Monthly Rentals in Balaton

We got to know Judit and Sandor as wonderful hosts. Communication was always warm, so the Google translation didn't bother us. In addition to the apartment furnished with a lot of love for detail, we were spoiled with delicacies. Likewise, a bottle of wine and water was available for us as a gift. The apartment had air conditioning that we could use for a fee and that also sweetened the hot days for us. The apartment was just steps from the Balaton swimming beach. There was a supermarket and restaurants in the village. Since we were there in the off-season, the beach was free of charge. In our opinion, a trip to the south beach by ferry and the lake cave in Tapolca are highly recommended. We express an unreserved recommendation for our warm hosts and thank you for the pleasant stay. Thank you, it was very nice to see something traditional and typical for Hungary. There is beautiful nature around it and Eger is also only 30 min away.

The place is very nice and cozy. There is a huge, very nice garden area with a large barn with extra kitchen, barbecue and plenty of seating, perfect for a garden party. That means the accommodation is also recommended for larger groups. There are several apartments of different size that can be booked. We arrived by train, and had to walk about 20 minutes to the property. Restaurants, wineries, supermarket and bakeries are very close. The beach of Lake Balaton including tourist center is about a 30-minute walk away. However, there are also bicycles for free use (but you have to go up the mountain to the property because the accommodation is elevated). All in all highly recommended. The only drawback was the language difficulties at check-in (the person at check-in unfortunately did not speak English, so we communicated with hands and feet, but he was very nice :)

Beautiful apartment and peaceful location. Very clean and cozy! The local discounts were great and so was the sauna. I loved my stay in Tihany.
