Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Banner Elk

This was the nicest and cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Jeff and Bunny checked in on us and were very responsive. It took our breath away from the moment we turned into the driveway. Very close to Boone and West Jefferson which was great. We were also able to bring our pups which was a huge bonus! We were not ready to leave. We will be going back soon!!

I had an amazing time. The house was cozy and comfortable for 4 adults. Sarah was also very attentive.

10/10 Beautiful, clean, private home in Valle Crusis. Our favorite part was the idyllic views from the back porch! Hosts were extremely communicative. Be aware you have to take your trash to the local recycling center (it's close to the property).

My husband needed to stay in the area and Ricky’s place was very convenient. He had an amazing rest time.

This place is even more beautiful than the pictures allow! We planned a last-minute small wedding and we’re on the search for a venue. Me and my husband are both dual military and unexpectedly. He went away to training, however his command allowed him to get away for a few days in order for us to do a wedding ceremony. Being that it was super last minute, we were uncertain aware we would be able to go, however, stumble upon Sean and Crissys Airbnb listing and we’re super hopeful that they would allow us to do a small wedding here. Thankfully they agreed and went above and beyond to check in with us and see if there’s anything we need or how they can be of assistance. Went off without a hitch and I am so happy with everything thank you so much.

We had a lovely time staying at DJ's beautiful home. Although there are neighbors, it felt fairly private with beautiful views all around. The house is impeccably clean, styled well with everything you need and no clutter. It smelled fresh and clean without smelling like air freshener or cleaning supplies. All the furniture is comfortable.

The condo was well maintained and included everything our family of 4 needed to have a good time. The facility offered shuttles to the distant parking area which was appreciated. The location is beautiful. Onsite food selection at the pantry is minimal, definitely recommend grocery shopping prior to arrival. The location is 20-30 minutes from attractions in Boone.

Great communication, clear and concise instructions for check in and check out. Lots of thoughtful amenities provided, even treats for our pups. Kitchen is fully stocked and bathroom products are provided. Great place to get away, but close enough to all the area has to offer.

Warren has a lovely home in the mountains. The property was very quiet and surrounded by nature. I especially loved sitting outside at night watching the fireflies, the stars and smelling the sweet scent of nearby flowers. The bed was comfortable and the unit had everything needed to make meals.

Sabrina was an excellent host and left no questions unanswered! She also had good recommendations. The Cocoon was just as cozy and quaint as the pictures, and we will absolutely be booking again to use the sauna come winter time! I recommend this place for anyone who is traveling with 1-2 people and would like to be within close range of King St!

Quiet apartment over the detached garage. Beautiful property. Very clean and comfortable. Close to the cute downtown area and easy to access with any vehicle. Plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, and clean linens. Would certainly stay again.

Jason was extremely accommodating for us, helping us with our booking dates and went above and beyond to make sure we had the dates that we needed. Jason was very responsive and proactive. The location is right in the heart of downtown Boone and was perfect walking distance to campus and plenty of places to eat. Really has made our stay in Boone perfect. Would absolutely recommend booking this location!

What to write in such a small space! Kevin and Susie are precious folks. We got in late on our first night and Kevin helped carry our things upstairs. And chatted with us for a bit. Susie had made some AMAZING cookies for us. We loved the space of the apartment. It was clean, cozy and just as the pictures portrayed. The bed was so comfortable!!! We will definitely be staying here again. Roan Mountain is our me favorite place and Kevin and Susie have the best place to enjoy it! Thanks for having us ♥️

Our stay here was Awesome! It's exactly what we needed. The space was lovely, beautiful, and very peaceful. I was in town handling some stressful business and I was able to escape into an oasis at Jaime's house. Thank you so much for being accommodating to me and my family.

Quaint well decorated place! All the bells and whistles you need. Very close proximity to downtown. Bedrooms were very cozy. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the town.

The view was beautiful! And it was a cozy stay and very close to sugar mountain ski resort! Which we loved! It even snowed the first two days and last day and it was beautiful the snow was so fluffy! Also as a housekeeper myself the place was freshly clean! :)

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very kind and accommodating host with thoughtful amenities! Easy to check in and out and the cute condo was extremely clean and inviting. We loved the friendly town of Banner Elk and will be coming back!

This was the perfect space to relax and rewind. The private balcony, cozy fireplace, and view of the mountain made us want to stay forever. Eric was extremely helpful and friendly. He responded asap - couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

Just took my young girls there for their first time skiing and it was a great experience! Ian was very responsive and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back! The views and accommodations were amazing!!

Had an awesome Memorial Day weekend here! The bunk beds were a big win with the kids. We'll probably be back!

Fabby's place was awesome! It's a perfect one bedroom, one bath AirBnb with a pull-out couch. It was completely stocked with whatever we needed and was super clean and comfortable. The surroundings were beautiful- what gorgeous views we had! The covered outdoor porch is huge and perfect for hanging out and enjoying the outdoors. Fabby was very responsive and flexible with our checkout time, which I really appreciated. We were allowed to have our 2 small dogs there, which was great. I would highly recommend staying there. It was amazing!!
