Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Banner Elk

This was the nicest and cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Jeff and Bunny checked in on us and were very responsive. It took our breath away from the moment we turned into the driveway. Very close to Boone and West Jefferson which was great. We were also able to bring our pups which was a huge bonus! We were not ready to leave. We will be going back soon!!

This was a great space for several families to come together. We used all the spaces - ping pong, deck, games at dinner table. We have spaces to come together but spaces to have privacy. Really enjoyed the location.

Yvonne’s farmhouse is absolutely amazing! Exactly as described and was surrounded by beauty! It took me back in time when I grew up in Boone. Beds were very comfortable, couches and chairs were amazing, as well! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! The farm fresh eggs, juice and milk (along with all the goodies on the bar) was such a sweet and thoughtful touch to this already amazing home! We had such a wonderful time here! Thank you so much for being an absolute amazing host!! 10 plus stars! ⭐️✨ ✨ 💜🤍

I really enjoyed my stay at Ian's place. it was great to visit with my kids and grandchildren, we were able to have an Easter egg hunt for the kids in the yard. it was so peaceful and beautiful sitting outside on the porch swing.

We’d loved staying at Brenna’s place! The hot tub and heated floors in the bathroom were a hit for the adults, and the toys were a huge hit for my toddler! We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Me and my friends really enjoyed this beautiful house. The decor is unique and very well done, it has everything you need and was well set up for larger groups. We loved the outdoor area and felt it was thoughtfully setup and equipped. We would definetly stay again if in the area!

We were impressed with how clean this home was and very much appreciated it. The location was convenient to town. The host was very quick to respond to questions and even recommended a local garage for an issue with my car. The only thing that wasn’t ideal were barking dogs at bedtime a couple nights but that isn’t the home owners fault, just mentioning for people that might be bothered by it, don’t know if the dogs belonged to a local or if they belonged to other travelers who rented nearby.

We visit the area every year, but this was our first time staying so close to Boone, and we loved it! The location made quick trips to Blowing Rock and the store super convenient, while still feeling peaceful and secluded. Ashley and Bart were incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had just lost our dog before arriving, and Ashley immediately refunded the pet fee, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. That said, this place is perfect for dogs, with the river right out back and plenty of room to roam. Can’t recommend it enough!

Matt was an incredible host! We had everything we were looking for and more, When and if we had a request or question Matt made it his mission to respond to the best of his ability. 10/10 experience as far as our accommodations were concerned!

We had a great time here. The house was beautiful and the host thought of everything to make it as kid friendly as possible. It’s so helpful when traveling with 1 and 4 yr old to already have things like a pack n play and toys at the destination! We would stay here again.

This is my 4th time staying at Tonyia’s cabin for work! It was sparkling clean as usual! They have everything you need with kitchen supplies, bathroom supplies, etc. The location is the best in the area. Land Harbor is absolutely beautiful this time of year. They have SO many amenities and it’s beautiful to drive around and hike around the trails and parks in the area. The trees, flowers, and nature are beautiful! It’s a must stay cabin!

Great peaceful place to stay. We had an absolute blast while we were there. It is absolutely beautiful. Lance was a great host and made you feel right at home. You would never even know he was there if he hadn’t come out and met you the place is absolutely beautiful if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay, you can’t go wrong staying here. It is beautiful. Words can’t describe how beautiful it was there and what was even more amazing two jets flew right over where we were staying at at a very low altitude. I meant words can’t describe when you see that and also the wildlife was everywhere. A deer walked up within 20 feet of us. We loved our stay and we were going back in October.

Loved our stay! It was the perfect location for our weekend trip and we really enjoyed the place. The bed was super comfy and we really appreciated all the amenities of the home and neighborhood.

My stay here was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed and well taken care of. The hosts went above and beyond, fresh flowers, a bottle of wine, plush robes, great coffee… every detail was thoughtfully done. The place itself was perfect: private and peaceful with stunning views, yet still super close to everything I wanted to do. Whether I was out exploring or just relaxing in the space, it felt like a true getaway. Can’t recommend this spot, or these hosts, enough. I’ll definitely be back!

This little cabin was in a gorgeous location! Right next to the snow tubing and not far from grandfather mountain! The views from the hot tub were amazing! Brought our two dogs and they loved it! The patio with the hot tub was fenced in so the dogs were able to hang with us while we were relaxing in the hot tub! Definitely would recommend and plan to come back!

The cabin is even more beautiful than the photos convey. Very private and peaceful. Well stocked coffee / tea bar. Well stocked bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. An absolutely gorgeous place to get away and unwind.

Property was nice and quiet and very secluded. Had trails to walk and could get right in the water out the back door. Definitely will be back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat while attending our daughter's wedding in Boone. The home is beautifully furnished, cozy, and perfectly located with easy access to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi and spending time on the spacious outdoor decks — perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The host thought of everything, and the property felt like a true home away from home. We can't wait to come back again!

It was a wonderful, warm and cozy place to stay. There are neighbors but we remained private. The bed was comfortable and I fell in love with the cozy shower. It was perfect for two. I will be staying again.

Wow, this is our second time staying at Kokomo, and it has become our absolute favorite location on Beech Mountain! Breathtaking views, easy spacious parking, no hassle entry and the sound of every bird you can imagine has been music to our ears. The excitement of nature is everywhere! That’s just describing the outside. Inside is so accommodating to everyone’s needs and wants. Big spacious rooms, lots of family fun activities, detached game-room, special treats, and luxurious extras with an amazing hot tub and an incredible sauna. We will continue to make this our first choice Airb&b when we visit the mountains! Most importantly, I do not believe there’s enough nice words in the world to describe how sweet and kind Sophia is hosting this location! She makes sure our experience is spectacular every time! Our sisters trip was amazing and the guest house was so perfect. So clean and our host was super nice. The view was amazing overlooking the mountains from the balcony. Would book again for sure.
