it. It is so peaceful and it’s the perfect place to have some downtime. As usual, Greg and Jackie make an amazing breakfast in the morning of either pancakes or French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit salad, yogurt, etc. And I always enjoy my conversations with them. I’m definitely returning this summer!

The best of Airbnb, the room was spotlessly clean and quiet, in a beautiful idyllic home on Cape Cod. Nelly was pleasant, available, responsive, and made all elements of the stay very easy and comfortable. She expressed genuine interest in helping me enjoy my time on Cape Cod, and we had a lovely conversation over a delicious breakfast. Exactly the experience I seek on Airbnb, highly recommended.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway. Breakfast was great, the room and view was beautiful, and we enjoyed conversation with the hosts. It is very peaceful and relaxing. Just a short drive from the gardens and great restaurants. Even though it was chilly, we still enjoyed walking on the beach which was very quiet, we almost had the whole beach to ourselves. We would definitely stay there again.

This was our 4th or 5th year coming here. My Summer wouldn’t be complete without staying here. The views are incredible!! I just love sitting out on the balcony all day long listening to the waves. It’s so peaceful & relaxing. One of my favorite places! The breakfast is always soo good to. Always sad to leave but looking forward to coming back next year.
